        잡기동작 수행 시 입모양에 따른 뇌활성화 분석

        Purpose:This study was performed to understand the relationship between hand and mouth shapes using functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI). Methods:Two healthy volunteers without any previous history of physical or neurological illness were recruited. fMRI was done that volunteers was 6 repeated of natural mouth, close mouth and open mouth while power grip and pinch grip movement. Results:Cerebral cortex activation was not well observed for the natural mouth during the power grip exercise. For the closed mouth, the temporal lobe, Broca`s area, the prefrontal area related to thinking and judgment, the supplementary motor area, the auditory area and Wernicke`s area were activated. For the open mouth, cortical activation was also observed in the temporal lobe, Wernicke`s area, the prefrontal area related to thinking and the orbital frontal area related to visual sense. During the pinch grip exercise, cortical activation was observed for the natural mouth in the primary sensory area, Wernicke`s area, the primary and supplementary motor area, and the prefrontal area. For the closed mouth, cortical activation was observed in the temporal lobe, Wernicke`s area, the prefrontal area related to thinking, the secondary visual area, the primary sensory area and the supplementary motor area. In the case of the open mouth, cortical activation was observed in a few parts in the temporal lobe as well as Wernicke`s area, the prefrontal area related to thinking, and other areas related to visual sense such as the primary visual area, the secondary visual area and the visual association area. Conclusion:Brain was more activation for close mouth and open mouth more than natural mouth movement.

        알파파 음악과 미술감상이 뇌졸중 환자의 손 기능에 미치는 영향

        Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of α-wave music and art appreciation on hand function in stroke with hemiplegia. Methods:A total of 32 stroke with hemiplegia participated in this study experimental group(16 subjects) received α-wave music and art appreciation with general neurologic therapy. Control group (16 subjects) received general neurologic therapy, All subjects were assessed for hand function (manual dexterity, power grip, pinch grip, two point discrimination (parm, finger), tactile sense (parm, finger) using a purdue pegboard, dynamometer, pinch gauge, two-point anethesiometer and semmes-weinstein monofilament wire, The data were analyzed using paired and independent t-test, Results:The results were as follows: 1, In the experimental group, manual dexterity were significantly increased between pre and post intervention (p<.05). 2. In the experimental group, tactile sesne in finger were sifnificantly increased between pre and post intervention (p<.05). Conclusion:The results of this study shows that α-wave music and art appreciation affect the hand function of hemiplegic side with regard to manual dexterity and tactile sense.

        우리나라 물리치료학과 교육과정 실태 분석

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate purpose of education, goal and curriculums of physical therapy department. Methods: It was carried out a questionnaire survey with total 74 colleges that have the department of physical therapy including the 3-year course (36 colleges) and 4-year course (38 college) from June 10 to August 7, 2010 and collected the data from total 64 colleges including 35 colleges with 4-year course and 29 colleges with 3-year course. Results: First, the purposed and objectives of the physical therapy education of the individual colleges were all excellent, but those of the colleges with 4-year course was a little higher than those of the colleges with 3-year course. Second, the evaluation of the curricula of the individual colleges showed that they have low degree of connection, continuation and integrity and the theory and practice were not harmonized, and scores were low especially in the practice. Third, we have classified the curricula of the individual colleges and found that the practice-based education was lacking among the curricula of Korea. Conclusion: In this study, the fundamental data for the establishment of the integrated and professional physical therapy education system was provided to improve the physical therapy education and the efficiency of the clinical work in the current, fast-moving status of physical therapy. Further study is necessary to present a more standardized curriculum.

        우리나라 물리치료 수가에 관한 연구

        Purpose:This study aims to figure out problems in Korea`s physical therapy, how to improve it, and the need for it by examining the nation`s physical therapy charges. Methods:This study was performed based on materials from the National Health Insurance Corporation, Korean academic theses, and domestic medical charge system. Results:The number of patients with physical therapy stood at around 17,764,428 in 2008, and then has gradually rose to 3 out of 100,000 citizens. The National Health Insurance Charge System based on relative values, which has been applied since 2001, is not desirable in that it is increasing patients` financial burden. Also, in deciding the amount of work carried out by physical therapists, their amount of input time, efforts, labor, and stress from their patients were not considered and the false relative value system has made patients pay more. Conclusion:Korean medical insurance charges and the overall system should be improved, so that physical therapists can perform specialized services of global physical therapy and service receiving patients do not incur losses.

