In This paper describes on the development of detecting power using Microprocessor. The detecting power system is composed of main controller system and analyzing software. The system detected voltage, current, temperature, leakage current and its saved in ROM. This system applies the 'AT89C52' to CPU and 'AM29F040B' used a memory to save the data.

Direct torque control(DTC) of AC motor has the fast torque and flux dynamic responses even though it has very simple scheme to implement. DTC is also very simple in its implementation because it needs only two hysteresis comparators and switching vector table for both flux and torque control. The amplitude of hysteresis band greatly influences on the drive performance such as flux and torque ripple, switching frequency and current harmonics. Therefore, authors analysis flux and torque hysteresis bands is suggested considering switching frequency and harmonic distortion of currents.

In this paper, describe the magnetic sensor detecting the speed of wire or thin pipe, which move irregularly, using Hysteresis phenomenon. After magnetic field is placed to a metallic object, this magnetic sensor converts residual magnetism into velocity, This magnetic sensor is composed of transmission part that causes magnetism, reception part that detects magnetism, and control part that convert magnetic field intensity into velocity.

This paper describes on the development of power detection system with one-chip microcontroller. The power system is designed to main controller system and analyzing software. The system detected 3-phases voltage, 3-phases current, external temperature, leakage current and store in flash memory. AT89C52 was used as CPU and AM29F040B was used as memory to store the data. The analysis software was developed to detect the cause of the electrical fire incidents. With a data-compression technology, the data can be stored for the 43.5 days in a nominal state, four hours and fifteen minute in a state of emergency.

The input voltage of Single-sided linear induction motors (SLIMs) is involved with the time harmonics because most LIM is driven by inverter. Therefore the equivalent circuit for an inverter-fed SLIM has t o be modifided to represent every harmonic present in supply voltage. This paper describes that the dynamic characteristic can be used effectively for analyzing the characteristics of a single-sided linear induction motor using vector driver for PI controller.

A single phase induction motor(SPIM) with two windings, main and auxiliary, is probably the most widely used motor in the world due to their ruggedness, low maintenance and simplicity of construction There are several ways of starting single phase motors The most popular arrangements is centrifugal switch An auxiliary winding connected in series with a capacitor, is brought into the circuit during starting The closing and opening of the switch must be speed dependant The switch meets the speed requirements, but it also has many drawback random switching, arcing, many models necessary for different speeds and shaft diameters, space required inside the motors and limited lifetime to name some of them. In this paper, the starting current of single phase induction motor was detected by a small detector and determined TRIAC gate signal. The strategy of current control is based on limited main and auxiliary current angle during starting period in the closed-loop control. The experimental result show the motor's starting characteristics of the proposal starting system and are compared with centrifugal switch starting motor.
