        공단지역 및 청정지역 식물 잎권의 잎표면세균 및 내산성세균의 분포

        산성강하물의 영향을 받는 대전공단지역과 영향을 받지 않는 청정지역인 대전 계족산 자연휴양림에서 자라는 밤나무(Castanea crenata)의 잎표면에서 서식하는 총세균수, 생존세균수, 종속영양세균수, 내산성세균수를 1996년 8월부터 1997년 8월까지 5회에 걸쳐 조사하였다. 공단지역 잎표면 평균 총세균수, 생존세균수 및 종속영양세균수는 각각 $9.9{\times}10^5cell/cm^2$, $1.6{\times}10^6cell/cm^2$, $7.1{\times}10^3cfu/cm^2$로서 청정지역에 비하여 각각 1.5배, 2배, 2.6배 정도로 관찰되었다. MPN법으로 측정한 pH 5.6에서의 잎표면 내산성세균수는 공단지역 $3.3{\times}10^4$, 청정지역 $3.4{\times}10^4MPN/cm^2$로 거의 같았고, pH 4.0에서의 내산성세균수는 공단지역에서 $1.9{\times}10^{-1}MPN/cm^2$인 반면 청정지역세서는 전혀 검출되지 않았다. pH 3.0에서의 내산성 잎표면세균수는 공단지역과 청정지역의 잎권 어느 곳에서도 검출되지 않았다. 한편 계절별 잎포면세균수의 분포는 대체로 잎이 나기 시작하여 크기가 가장 작은 5월에 최대를, 그리고 낙엽이 지는 11월에 최소를 나타내었다. 이런 결과는 공단지역의 대기오염물질의 침적이 주변의 식물 잎표면 세균수를 감소시키지는 않으며, 특히 산성강하물의 영향으로 내산성세균수가 증가함을 보여주고 있다. Total, direct viable count, and acid-tolerant epiphytic bacterial population sizes were quantified on leaves of chestnut tree (Castanea crenata S. et Z.) near Taejon Industrial Estate affected by acid precipitation and deposition as well as in the clean natural forest area, Mt. Kyejok, in Taejon city from August 1996 to August 1997. Geometric mean numbers of total, direct viable count, and acid-tolerant epiphytic bacteria were $9.9{\times}10^5cell/cm^2$, $1.6{\times}10^6cell/cm^2$, and $7.1{\times}10^3cfu/cm^2$ respectively, being 1.5, 2, and 2.6 times those in the clean area. Acid-tolerant epiphytic bacterial numbers at pH 5.6 by MPN method were $3.3{\times}10^4$ in the industrial area, about the same as the number, $3.4{\times}10^4MPN/cm^2$, of the clean area. Acid-tolerant bacterial number at pH 4.0 was $1.9{\times}10^{-1}MPN/cm^2$ in the industrial area, whereas none was detected in the clean area. Acid-tolerant bacteria at pH 3.0 were not detected at all in the industrial area as well as in the clean area. Epiphytic bacterial population sizes were generally the greatest in May when leaves are emerged and grew hut the lowest in November when defoliation occurs. These results showed that air pollutant deposition on leaves did not cause a decrease of epiphytic bacteria at least and acid deposition on leaves did cause an increase of acid-tolerant bacteria.

        The ground high/low temperature test objective is to check the normal ground operation of FA-50 aircraft in the extreme ground ambient conditions. The aircraft was exposed in climatic conditions of the basic climatic category according to the MIL-HDBK-310. For verified normal operation in the extreme high temperature, the high temperature test was performed in the hot regional type conditions and accentuated solar radiation heat. This test was performed at the test chamber in ADD where is in Haemi. This paper was described about the test procedure of FA-50 high/low temperature including preparation, testing and results.

