        2000년 UN을 중심으로 한 각국 정상은 물과 위생시설의 공급과 여러 국제적 이슈들을 포함한 국제개발의제인 새천년개발목표(MDGs)를 2015년을 달성기한으로 삼아 수립하였다. 그러나 경제침체 및 원조를 받는 수원국의 역량을 고려하지 않아 위생시설의 보급을 포함한 많은 목표는 목표기한인 2015년까지 미달성될 전망이다. 현재 UN을 중심으로 한국제사회는 MDG 이후 국제 의제를 주도할 Post-2015 의제를 개발 중이다. 물 관련 Post-2015 의제 논의의 흐름을 살펴본 결과 물 관리 정책과 제도로의 물 관리 패러다임 중심의 이동과 글로벌 물 시장 확대 등 새로운 개발의제가 한국물 산업의 해외진출에 있어 시사하는 바가 크므로 한국정부의 국제 물 의제 형성과정에의 참여와 이에 대한 대응연구가 시급하다고 하겠다. International community established Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2000 which includes not only water issues but also other socioeconomic and environmental targets due by 2015. As the year 2015 gets nearer, UN and international community started the process of developing post-2015 international development agenda and water’s status has significantly been upgraded in the agenda. Thus, it is urgent to conduct follow-up research in response to the changing trends of international water agenda.

        습사료에 비타민 C와 E 첨가가 넙치 치어의 성장과 체성분에 미치는 영향

        N/A This study was conducted to investigate the supplementary effects of vitamin C and E to moist pellet on growth and body composition in juvenile olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Four groups of diet made : moist pellet (MP) diet group was used as the control group where the ratio of raw feed and commercial compound meal is 5:5 (CP 30%, CL 17%), vitamin C added group (VC), vitamin E added group (VE) and vitamin C and E added group (VCE). The supplementary amount of vitamin C and E corresponded to 1000 mg/kg (dry wt.) and 220 mg/kg (dry wt.), respectively. Vitamin C was destroyed 50% and vitamin E was destroyed 20% for manufacturing process. After 8 weeks feeding trial, weight gain was 121.9% in MP group, while it ranged from 180.5 to 184.9% in the VC, VE and VCE group. Feed efficiency was 71.6% in MP group, whereas it ranged from 78.7 to 80.6% in the VC, VE and VCE group, weight gain and feed efficiency of fish fed vitamin supplemented diets were significantly higher than control group and no significant difference among the vitamin added groups was observed (p>0.05). There were no significant differences in moisture, crude protein, crude lipid, crude ash, condition factor (CF), hepatosomatic index(HSI), and visceraweight index (VWI) of body composition. Hemoglobin (Hb) was 3.79% in MP group, whereas 4.99% in VC group, 4.55% in VE group and 5.07% in VCE group; Hb was significantly higher in the vitamin added groups than the control group (p<0.05). Vitamin C retention in liver was 18.1, 20.7, 46.6, 54.0 mg/kg in MP, VE, VC and VCE groups, respectively. Vitamin E retention in liver was 25.9, 53.8, 88.2, 124.5 mg/kg in MP, VC, VE and VCE groups, respectively. These results indicate that supplementation of vitamin C and E to moist pellet diet significantly improved growth and feed efficiency of ollive flounder, and the mixed addition of vitamin C (1,000 mg/kg dry wt.) and vitamin E (220 mg/kg dry wt.) did not lead to the synergy effect.

        In order to evaluate the marine mollusc as foodstuff not only from the biochemical aspect but also from the view point of food science, we have analyzed the protein and amino compositions of the Urechis unicinctus on reproductive cycle. We sampled Urechis unicinctus from January te June, 1999 in Yosu. Urechis unicinctus’s muscle contained about 12.95~16.63% of protein, 0.01~0.47% of fat, 78.93~83.41% of moisture and 2.59~3.48% of ash. The total amino acid compositions change in the muscle of Urechis unicinctus was found to be very similar reproductive cycle of Urechis unicinctus. The major amino acid of Urechis unicinctus’s muscle protein was glutamic acid, glycine, alanine, leucine, and asparactic acid in order.

