대학생의 정서·성격적 진로문제와 진로결정자기효능감의 관계에서 문제해결력의 매개효과

본 연구는 대학생의 정서·성격적 진로문제와 진로결정자기효능감의 관계에서 문제해결력의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 서울, 경기, 충청, 강원 지역 소재의 7개 대학에 재학 중인 357명의 대학생을 대상으로 정서·성격적 진로문제 척도, 문제해결력 척도, 진로결정자기효능감 척도를 활용하여 자료를 수집한 후, 단순회귀분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하고, 매개효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 대학생의 정서·성격적 진로문제는 문제해결력, 진로결정자기효능감과 각각 유의미한 부적 상관이 있고, 문제해결력과 진로결정자기효능감은 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 정서·성격적 진로문제와 진로결정자기효능감의 관계에서 문제해결력은 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 정서·성격적 진로문제가 진로결정자기효능감에 직접적인 영향과 더불어 문제해결력을 매개로 진로결정자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 연구결과를 토대로, 대학생의 정서·성격적진로문제, 진로결정자기효능감, 문제해결력 간의 영향관계를 확인하고, 대학생의 진로상담에서 정서·성격적 진로문제와 문제해결력의 중요성을 환기시켰다는 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of problem-solving ability on the relationship between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy among college students. For this purpose, data were collected and analyzed based on 357 college students from 7 colleges in Korea using the emotional and personality career difficulties scale, problem solving inventory, and career decision-making self-efficacy scale-short form. The results from this study are as follows: First, there was a negative correlation between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy; a negative correlation between emotional and personality career difficulties and problem-solving ability; and a positive correlation between problem-solving ability and career decision-making self-efficacy among college students. Second, problem-solving ability had a partial mediating effect on the relation between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy. Implications and study limitations as well as suggestions for further research are discussed.

이 연구의 목적은 진로상담에서 정서·성격적 진로문제에 대한 연구들이 국내·외에서 어떻게 진행되고 있는지 그 동향을 살펴보고, 효과적인 진로상담을 위해 내담자의 정서·성격적 진로문제를 이해하는데 필요한 추후 연구의 방향을 제언하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2007년부터 2016년 6월까지 발표된 32편의 국내·외 연구물을 대상으로 기초사항, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구방법, 연구내용을 기준으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 정서·성격적 진로문제에 대한 연구들은 2000년대 후반부터 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 국내에서는 2012년 이후 급속히 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 주로 대학생을 대상으로 연구되고 있으며 이스라엘, 미국, 중국을 중심으로 연구되고 있으나 연구의 수가 제한적이었다. 둘째, 연구주제는 변인간 관계 연구가 가장 많았고 척도개발 연구, 개관 연구 순으로 많았다. 또한, 대부분 양적연구 방법으로 연구되고 있었으며, 질적연구만을 사용한 경우는 찾아보기 어려웠다. 셋째, 정서·성격적 진로문제의 구성요인은 연구마다 요인 수와 내용에 있어 차이가 나타났으며, 정서·성격적 진로문제는 주로 진로결정수준과의 관계를 알아보는 연구가 이루어지고 있었다. 또한 애착, 진로결정수준등의 변인과 정서·성격적 진로문제를 기준으로 군집분석 연구가 수행되고 있었다. 이후 이러한 연구결과를 통해 진로상담에서 정서·성격적 진로문제에 대한 효과적인 개입을 위한 추후 연구의 나아갈 방향에 대해 제언하였다. The purpose of this study was to review the domestic and foreign research trends of emotional and personality-related career decision-making difficulties. A total of 32 articles were analyzed based on basics, objects, theme, methods and content. Results were as follows. (1)The number of career counseling studies on emotional and personality-related career decision-making difficulties has been increasing steadily since 2000. (2)Most studies were empirical based and used statistical analytic methods with quantitative data. (3)±ere is a wide variability in the constructs and number of factors associated with the various scales measuring emotional and personality-related career decision-making difficulties. Lastly, the meaning of these findings and suggestions for further research is discussed.