      • New EM algorithm for Principal Component Analysis

        We present an expectation-maximization algorithm for principal component analysis via orthogonalization. The algorithm finds actual principal components, whereas previously proposed EM algorithms can only find principal subspace. New algorithm is simple and more efficient than probabilistic PCA specially in noiseless cases. Conventional PCA needs computation of inverse of the covariance matrices, which makes the algorithm prohibitively expensive when the dimension of data space is large. This EM algorithm is very powerful for high dimensional data when only a few principal components are needed.

      • 근사적 클러스터링에 의한 다중 전극 활동 전위 분류

        다중 전극으로 측정한 활동 전위의 분류(Multi-electrode spike sorting)는 단일전극(single-electrode)보다 더 정확한 결과를 보여준다. 그러나 다중 전극에서 주어지는 활동 전위 크기들의 클러스터는 일반적으로 분류하기 쉽지 않은 문제이다. 이 논문에서는 고전적인 클러스터링 알고리듬 중의 하나인 Mountain method 를 수정하여 다중 전극 활동전위의 분류에 적합한 알고리듬을 제안한다. 통상적인 데이터 클러스터링이 아닌 공간분할을 통해 신경 데이터의 다양한 클러스터에 대해서 적응도가 높아지고 빠른 분류를 하게 된다.

        In this work, a 3 D.O.F levitation system for fine positioner is developed. Arrangement of three magnet circuits that is created between three electromagnets of fixed body and three iron cores of the levitation body, automatically stabilizes the plane motions. And the feedback control of three electromagnets stabilizes and controls other motions. Analysis, design, and modeling of the 3 D.O.F Magnetic levitation system are presented. Prototype is manufactured to show the system performances experimentally. Consequently, the concise 3 D.O.F levitation system which is realized complete noncontact, has the accuracy dependant on sensor performance, the robustness for disturbance in the operating range and also traces 20Hz frequency input.

        Macrolide계 항생물질 동시분석법 확립 및 모니터링

        축산물 중 macrolide계 항생물질 3종을 신속분석하기 위하여 효과적인 전처리법을 설정하고 고속액체크로마토그라피(HPLC)를 이용한 동시분석법을 제시하였다. 대상물질은 tilmicosin, tylosin, spiramycin이며, 확립된 분석법을 이용하여 모니터링을 실시하기 위하여 전국 6개 도시인 서울, 부산, 대전, 인천, 대구, 광주에서 수입원산지가 표시된 쇠고기와 돼지고기 및 그 가공품을 수거하여 분석하였다. 전처리법에 있어서 solid phase extraction(SPE)법에 비하여 액상추출법이 더 높은 회수율을 나타내었으며 전처리 단계도 간단하여 대상 항생물질을 분석하기에 적절하였다. 3종의 항생물질 분리를 위한 컬럼은 C18(250 ㎜×4.6 ㎜, 5 ㎛)을 사용하였으며, HPLC 이동상은 0.025M phosphate buffer(pH 2.5) 및 acetonitrile을 이용한 gradient 조건을 설정하였다. UV 검출파장은 spiramycin 경우 232 ㎚이고, tilmicosin과 tylosin은 288 ㎚을 이용하였다. 평균회수율은 83.0-90.2%이였으며, 검출한계는 각각 7(spiramycin), 12(tilmiconsin), 12(tylosin) ng/g으로 나타났다. 수입 축산물의 항생물질에 대한 안전성을 검토하기 위하여 국내 유통중인 수입축산물 및 그 가공품을 대상으로 하여 모니터링을 실시한 결과, 시료는 전국 6개 대도시에서 126건 구입하였으며 모든 시료에서 macrolide계 항생물질이 검출되지 않았다. In this study, a simple and rapid pre-treatment method based on liquid extraction was applied for the simultaneous determination of three macrolides (spiramycin, tylosin, and tilmicosin) residues. In these studies, the stock farm products was used as a matrix sample. When the liquid extraction method was compared with the solid phase extraction (SPE) method, the former showed higher recovery percentages and simpler steps than the latter. The macrolids were separated using a reverse-phase C18 (250 ㎜×4.6 ㎜, 5 ㎛) column and a gradient elution with mobile phases consisting of phosphate buffer (pH 2.5) and acetonitrile. Tylosin and tilmicosin were detected at 288 ㎚ and spiramycin was detected at 232 ㎚. The average recovery percentage ranged between 83.0-90.2% for samples spiked with the three macrolids at 50 and 100 ng/g The validation results showed that the limit of detection (7 (spiramycin), 12 (tilmiconsin), 12 (tylosin) ng/g)) was under the regulatory tolerances and the linearity from calibration curves was satisfactory for determining the multi-residue of three macrolids in farm products. Monitoring samples were collected at the main cities in Korea as Seoul, Busan, Deajeon, Incheon, Deagu, and Gwangju. Microlide antibiotics were not detected in most samples.