        식품 중 아스코르빈산 유래 산화방지제의 HPLC 분석법 검증 및 개선

        산화방지제인 아스코르빈산(AA), 에리쏘르빈산(isoAA), 아스코르빌파르미테이트(AP), 아스코르빌스테아레이트(AS) 에 대한 ``식품 중 식품첨가물 분석법``을 검증하고 미비점을 개선하였다. 고속액체크로마토그래피 자외선검출기법을 이용하여 검출한계(LOD), 정량한계(LOQ), 상관계수(R2) 등을 측정하였고 돼지기름(lard), 사이다를 이용한 모델식품에서의 회수율과 재현성을 측정하였다. AA와 isoAA의 검출 한계는 각각 0.46, 0.48 μg/mL이었으며, 회수율은 각각 86.35-94.78, 84.76-95.02%를 나타내었고 상관계수는 모두 0.999이상을 보였다. AP와 AS의 현분석법은 메탄올을 용매로 사용하지만 메탄올 용매에서 AP와 AS는 불안정하였다. 냉장온도에서 에탄올을 용매로 사용시 다른 용매에 비해 유의적으로 높은 안정성을 나타내어 기존 용매의 불안정성을 개선할 수 있었다. Analytical methods for food antioxidants including ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid, ascorbyl palmitate (AP), and ascorbyl stearate (AS), were validated using high performance liquid chromatography. Validation parameters such as linearity, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), and recovery were tested using lard and cider as food model systems. Linearity of ascorbic acid and erythorbic acid were both higher than (R2> 0.99), LOD of these compounds were 0.46 and 0.48 μg/mL, respectively and LOQ were 1.39 and 1.45 μg/mL, respectively. The recovery rates of these compounds were 86.35-94.78% and 84.76-95.02%, respectively. However, the concentration of AP and AS decreased in methanol stock solution. Four other solvents including ethanol, acetonitrile, mixture of methanol and acetonitrile, and mixture of ethanol and acetonitrile were tested to increase the stability of AP and AS under room temperature and refrigerated temperature. Ethanol provided better stability of AP and AS under both room and refrigerated temperature. This study can help to accurately analyze the content of ascorbic acid and its derivatives in processed foods.

      • 참치자즙(煮汁) 분말엑기스를 이용한 조미간장의 제조

        참치자숙액을 원료로 분말엑기스를 제조하여 그 기능특성을 살펴보고, 분말에기스를 주원료로 하는 조미간장을 제조하여 시판간장과의 관능적인 평가에 의하여 그 품질을 비교, 검토하였다. 분말엑기스의 용해도는 100%였다. 분말화한 원료자즙과 분말엑기스의 유화성은 각각 54.0%, 47.7%로 큰 차이는 없었지만 분말엑기스의 유화안정성은 76.6%로 분말화한 원료자즙에 비해 많이 떨어졌다. 포말성과 포말안정성은 분말화한 원료자즙의 경우 약간 있는 정도이고 분말엑기스의 경우는 거의 없었다. 물 100 ml에 식염과 분말엑기스를 각각 5.0 g을 녹인 용액에 시판 양조간장을 10%(v/v) 또는 20%(v/v)를 혼합하여 만든 조미간장은 시판 3종류의 화학간장과 관능적으로 손색이 없었다. The imitation sauce was prepared by using the extract of skipjack cooking juice and its product quality was also compared with three kinds of soy sauce on the market sensually. The extract powder was prepared from a skipjack cooking juice by hydrolyzing with 0.5% protease at 50℃, treating with charcoal, filtering under reduced pressure and drying by spray-dryer. Solubility and emulsifying capacity of the extract powder was 100.0% and 47.4%. From the results of sensory evaluation, the imitation sauce prepared by dissolving the extract powder 5.0g, NaCl 5.0g and a fermented sauce 20ml in water 80 ml was at least equal to three kinds of soy sauce on the market in product quality.

