          열자극 탈분극전류 방법에 의한 BaTiO<sub>3</sub>의 분극 특성 연구

          The polarization properties of $BaTiO_3$ were investigated by using thermally stimulated depolarization current (TSDC) technique. Two peaks were observed at about 400 K (peak A) and 435 K (peak B) from TSDC spectra obtained from the temperature range of 280-500 K. Peak A shows a sharp decrease of TSDC due to extinction of spontaneous polarization above the phase transition temperature of $BaTiO_3$. The values of activation energy of peak A and peak B were calculated to be 0.70 eV and 0.87 eV respectively. From the results of TSDC measurement with a variation of polarizing electric field strength, we found that saturation of total current of TSDC was started from 3kV/cm. However, the amount of total current of TSDC was not affected by the variation of polarizing time.

          습식 분무 열분해 방법으로 제조한 코발트 도핑된 티타늄 산화막의 표면 및 광학적 특성

          Titanium dioxide films $(TiO_2)$ doped cobalt transition metal were prepared on titanium metal by water spray pyrolysis technique. Micro-morphology, crystalline structure, chemical composition and binding state of sample groups were evaluated using field emission scanning microscope(FE-SEM), X-ray diffractometer(XRD), Raman spectrometer, X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS). $TiO_2$ films of rutile structure were predominately formed on all sample groups and $Ti_2O_3$ oxide was coexisted on the surface of cobalt doped-sample groups. The optical absorption peaks measured by using UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer were observed at specific wavelength region in sample groups doped cobalt ion. This result could be analyzed by introducing crystal field theory.

          홍화가 위장관 카할간질세포에 미치는 효과

          The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Carthami Flos on interstitial cells of Cajal in the gastrointestinal tract. Many regions of the tunica muscularis of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract display spontaneous contraction. These spontaneous contractions are mediated by periodic generation of electrical slow waves. Recent studies have shown that the interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs) act as pacemakers and conductors of electrical slow waves in gastrointestinal smooth muscles. We investigated the cytotoxicity activity, antioxidant activity, and pacemaking activity. The cytotoxicity activity was measured by MTT (3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay. Antioxidant activities were determined by DPPH (1.1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging capacity assay and DCFH-DA (2,7-dichlorofluorescein diacetate) method. The effects of Carthami Flos on the pacemaker potentials in cultured ICCs from murine small intestine were investigated by using whole-cell patch-clamp techniques at 30℃. The addition of Carthami Flos (5, 10, 30 μg/ml) depolarized the resting membrane potentials in a concentration dependent manner. These results suggest that the GI tract can be targets for Carthami Flos, and their interaction can affect intestinal motility.

          한국삼(韓國蔘)과 중국삼(中國蔘)의 품질 비교 연구

          Objctive: To clarify the criterion, the characteristic of varaious age of ginseng radix cultivated in Korea and China were studied. Method: The surface of the transverse section of the specimen was made into a slid by the Paraffin Section method, and then dyed by Safranine Malachite Green method. The samples were observed at the power of 400 by an optic microscope(Olympus, Japan). The component and flavor of ginseng radix were analyzed by TLC(Thinlayer Chromatography) and electronic nose(FOX3000, France). Result: Ginseng radix according to the growing district and various age were comparative analyzed by optic microscope, TLC and electronic nose. The results were as followings. 1. The external form of Korean ginseng is longer and brightness then Chinese ginseng. 2. The internal form of Korean and Chinese ginseng are similar to each other. 3. The component of Korean and Chinese ginseng in TLC are similar to each other. 4. The fragrance of Korean and Chinese ginseng are clearly different. Conclusion: The results in this study demonstrate that morphology and component of Korean ginseng are similar to Chinese, on the other hand, fragrance of Korean and Chinese ginseng are different.