        N/A Behcet's disease is known as a multisystemic disease caused by nonspecific vasculitis of obscure origin. Among the systemic manifestations, pulmonary involvement is know to be very rare and only a few cases have been documented. The most important features of pulmonary lesions in Behcet's disease are the fleeting nature of the pulmonary infiltrate and recurrent hemoptysis, which is often massive and fatal. We report a case of Behcet's disease manifested as multiple pulmonary nodules which was caused by pulmonary infarction as a result of pulmonary arteritis.

        간장및 담도 : 만성간질환 환자의 상부위장관 증상에 대한 Domperidone 효과에 대한 연구

        N/A The fact that chronic hepatitis patients with dysfunctional upper gastro-intestinal symptoms have delayed gastric empting time was documented in our previous study. Fifteen patients with chronic hepatitis participated in a assessment of the effects of domperidone on gastric empting time and dysfunctional upper gastrointestinal symptoms such as recurrent nausea, vomiting, postprandial bloating, anorexia and meight loss. They were each given domperidone 10 mg t.i.d. for four weeks. The resu1ts are as folIowing; 1) The total patints with chronic hepatitis are 15 in number, composed of chronic active hepatitis 9, chronic persistant hepatitis 6. 2) The GET (T 1/2) OF 15 patients with chronic hepatitis was delayed significantly than that of the normal control. (Mean +- SE; 135.0 +- 6.0 vs 89.4 +- 5.9 mins) (p<0.05). 3) Follow-up GET (T 1/2) of these patients after domperidone treatment were 116.0 +- 5.5 mins but those results were not statistically significant different from initial GET (T 1/2) (135.0 +- 6.0 mins). 4) Domperidone significantly promote dysfunctional gastrointestinal symptoms such as recurrent nausea, vomiting, postprandial bloating, anorexia, and weight loss. (Mean +- SE; 4.3 +- 0.2 vs 0.8 +- 0.2 symptom scores) (p<0.05). 5) The two side effect seen only with domperidone, diarrhea and mild abdominal pain occurred in one patient each and neither was severe enough to require discontinuing the study. No neurologic problems were noted.

        N/A The fact that gastric mucosal lesions are frequently seen in portal hypertension is already well known. In recent years, many workers reported that endoscopic features of gastric mucosa with portal hypertension showed minimal inflammation and marked venous ectasia and dilatation. However, the pathogenesis and pathophysiology and the diagnostic value of portal hypertension of these changes have been argued by many authors. Our purpose of the study is concerned about the incidence and the significance of congestive gastropathy on various chronic liver disease. For this aims, First, retrospectively the results of endoscopic features and liver biopsies of the 477 patients with abnormal liver function test were analyzed, investigated the incidence of these changes, and Second, prospectively selected 10 patients with normal liver function test and congestive gastropathy on the proximal part of the stomach, and unresponsive to anti-erosive medication, were under taken liver biopsies. The result was as follows; 1) The incidence of congestive gastropathy was similar in liver cirrhosts and in other types of chronic liver disease (p<0.05). LC 20.3% (38/187), CAH 16.8% (21/125), CPH 15.5%, (9/58), and others 14.3% (12/84). 2) In second study, 7 of the 10 patients undertaken liver biopsy probed to be the chronic liver diseases. 3) The liver function test of the one of the two who had no pathology on liver biopsy to be abnermal during follow-up 4 month in second study. These suggested that congestive gastropathy was found on various chronic liver disease and the possible stigmata even if without any other sign of the chronic liver disease.

