국내,외 실행기능의 향상을 위한 프로그램(중재) 동향 분석

본 연구는 국내·외의 실행기능 향상에 관련된 중재와 프로그램을 적용한 연구들을 중심으로 동향을 살펴보고, 이효신(2003)이 제시한 교육적 중재의 4가지 질적 지표를 근거로 실행기능의 프로그램을 비교, 분석하였다. 대상논문은 1998년 1월에서부터 2010년 1월까지 약 12년 동안 발표된 연구 논문 중 국내 9편, 국외 10편 등 총 19편의 논문을 대상으로 하였다. 분석대상 논문은 전문 학술지DB를 통하여 학회지 및 학술논문으로 연구자, 연도, 연구방법, 적용 프로그램의 내용 및 절차별로 요약하였고, 실행기능 보상을 위한 중재의 4가지 근거에 따라 비교, 분류하였다. 분석결과, 대부분이 신경심리학 저널, 정신병리학 관련 저널이었으며, 일부 연구가 자폐 및 발달장애 저널, 노인학, 의사소통 그리고 재활과 관련된 저널 등으로 다양하게 나타났다. 연구대상은 ADHD, 고기능 자폐, 자폐성장애, 일반유아, 노인, 후천성뇌손상(TBI) 등으로 다양하게 나타났다. 프로그램의 내용 및 절차에서는 집단 활동 프로그램이 많았으며, 그림책이나 활동지, 컴퓨터 등을 적용한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 인지-행동 접근과 반복적인 훈련을 통하여 인지를 유연하게 하는 프로그램 순으로 나타났다. 실행기능 보상을 위한 중재의 4가지를 근거에 따른 분류결과에서는 ADHD, 고기능자폐, 일반유아, 노인질환 등은 인지-행동접근의 프로그램이 적용되었으며, 후천성뇌손상(TBI)의 경우, 유연성 훈련 접근 프로그램이 적용된 것으로 나타났다. This study looks into local and international studies applying interventions and programs on improvement of body function, as well as compares and analyzes four interventions for functional compensation according to basis quality indicators. This study examines total 19 journals including nine local ones and 10 international ones, published during 12 years between January of 1998 to January of 2010. The examined papers, which are reports of academy and scientific journals in DB of professional journals, were summarized according to researcher, published year, study method, and contents and procedure of applied programs as well as they were compared and analyzed based on four bases of interventions. According to analysis, some journals are devoted to various fields such as autism and developmental disability, gereology, communication and rehabilitation, while most of the papers are about neuropsychology and psychopathology. They variously examine patients suffering from ADHD, high functioning autism, autistic disorder and TBI, normal infant and the senile. There are lots of group activity program in the contents and procedure of the programs which applied picture books, papers of activity, computers and so on. In particular, the most frequently used program is cognition-behavior approach followed by a program making cognition flexible through continuous training. According to the result of four bases of intervention for functional compensation, ADHD, high functioning autism, normal infant and morbus senilis utilized cognition-behavior approach while for TBI flexibility training approach programs was capitalized on.
OMC-2010 구성약재 배합추출물 투여가 Ovalbumin으로 유도한 마우스 알레르기성 기관지 천식에 미치는 영향

Objectives: We recently have reported that constituents of OMC-2010 have an immuno-modulatory effects via inhibiting tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha and interleukin (IL)-5. In this study, based on previous data, we investigated the effects of combinations with each OMC constituents on splenocyte cytotoxicity, cytokine productions, and ovalbumin (OVA) induced experimental allergic asthma. Methods: Mouse splenocytes were pre-treated with ethanol extract of constituents of Rehmannia glutinosa (RG), Pinellia ternata (PT), Schisandra chinensis (SC). We made 4 combinations using RG, PT, and SC (A;1:1:1, B;2:1:1, C;1:2:1, D;1:1:2). The cells were pretreated with A, B, C, or D for 1 h, then stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS, 1 ㎍/ml) for 48 h. Then the cells were harvested for real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction to detect cytokine productions. Then using effective combination from RG, PR and SC, we administrated the combination orally, then challenged with OVA to induce asthma. Then we analyzed the airway hyper-reactivity (AHR), lung histology and lung TNF-α and IL-5 mRNA. Results: A. B. C. and D did not showed significant cytotoxicity on splenocytes. Pre-treatment of A inhibited the expression of TNF-α and IL-5 significantly, but not B, C, and D. In experimental asthma, administration of A significantly inhibited the increase of AHR, lung damage, TNF-α and IL-5 expression. Conclusions: Theses results could suggest that inhibitory effects of the ideal combination with RG, PT and SC (1:1:1) could be applied to treatment of asthma and study of asthma mechanisms.
급성췌장염 마우스 모델에서 지실과 지각 추출물의 보호효과