        한국인 심상완동맥 요골측부지에 관한 해부학적 연구

        In the field of reconstructive surgery, the skin flap has played a major role and is continuously developing. The free flap transfer has been used easily with the advent of microvascular surgery. The reconstruction of hand or foot require particular prerequisites such as thin and even flap containing nerve and bone. Since Song(1982) had reported the forearm and upper arm flap, a few clinical experience on upper arm flap has been reported. The upper arm flap was suggested as one of better flap donor sites which satisfies the above mentioned requirements. However, neither the general anatomy textbooks mention about the distribution of upper arm blood vessel in detail nor any domestic reports are available. We observed and analysed the origin and pathway of the deep brachial artery, radial collateral branch(R.C.B.) of deep brachial artery, vena comitans of R.C.B., their diameters at various points, skin flap territories upon dye injection in R.C.B., relationship between R.C.B. and radial nerve, pathway of posterior upper arm cutaneous nerve, by the dissection of 27 adult Korean cavaders(25 : bilateral, 2 : unilateral) and the distance between lateral intermuscular septum and lateral epicondyle was measured from 30 male Korean doctors of Severance Hospital. The results were summerized as follow: 1. Deep brachial artery arose alone from brachial artery in 27 cases(52%), arose from the brachial artery with the superior ulnar collateral branch in 16 cases(30%) and directly from axillrya a. in 4 cases(8%). The diameter at the origin of deep brachial artery was 2.2±0.37mm in average. (range 1.5∼2.7mm) 2. Deep brachial artery wound posteriorly in the spiral groove of the humerus deep to triceps muscle and entered the depths of the lateral intermuscular septum between the deltoid insertion anteriorly and the triceps muscle posteriorly. Radial collateral branch of deep brachial artery proceeded distally in the lateral intermuscular septum between triceps posteriorly and brachialis and brachioradialis muscle anteriorly. 3. The diameters at its pathway of R.C.B. were 1.5±0.27mm(proximal) 1.0±0.29mm(middle), 0.75±0.15mm(distal) in average. 4. The diameter of R.C.B. was bigger in male than in female and right side was also bigger than left. 5. The number of cutaneous branch of R.C.B. was 3.6±0.6 in average.(range3∼5) 6. Diameters of vena comitans of R.C.B. was 1.7±0.20mm(range: 1.2∼2.0mm) 7. Posterior cutaneous nerve of upper arm and foream runs along the R.C.B. but only 34 cases(65%) distributed upper arm exclusively. 8. The cutaneous territory after 2% methylene blue injection in R.C.B. was 8×12cm and long axis of territory was parallel to axis of limb. 9. The distance between ateral intermuscular septum and latleral epicondyle in living adult male was 13.2±0.42cm. (range: 12.5∼14.5cm) 10. Considering above results, the introduction of lateral upper arm flap based on R.C.B. may be an useful adjunct for reconstruction of hand or foot.

        임심 중인 생쥐에서 5 - FLUORO -2'- DEOXYURIDINE(FUdR)혹은 MITOMYCIN C 처리에 의하여 세포유전학적 변화 및 기형발생에 대한 CAFFEINE 의 촉진적 효과

        This study was initiated to evaluate the effects of caffeine on the actions of the DNA synthesis inhibitor, 5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine (FUdR) and the anticancer drug, mitomycin C. FUdR or mitomycin C were injected intraperitoneally to pregnant mice, and caffeine was subcutaneously injected simultaneously. Following conclusions were made from the comparative analyzing the congenital malformations and chromosomal aberrations caused by the drugs used above. 1. The number of viable fetus due to FUdR or mitomycin C was decreased significantly by caffeine. 2. The frequency of external malformations caused by FUdR or mitomycin C treatment increased significantly by caffeine. 3. The occurrence of micronucleus in maternal bone marrow cells and fetal blood cells due to FUdR or mitomycin C treatment increased significantly by caffeine with similar frequency. 4. The mitotic index due to FUdR or mitomycin C was decreased significantly by caffeine treatment, especially in the fetal liver. 5. The frequency of chromosomal aberrations due to FUdR or mitomycin C increased significantly both in the fetal liver and the maternal bone marrow. Therefore, this study suggests that caffeine potentiate the effects of FUdR or mitomycin C for the induction of congenital malformation and chromosomal aberration in the mice.