          Serine 칼륨염 수용액의 이산화탄소 흡수특성

          지구온난화 원인물질인 이산화탄소의 신규 흡수제로 serine 칼륨염을 제안하였고, serine 칼륨염의 이산화탄소 흡수특성을 monoethanolamine(MEA)의 결과와 비교하고 평가하였다. 비분산적외선 방식의 CO₂ 분석기를 장착한 스크리닝 장치와 흡수평형 측정장치를 이용하여 각 흡수제의 CO₂ 흡수/탈거 성능을 속도론적·양적으로 분석하였다 Serine 칼륨염의 유효 CO₂ 부하능은 0.425로써 MEA의 0.230보다 거의 두 배나 높았으며, cyclic capacity는 각각 0.354와 0.298로써 serine 칼륨염이 더 우수하였다. 한편 serine 칼륨염의 반응속도는 CO₂ 부하능이 0.1 이상에서 급격히 감소하여 MEA의 절반을 유지하였다. 흡수속도 증대를 위해 반응 촉진제로 piperazine과 tetraethylenepentamine을 혼합한 결과 각 경우 포화 CO₂ 부하능이 13.7%, 18.7% 증대되었다 Serine의 카르복실기에 서로 다른 종류의 금속을 치환하였을 때(Li+, Na,+ K+), serine 칼륨염의 CO₂ 흡수량이 나트륨염과 리륨염에 비해 각각 29.2%. 35.0% 높았다. 비슷한 기본구조를 가진 아미노산인 valine과 isoleucine 칼륨염의 흡수실험 결과, 벌키한 side group의 영향으로 인해 흡수속도가 serine 칼륨염에 비해 다소 느렸다. 반응 중 발생하는 침전과 이의 긍정적 이용 방법을 문현에 근거하여 제안하였다. Aqueous potassium salt of serine was proposed as an alternative CO₂ absorbent to monoethanolamine (MEA) and its CO₂ absorption characteristics were studied. The experiment has been conducted using screening test equipment with NDIR type gas analyzer and vapor-liquid equilibrium apparatus. CO₂ absorption/desorption rate and net amount of CO₂ absorbed in cyclic process are the criteria to assess the CO₂ absorption characteristics in this study. Effective CO₂ loading of potassium salt of serine and MEA are 0.425 and 0.230 respectively. Cyclic capacities are 0.354 and 0.298 for potassium salt of serine and MEA. The absorption rate of the potassium serinate decreased sharply at CO₂ loading is 0.1 and were maintained approximately at half of MEA. To enhance the absorption rate of aqueous potassium salt of serine, small quantities of rate promoters, namely piperazine and tetraethylenepentamine were blended, so that rich CO₂ loading were increased by 13.7% and 18.7% respectively. The rich CO₂ loading of potassium salt of serine was 29.2% and 35.0% higher than those of aqueous sodium and lithium salt of serine, respectively. The absorption rate of potassium salt of valine and isoleucine which have similar molecular structures to serine were lower than that of serine because of the presence of bulky side group. Precipitation phenomena during CO₂ absorption were discussed by the aid of literatures.

          Evaluation of Classification and Accuracy in Chest X-ray Images using Deep Learning with Convolution Neural Network

          본 연구에서는 CNN과 빅데이터 기술을 이용한 Deep Learning을 통해 흉부 X-ray 영상 분류 및 정확성 연구에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 총 5,873장의 흉부 X-ray 영상에서 Normal 1,583장, Pneumonia 4,289장을 사용하였다. 데이터 분류는 train(88.8%), validation(0.2%), test(11%)로 분류하였다. Convolution Layer, Max pooling layer pool size 2×2, Flatten layer, Image Data Generator로 구성하였다. Convolution layer가 3일 때와 4일 때 각각 filter 수, filter size, drop out, epoch, batch size, 손실함수 값을 설정하였다. test 데이터로 Convolution layer가 4일 때, filter 수 64-128-128-128, filter size 3×3, drop out 0.25, epoch 5, batch size 15, 손실함수 RMSprop 으로 설정 시 정확도가 94.67%였다. 본 연구를 통해 높은 정확성으로 분류가 가능하였으며, 흉부 X-ray 영상뿐만 아니라 다른 의료영상에서도 많은 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was learning about chest X-ray image classification and accuracy research through Deep Learning using big data technology with Convolution Neural Network. Normal 1,583 and Pneumonia 4,289 were used in chest X-ray images. The data were classified as train (88.8%), validation (0.2%) and test (11%). Constructed as Convolution Layer, Max pooling layer size 2×2, Flatten layer, and Image Data Generator. The number of filters, filter size, drop out, epoch, batch size, and loss function values were set when the Convolution layer were 3 and 4 respectively. The test data verification results showed that the predicted accuracy was 94.67% when the number of filters was 64-128-128-128, filter size 3×3, drop out 0.25, epoch 5, batch size 15, and loss function RMSprop was 4. In this study, the classification of chest X-ray Normal and Pneumonia was predictable with high accuracy, and it is believed to be of great help not only to chest X-ray images but also to other medical images.