        심해성 어류 중 메틸수은 모니터링

        심해성 어류 등에 대한 메틸수은 기준규격 설정에 따른 사후관리 차원의 모니터링을 실시하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 어종은 귀상어, 흑기흉상어, 곱상어, 청새리상어, 악상어, 적어, 은민대구 및 체장메기 등 총 492건을 수거하여 메틸수은 함량을 조사하였다. 메틸수은 분석을 위한 분석법 타당성을 검토한 결과 GC-μECD의 검출한계와 정량한계는 0.002 ㎎/㎏과 0.005 ㎎/㎏으로 나타났으며 메틸수은의 검량선은 상관계수가 0.9992로 우수한 직선성을 보였고, 회수율은 84.2-98.5%(평균 93.4%)로 나타났다. 심해성 어류의 메틸수은 함량은 각 어종 별로 유의적인 차이가 있었으며, 메틸수은 함량[최소값-최대값(평균±표준편차), 단위: ㎎/㎏]은 귀상어 0.157-2.009(0.546±0.311), 청새리상어 0.211-0.878 (0.501±0.154) 및 곱상어 0.121-0.993(0.482±0.189) 등에서 높게 나타났으며, 악상어 0.243-0.658(0.397±0.090), 흑기흉상어 0.074-1.958(0.353±0.418), 은민대구 0.038-0.807(0.302±0.201) 및 적어0.099-0.511(0.300±0.094) 등에서는 낮은 것으로 나타났고, 체장메기의 경우 0.037-0.133(0.067±0.016)으로 나타나 조사된 어종 중유의적으로 가장 낮은 함량을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 조사된 심해성 어류 중 메틸수은 함량의 노출량 평가를 위해 JECFA의 PTWI와 비교 검토한 결과 상어류 0.7%, 은민대구 1.1% 및 체장메기 0.3% 수준으로 나타났다. 또한 극단적인 노출량 평가를 위해서 어종별 메틸수은 최대 함량을 이용하여 산출한 결과도 상어류 2.9%, 은민대구 2.9% 및 체장메기 0.6% 수준으로 나타나 심해성 어류의 섭취로 인한 메틸수은 노출량은 안전한 수준인 것으로 판단된다. The aim of this study was to determine the methylmercury (MeHg) levels in abyssal fish species. The MeHg in the fishes was extracted with hydrochloric acid and toluene and then purified using an L-cysteine solution. The extract was analyzed with a gas chromatography-electron capture detector (GC-μECD) with a thermon Hg-capillary column. The detection limit and the recovery of the method were 0.002 and 84.2-98.5% (mean, 93.4%), respectively. The MeHg content in 492 abyssal fishes ranged from 0.037 to 2.009 ㎎/㎏. The levels of MeHg [range, ㎎/㎏ (mean)] were significantly dependent on fish species and presented as the following; 0.157-2.009 (0.546) in Scalloped hammerhead shark, 0.211-0.878 (0.501) in Blue shark, 0.121-0.993 (0.482) in Spiny dogfish, 0.243-0.658 (0.397) in Salmon shark, 0.074-1.958 (0.353) in Blacktip shark, 0.038-0.807 (0.302) in Southern hake, 0.099-0.511 (0.300) in Scorpion fish, and 0.037-0.133 (0.067) in Ling. The monitoring results showed that the estimated weekly intake of MeHg from sharks, Southern hake, and Ling were lower than the provisional tolerable weekly intake recommended by the Joint FAO/WHO expert committee on food additives.