Objective : We investigated the effect of Poncirus trifoliata and Citrus aurantium extract in mice with cerulein-induced acute pancreatitis (AP) model. Methods : AP was induced via intraperitoneal injection of cerulein (50 ㎍/kg) given every hour for 6h. Poncirus trifoliata (PT: 200 or 400 ㎎/kg) and Citrus aurantium (CA: 200 or 400 ㎎/kg) extract were injected 1 h before in mice with cerulein-induced AP. Mice were sacrificed at 6 h after last injection of cerulein. Blood samples were taken to determine serum amylase and lipase levels. The pancreas and lungs were rapidly removed for morphological examination, myeloperoxidase assay. Results : PT pre-treatment significantly protected the pancreas and lung damages and reduced the MPO activity and serum amylase in cerulein-induced AP. However, CA pre-treatment did not significantly protected the pancreas and lung inflammation in cerulein-induced AP. Conclusion : These results suggest that PT but not CA could protect the cerulein-induced AP.
금은화 물추출물의 항산화 효과와 Ultraviolet(UV)B로 유도된 사람 각질형성세포 손상에 대한 보호효과

Objectives : Lonicerae japonicae Flos(LJF) has been reported to exhibit anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-rheumatoid properties. However, it is still largely unknown whether LJF inhibits the ultraviolet(UV)B-induced oxidative damage in human HaCaT keratinocytes. Therefore in this paper, we investigated the anti-oxidative capacity and protective effect of LJF against UVB-induced oxidative demage in human HaCaT keratinocytes. Methods : To evaluate the anti-oxidative activity of LJF extracts, we measured total phenolic contents, total flavonoid contents, antioxidant capacity, and superoxide scavenging activity. To give an oxidative stress to HaCaT cells, UVB was irradiated with 200 mJ/㎠ to HaCaT cells. To detect the protective effect of LJF against UVB, we measured cell viability, DNA fragmentation and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. In addition, we performed high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis to find a major component of LJF. Results : LJF contained phenolic and flavonoid contents, and showed the anti-oxidant and superoxide scavenging activity. The UVB-induced oxidative conditions led to the cell death, DNA fragmentation and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. However, pretreatment with LJF reduced oxidative conditions, including inhibition of cell death, DNA fragmentation and ROS production. In addition, we found out chlorogenic acid as major component of LJF. Conclusions : These results could suggest that LJF contained anti-oxidative contents and exhibited protective effects against UVB on human HaCaT keratinocytes. And the effective compound of LJF which could show protective activities against UVB is chlorogenic acid. Thus, LJF and chlorogenic acid would be useful for the development of drug or cosmetics treating skin troubles.
LPS로 유도한 RAW 264.7 세포의 염증반응에서 흰민들레의 항염증 효과

Objectives : Taraxacum coreanum (TC) have been used as a traditional medicine to treat inflammatory diseases and anti-oxidant effect in Korea. However, the anti-inflammatory effect of TC water extract on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammation is not well-known. Therefore, this study was performed to identify the anti-inflammatory effect of TC on LPS induced inflammatory. Methods : RAW 264.7 cells were treated with 500 ng/mL of LPS. Water extracts of TC (0.1, 0.25, 0.5 mg/ml) was treated 1 h prior to LPS. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. Levels of nitric oxide (NO) were measured with Griess reagent and pro-inflammatory cytokines were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and real-time polymerase chain reaction (real-time PCR). We also examined molecular mechanisms such as mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) and nuclear factor-B (NF-κB) activation by western blot. Results : Water Extract from TC itself did not have any cytotoxic effect in RAW 264.7 cells. TC treatment inhibited the production of NO production, and pro-inflamamtory cytokines such as interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-1β on protein and mRNA levels. In addition, TC treatment inhibited the LPS-induced activation of MAPKs such as extracellular signal-regulated kinase1/2 (ERK1/2), p38 kinases (p38), c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) and NF-κB. Conclusions : In summary, our result suggest that treatment of TC could reduce the LPS-induced inflammation. Thereby, TC could be used as a protective agent against inflammation. Also, this study could give a clinical basis that TC could be a drug or agent to prevent inflammation.

Objectives : Commiphora myrrha (CM) has been used in traditional medicine for treating disease such as obesity, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, diabetes and osteoarthritis. However, the protective effects of CM on acute pancreatitis (AP) has not been reported. Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the protective effects of CM water extract on cerulein-induced AP. Methods : AP was induced in mice via intraperitoneal injection of supramaximal concentrations of the stable cholecystokinin analogue cerulein (50 μg/kg) every hour for 6 times. Water extract of CM (0.1, 0.2, or 0.5 g/kg) was administrated intraperitoneally 1 h prior to the first injection of cerulein. The mice were killed at 6 h after the final cerulein injection. Pancreas was rapidly removed for morphologic and histochemical examination, myeloperoxidase (MPO) assay. Blood samples were taken to determine serum amylase and lipase activities. Results : Administration of CM significantly inhibited pancreatic weight/body weight ratio, pancreas histological injury. And CM administration inhibited the serum digestive enzyme elevation such as amylase and lipase on cerulein-induced pancreatitis. In addition, Pancreas MPO activity which indicates neutrophil infiltration was inhibited by CM extract on cerulein-induced pancreatitis. Conclusions : In conclusion, our results could suggest that pre-treatment of CM reduces the severity of cerulein-induced AP. Therefore, CM could be used as a protective agent against AP. Also, this study could give a clinical basis that CM could be a drug or agent to prevent AP.
