The acoustic characteristics of expansion chamber will be changed with the variation of inlet/outlet location due to the higher order acoustic mode in a high frequency in which the plane wave theory is not available. In this paper, the acoustic performance of reactive type expansion chamber with circular cross-section is analyzed by using the modified mode matching theory. The sensitivity analysis of four-pole parameters with respect to the location of inlet and outlet is also suggested to increase the acoustic performance. The acoustic power transmission coefficient is used as cost function, and the location of inlet and outlet is used as design variables. The steepest descent method and SUMT algorithm are used for optimization technique. Several results showed that the expansion chamber with optimally located inlet/outlet had better acoustic performance than concentric expansion chamber.

The purpose of this study was to investigate correlations between the degree of feel while performing an archery shooting movement and kinematic factors among eight university archery players. The findings led to the following conclusions: There were correlations between the displacement of the hand pulling the string during release and the player’s awareness except for Sub 5. Sub 1 was shaking as the pulling arm was tightened; Sub 2 failed to use back tension properly; Sub 3 made a shot in a psychologically unstable state; Sub 4 was not complete with follow-through; Sub 5 needed to perform a shooting movement with confidence; Sub 6 made a shot with a tightened arm due to psychological anxiety; Sub 7 could not have a stable grip; and Sub 8 was not stable with the shooting movement due to unnecessary strength imposed on the arm.
소아 폐렴 환자에서 혈중 procalcitonin을 이용한 항생제 사용 결정과 임상적 결과의 비교 분석

Purpose: It is difficult to differentiate between viral and bacterial pneumonia in children and to decide antibiotic therapy. Study was conducted to investigate the clinical usefulness of antibiotic therapy based on procalcitonin (PCT) in children diagnosed with viral pneumonia. Methods: This study included 108 patients diagnosed with viral pneumonia. Patient’s age, fever duration, hospital stay, and treatment progress were noted, and laboratory study including PCT levels were tested. In addition, Polymerase chain reaction was done to test for viruses. Patients were divided into PCT and non-PCT groups according to PCT level. And their clinical patterns, treatment outcome, antibiotic use, severity of complications were compared. Results: The number of patients with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) was 35 and 50, rhinovirus was 5 and 10 in PCT and non-PCT groups, respectively. Fever duration was longer by 2.5 days in PCT group than in the non-PCT group (P<0.001), but there was no difference in the duration of hospital stay (P=0.191). White blood cell and absolute neutrophil count levels were higher in the PCT group (P=0.013 and P<0.001, respectively). Use of antibiotic therapy was performed in group was on 22% and 90% of patients in the PCT and non-PCT groups, respectively showing a significant reduction in the frequency of antibiotic therapy in PCT group, without a significant difference in treatment outcome, despite more severe clinical signs (P<0.001). Conclusion: Antibiotic therapy based on serum PCT levels in children admitted for pneumonia can reduce the frequency of antibiotic therapy in viral pneumonia, without causing significantly different treatment outcome or complications.
동시-스퍼터링 및 셀렌화에 의한 CuInSe<sub>2</sub> 박막 형성 기구 분석

CuInSe₂계 태양전지는 동시 증발공정으로 최고 효율 약 20%를 얻었으나, 동시 증발법은 대면적화 및 조성 균일도 조절에 어려움이 있다. 이에 반해 스퍼터링 및 셀렌화 공정은 동시 증발법에 비해 대면적의 조성 조절 및 생산속도가 뻐른 장점이 있다. 이에 따라 스퍼터링 및 셀렌화 공정을 통해 CIS 태양전지를 양산화 하려는 시도가 전세계적으로 활발히 진행중이다. 그러나 연구소 및 학교를 중심으로 연구가 진행되어 박막 증착 공정 및 단계별 박막 특성이 많은 부분 밝혀진 동시 증발공정에 비해, 몇몇 기업을 중심으로 연구가 진행되고 있는 스퍼터링/셀렌화 공정의 경우 공정 조건 및 이에 따른 박막 특성/형성기구에 대한 정보가 거의 없는 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CuIn 및 Cu 타겟을 동시 스퍼터링하여 전구체를 만든후 이를 셀렌화하여 CIS 박막을 성장시키고, 특히 열처리 단계별 상분석을 통해 CIS 형성기구를 고찰하고자 하였다.