      • 노르딕걷기와 일반걷기의 적외선 체열분석

        본 연구는 노르딕 폴을 이용하여 걷기운동을 했을 때 피부 온도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 건강한 성인을 대상으로 노르딕걷기와 일반걷기를 60분간 진행하였으며 디지털 적외선 체열 측정기로 전신의 전면, 후면의 초기 온도, 운동 시작 후 20분, 40분, 60분에 측정하였다. 측정 결과 노르딕걷기와 일반걷기를 하는 동안 상지, 체간, 하지의 체열은 감소하는 경향을 보였고, 노르딕걷기는 일반걷기 보다 온도 감소가 뚜렷하게 나타난 것으로 보아 노르딕 걷기는 하지의 부하(loading stress)를 줄여주어 준 다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

        Purpose:This study investigated to find the therapeutical effects of functional weight bearing exercise on the balance and gait in stroke. Methods:The subjects of this study were 13 hemiplegia was exercised using functional weight support exercise for 5 weeks, all of whom agreed to participate in the study. All subjects were measured to see their balance and gait with a Pro-3 balance system and Gait analysis. In order to assure the statistical significance of the results, we used for SPSS 12.0 for windows. Results:The results of this study were as follows : 1) There were statistically significant difference in medial-lateral stability and overall stability index. 2) There were statistically significant in distance and gait velocity index. Conclusion:According the results of this study, functional weight bearing exercise is effect on the balance and gait for hemiplegia

        노르딕 워킹과 일반 보행시 발 압력 비교

        The purpose of this study was to have group walk on a treadmill using Nordic pole walking and general walking for 30 minutes to see the degrees of changes in foot pressure. The subjects of this study 23 young adult males who voluntarily consented to participate in the study and had no disease history or any problem with walking. The subjects were divided into Nordic pole walking group of 11 subjects and general walking group of 12 subjects. The subjects in both groups were encouraged to face forward and walk in comfortable postures on the treadmill. The subjects in both groups did not wear any shoes during walking and the speed of the treadmill was set to the average of the speeds at which the subjects could comfortably walk in both groups. The foot pressure was measured three times. The mean value was calculated for the analysis. In the F3, F5, and R1 regions, the plantar pressure was significantly increased but there was no significant difference foot regions. The results of this study indicating that plantar pressure was changed by nordic pole walking. It considered to make normal gait pattern on foot.

      • 가방 무게와 척추 안정화 운동이특발성 척추 측만증 초등학생의동적 발바닥 압력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 특발성 척추 측만증 학생들이 메고 다니는 가방 무게에 따른 동적 발바닥 압력의 변화에 대해 알아보고 척추 안정화 운동으로 개선되는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상자는 10명의 초등학생으로 하여 평소에 가지고 다니는 가방으로 체중의 0%와 15%의 무게를 메고 동적 발바닥 압력을 측정하였으며, 8주간의 척추 안정화 운동 프로그램 후 변화되는 동적 발바닥 압력을 관찰하였다. 연구의 결과, 척추 안정화 운동 후에 체중의 15% 가방 무게에서 왼발의 동적 발바닥 압력은 8개 부위 중 7개 부위에서 감소하였으며, 특히 2개 부위는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이것은 척추 안정화 운동을 통해 개선되는 척추 각도와 함께 발바닥 압력의 불균형을 개선시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며 조기발견을 통한 운동 프로그램 적용이 효과적으로 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

        정중신경가동기법이 수근관증후군 환자의 악력과 통증에 미치는 영향

        Purpose:This study was to determine whether median nerve mobilization has any effect on the recovery of muscle power and the reduction of pain for the patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. Methods:20 patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome were randomly divided into two groups: 10 subjects treated both with electrical therapy and median nerve mobilization(experimental group) and the other 10 subjects treated only with electrical therapy(control group). The therapy was taken three times a week for 3 weeks. Results:The grip strength increased in both groups. However, the experimental group showed more significant treatment effect than the control group, and the significant changes appeared every week during the experiment period. In terms of pain, both groups showed significant effects. But the experimental group showed but more significant treatment effect than the control group, and the significant changes appeared every week during the experiment period. Conclusions:It was significantly more effective for the patients with carpal tunnel syndrome to apply median nerve mobilization during the electrical therapy in order to reduce pain and to increase grip strength, compared with the method only using electrical therapy. Further research should be conducted to generalize these results in terms of the clinical effectiveness of the nerve mobilization.

        책 읽기 자세가 목과 어깨의 근육 활성도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of muscle activity of splenius capitis and upper trapezius on sitting & standing posture. We examed 20 students undergraduate in G college who had healthy man and women. Sitting group of ten subjects read book in sitting posture. Standing group of ten subjects read book in standing posture. We examed splenius captis & upper trapezius muscle activation using electromyography. We selected 0, 60, 180, 300, 600, 900, 1200, 1500, 1800 second time. The results were as follows; There was no significant difference both splenius captis muscle activation during sitting & standing posture(p>.05). There was no significant difference left upper trapezius muscle activation during sitting & standing posture(p>.05). But Rt. upper trapezius muscle activation was significantly increase on prone position more than sitting position between 600 second and 900 second(p<.05). Upper treapzius muscle was more activated on prone position more than sitting position.