        • 홍화가 인체 대장암세포에 미치는 효과

          Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-cancer effects of Carthami Flos in some kinds of human colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. Method : We used two kinds of human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell lines, such as HT-29 and WiDr cells. We examined cell death by MTT assay and observed the morphological changes with Carthami Flos. Result : We showed that the combination of sub-optimal doses of Carthami Flos and cisplatin noticeably suppresses in HT-29 cells and doxorubicin in WiDr cells. Furthermore, we studied the caspase 3 activity to identify the apoptosis. Conclusion : Our findings provide insight into unraveling the effects of Carthami Flos in human colorectal adenocarcinoma cells and developing therapeutic agents against colorectal cancer.

          조등산(Diaoteng-san, Choto-san, 釣藤散)과 GB34(陽陵泉) 전침치료를 활용한 약인성파킨슨증후군 환자의 증례 1례

          Drug-induced Parkinsonism is the most frequently observed type among the cases of secondary Parkinsonism. Besides typical parkinsonian symptoms, such as tremor, rigidity and bradykinesia, drug-induced Parkinsonism manifests with additional simultaneous symptoms like orobuccolingual dyskinesia, mixed type of tremor (resting, action), and symmetry of expressions. We present a case of drug-induced Parkinsonism, affected by taking the antiulcer drug cimetidine. Jodeung-san extract (Choto-san, Tsumura Co. 10) was administered for 7 days and acupuncture (electronic, auricular, pharmacopuncture) was conducted 3 times. The clinical outcomes were then evaluated through the patient's global impression of change, visual analogue scale, and Hoehn and Yahr stage. After the treatment, the clinical features, such as tremor and orobuccolingual dyskinesia, disappeared. The combination of Jodeung-san and electro-acupuncture at GB34 could therefore be a remedy for the patients with drug-induced Parkinsonism.

          마우스 만성 췌장염 모델에서 연교(連翹)와 현호색(玄胡索) 단일 추출물 및 추출 혼합물의 보호 효과

          Objectives : Forsythiae Fructus has been reported to have anti-inflammatory effects in many diseases, and Corydalis Tuber has been used as a pain suppressor in Eastern Asia. However, the protective effects of individual water extract of Forsythiae Fructus (FF) and Corydalis Tuber (CT) and the mixture of FF and CT (FC) on chronic pancreatitis (CP) were not well-investigated. Therefore, we investigated the protective effects of FF, CT, and FC on CP in mice. Methods : To induce CP, cerulein was injected 6 times a day, 4 times a week for 3 weeks. 1 h before the every cerulein injection, 200 ㎎/㎏ of FF, CT, or FC was intraperitoneally injected to mice. Histological analysis of pancreas was examined by hematoxylin and eosin stain and collagen deposition was examined by Masson’s trichrome stain. Fibrogenic parameters such as α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition, and fibrotic cytokines such as transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) were also analyzed by immunofluorescence stain and real-time PCR. Results : Histological damages in pancreas were inhibited by pre-treatment of FF or FC but not CT. α-SMA and ECM in pancreas were inhibited by pre-treatment of CT or FC but not FF. Moreover, the expression of TGF-β1 and PDGF in pancreas were inhibited by FF, CT or FC. Conclusions : Our results suggest that FC have protective effect on CP in mice through inhibition of α-SMA, ECM, TGF-β1 and PDGF in pancreas, and these findings could suggest new clinical strategy for CP.