세계항공운송시장의 경쟁체제가 점차 심화되는 가운데, 아시아·태평양지역 여객운송시장 에서도 저가항공사(LCC)가 새로운 주역으로 부상하고 있다. 말레이지아의 에어아시아(Air Asia)와 일본의 피치(Peach) 등 해외 국제선 경험이 풍부한 LCC외에 최근에는 자국내시장 이 거대한 중국 LCC가 파격적인 운임으로 공격적 영업을 하면서 우리나라를 중심으로 한 동북아 LCC 시장의 경쟁은 더욱 더 치열해질 것으로 예상된다. 항공시장에서도 중국은 아시아 항공시장에서의 중요한 변수가 되고 있다. 2015년12 월 한중 FTA의 국회비준통 과로한. 중간의 무역 및 항공교류는그 어느때 보다 관심이 고조 되고 있으며. 중국은 현재한국의 최대 수출국이자 최대 수입국으로 현재국내 한중 노선의 항공시장 규모는 꾸준히 커져가고 있다. 중국의 LCC 시장을 이끌고 있는 춘추항공(Spring Airlines)은 2013년 제주-상하이에 이어 2014년 인천-상하이노선의 정기노선을 취항하였는데, 인천-상하이노선을 운항하는 LCC는 춘추항공이 처음이지만 향후 중국노선에서의 LCC 간의 경쟁은 더욱 심화될 전망이다. 이처럼 국내항공시장은 저비용항공사가 출항한지 10년을 넘어서면서 국.내외적으로 큰 변화를 맞고 있음에도 불구하고, 거대 자본력과 국제선 운항 노하우를 가진 외국계 LCC에 대응할만한 경쟁력 제고방안이 미흡한 실정이다. 국내 LCC들도 외국 LCC들로부터 국내 시장의 보호를 넘어선 해외진출을 가속하기 위한 보다 구체적인 경쟁전략 수립이 필요하며, 이를 지원하기 위한 여러가지의 정책적 지원이 요구된다. Recently low-cost carriers are becoming major players in the world aviation market. Especially they achieved great success in US and European Market. Asia and Pacific region is now targeted as a potential market by low-cost carriers. Several aviation companies already entered into the market like Japan, Republic of China and so on. Considering this, the Republic of Korea needs to seek for various political support and strategies to expand their low-cost carrier market share. Among those is building a strategic partnership with aviation companies of China. It will help to develop and seize the opportunity in low-cost carrier market.
천연 갈변 억제제 개발을 위한 양파,사과 및 감귤 과피 추출물의 항산화 및 갈변 저해 효과

This study was carried out to investigate antioxidative properties of various extracts and antibrowning effects of extracts in apple slices were investigated by ΔE value and PPO relative activity. Apples were cut into 1.5 ㎝ thickness and they were dipped in 1% extract solutions(OW: water extracts of onion, OE: 80% EtOH extracts of onion, AW: water extracts of apple, AE: 80% EtOH extracts of apple, MW: water extracts of mandarin orange peel, ME: 80% EtOH extracts of mandarin orange peel) for 1 min. OW showed higher than the other treatments for total phenolic contents(94.35 ㎎/g), PPO inhibition(74.00%). And the highest DPPH free radical scavenging activity(40.27%) measured in ME. ΔE value of apple slices dipped in MW was 2.37 whereas ΔE value of apple slices dipped in AW was 12.12. These results suggest that onion and mandarin orange peel extracts should be a potential source for controlling browning during storage of apple slices.
