        This study is aimed to grasp the factors that have influence on the stress of old parents`` supporters, to seek how to mitigate such stress, and thus to offer the foundations for transcendental theories in developing the programs to reduce the stress. From April to May, 2008, the study conducted a survey targeting the people of 30 years old or older who supported their old parents in some areas of Daegu Metropolitan City, Gimcheon City and Changnyeong-gun. In this connection, 750 questionnaires were distributed, and an analysis was made of the 487 (collect rate: 64.9 %) that had no answer error of the 505 questionnaires collected. In terms of method, trained survey agents read questionnaires back to subjects and then got them answered by the subjects, or distributed and then collected the answered questionnaires. A questionnaire was composed of a total of 62 question items: 10 for general characteristics; 15 and 20 for support consciousness and support burden respectively, as parameters; 17 for support stress as dependent variable. Marks were given to the items of the questionnaires collected, which were analyzed, using t-test analysis, analysis of variance (ANOV A) and multiple regression analysis. The results were summarized as follows. The level of support consciousness was in direct proportion to education level and monthly income. Support burden was laid on women more heavily than men, and its level was in reverse proportion to education level and monthly income. Support stress was felt more by women than men, felt most by full-time housewives of vocation types, and felt more by the women who supported the parents of their husbands. The comprehensive stress by support burden turned out to be statistically significant. Support stress was in direct proportion to support burden. In terms of the relationships between support burden factors, physical support burden was in direct proportion to social support burden. In terms of the relationships between support consciousness and burden, emotional support consciousness was highly associated with emotional support burden. In terms of support stress, old parents`` support itslf was burden, support burden was main factor, and physical or spiritual stress was in direct proportion to physical, social, emotional, or economic stress.

        유아의 음악적 요소 탐색에 관한 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 유아들이 음악적 요소를 어떻게 이해하고 내면화 하는지 그 과정을 알아보는 것이 었다 연구대상은 시에 위치한 유치원 만 세 유아 명이었고 연구기간은 주였다 유아들은 레지오에 밀리아 접근법에 따라 사물놀이 음악활동을 하였다 이 활동에서 유아들의 대화 비디오 및 표상을 기록 하고 분석하였다 이들 결과는 사물놀이에서 유아들의 음악적요소의 내면화가 반영적 사고와 또래 또는 교사와의 상호작용을 통해 더욱 깊어지는 것을 보였다 따라서 이 사실은 레지오에밀리아 접근법을 이용한 사물놀이 활동이 유아들의 음악적 요소의 내면화에 유용하다는 것을 시사한다 The purpose of this study was to explore young children s internalization of musical elements. Nine 5-year-old kindergarten children in Daegu participated in this study for 10 weeks. They participated in Samul Nori activities based on Reggio Emilia Approach. For data analysis, dialogues, video records, and representations were documented during the activities. The results revealed that the young children s internalization of musical elements in response to Samul Nori was further developed through their reflective thinking and interpersonal interactions with their classmates and their teachers. Therefore, this fact suggests that the Samul Nori activities are usful for young children s internalization of musical elements

        아동의 음악 이해에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 아동들이 음악을 듣고 어떻게 이해하고 내면화시키는지 그 과정을 알아보는 것이다. 연구의 대상은 대구시에 위치한 한 유치원의 만4,5세 아동 29명이었고, 그 기간은 8개월이었다. 아동들은 생활 주변에서 들리는 소리나 음악을 순환적 전개를 통해 다양한 매체를 사용하여 표상 하거나 또래나 교사와의 상호 작용하는 프로젝트 활동을 하였고, 교사는 자원과 기록을 하였다. 결과, 아동들은 다양한 반응을 하면서 자신들의 음악적 개념을 반영적 사고를 통해 구성, 재구성하였고 음악에는 서로 다른 느낌이 있으며 또 한 음악 안에도 서로 다른 성격의 음악들이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 이 연구에서 아동들이 다양한 매체를 활용하여 들리는 소리와 음악을 나름대로 표상하고 또래나 교사와의 상호작용에 의해 반영적 사고를 함으로써 자신의 생각을 구성, 재구성해 가는, 그리고 음악을 이해하고 내면화하는 과정을 확인할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the internalization in young children of listening to tones and music. Twenty nine 4 and 5 year old kindergarten children participated in this study for 8 months. They listened to a rotating cycle of tones and songs produced by various mediums. Kindergarten teachers supported and observed the children's responses through representations (talks, pictures, and body motions). The children's feelings in response to the tones and music were documented. The documentations revealed that the children's feelings in response to the tone and music were varied and the children's musical concepts were further developed through their interpersonal interaction in response to the music. Therefore, it could be concluded that the children actively realized the concepts or feelings in music through their reflective thinking and interactions with their classmates and their teachers.

        화용적 능력에 입각한 수능 영어 말하기 문항 분석과 개선 방안

        The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the test items in the speaking section of the College Scholastic Abilities Test validly measure the pragmatic competence of test-takers. This study also makes suggestions for the improvement of these items based on the analysis, so that they can better assess the learners' pragmatic competence in English. The analysis shows that the test items are rather limited in their ability to assess pragmatic competence. Specifically, the test items fail to provide sufficient pragmatic contexts, such as the social and psychological roles of interlocutors and the settings of the dialogues, which are typical of authentic discourses. The discourses are mostly of neutral formality, to the almost complete exclusion of colloquial and formal registers, lacking the diversity of registers observed in natural language use. Suggestions for the improvement of the test items in the speaking section are made, and sample test items are provided.

        지식 정보화 사회를 위한 영유아교사 교육과정의 방향

        The purpose of this study was to explore directions of the curriculums of early childhood departments for prospective teachers in intelligence and information society. In this study, the objects and contents of the curriculums of the departments in this country were investigated and the directions were suggested as follows. First, cultural subjects should be strengthened for whole child education. Second, subjects based on informations and foreign languages for global education had better be involved. Third, subjects related with early childhood's families, their communities, and field-connected practices for professional education should be given.

        영어 지속적 묵독에서 자료유형이 속도와 이해도에 미치는 영향

        This study explores the effects of reading material types in sustained silent reading on Korean EFL learners, focusing on their reading speed and comprehension. Reading materials are divided into four types: longer texts with Korean vocabulary glosses, longer texts without the glosses, short texts, and a mixture of the three text types. For this research, an seven-month-long sustained silent reading program was developed for high school students. The participants were divided into four groups according to the types of reading texts they were to read. The reading rates and reading comprehension were measured before and after the program was implemented. The results were as follows: First, the gain in reading rates was most noticeable in the group reading longer texts with the vocabulary glosses. Second, there was a statistically significant difference in reading comprehension before and after the program was implemented. The group which read a mixture of the three reading text types showed the most remarkable gain in comprehension. The findings of this study suggest the need for further research on the relationship between reading comprehension and reading rates, and how to incorporate sustained silent reading into the reading curriculum.
