The production parts have required multiple processes such as drawing, piercing, blanking and notching etc. are performed with a high production rates in progressive die. In order to prevent the defects of process result, the optimization of strip process layout design, die design, die making, and tryout etc. are needed. According to these factors of die development process, it has been required that the theory and practice of metal working process and its phenomena, die structure, machining conditions for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die components, processing know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and analyzed die components through the carrying out of upper relevant matters also simulated the strip process layout of multiple stage drawing by DEFORM. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis became to the feature of this study with a system of PDDC(Progressive Die design by computer).
A Study on the Development of Practical and Adaptive Progressive Die for Very Thick Sheet Metals

In the field of design and making tool for press working, the progressive die for very thick sheet metal(SS41, 4mm) is a specific division. In order to prevent the defects, the optimum design of the production part, Strip layout, die design, die making and tryout etc. are necessary. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, i.e. theory and practice of metal working process and its phenomena, die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die component, know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and constructed a progressive die of multi stage and tried out through the I-DEAS, DEFORM, and CAD/CAM application. Out of these processes, the die development could be taken advanced technology. Especially the result of try out and its analysis become to the characteristic of this study.
A Study on the Deep Hole Drilling for Refractory Metals

오늘날 기계공업 현장에서 심공드릴가공은 광범위한 응용과 양호한 생산성으로 인하여 그 요구가 증가 되고 있다. 그러므로, 본 연구는 난삭재인 SKDll고합금공구강을 여러가지 절삭 조건하에서 BTA드릴가공 하여 얻은 실험결과(표면조도, 진직도, 진원도, 원통도, 구멍확대량, 등 )를 다루었으며 이들의 이론적 배경과 실험을 비교 분석하였다. 프레스금형 부품과 기계부품으로 사용되고 있는 SKDll고합금공구강은 기계가공이 힘든 난삭재료로서 그 어려움이 크므로 본 연구는 생산현장에 보다 나은 심공드릴가공결과와 관련 지식을 제공 할수 있다고 사료된다.

ASV systems such as ACC, LDWS, LKAS, and FRMS provide the advantage of convenience and safety to a driver. Some ASV systems have been using radar and/or camera as sensors for their application. We need, thus, verification method to validate their performance and characteristics during the development. In this paper, the validation system is developed and its effectiveness is shown by comparing with a short range radar for stop & go and vision sensor for LDWS.
