The popularity of the diesel engine revolves around its fuel efficiency, reliability, and durability compared to the gasoline engine. However, the main disadvantage of diesel engine is the emission of particulate matter (PM) which is known as carcinogenic substance. Therefore recent progress in engine management and after-treatment systems has led to great improvement to satisfy strict emission regulations.<br/> To comply with powerful environment regulations, this study is focused on the decrease of PM(soot) as to increase significantly exhaust temperature. Therefore, HC injection is used as the method to go to the PM regeneration temperature in front of filters composed of diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) and diesel particulate filter(DPF). And especially, LPG is used because it has good chemical reactions with exhaust.<br/> In this study we could manufacture the test bench thought LPG injection - with which soot can be decreased-, construct 3 kinds of database(DB) according to quantity of temperature to decide the LPG injection quantity and develop DPF ECU algorithm.
친환경 자동차용 Battery HILS 개발에 관한 연구

The development of technology for green cars such as Plug-in HEVs and EVs is increasingly activated according to the conversion of vehicle development paradigm to energy issues, environmental regulations, and government"s New Deal policies, etc. As a result, the importance of the battery system that is the main power sources of the green car has emerged. The most effective way is an using the Battery HILS(Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation) to significantly reduce development costs and time in vehicle-level environmental for development and evaluation of a battery system including BMS(Battery Management System). Therefor, this study introduces the domestic and international development trends and development practices for Battery HILS and describes the process, verification of the Battery HILS and the utilization using the Battery HILS.

본 논문은 VRLA 배터리와 Ultra-Capacitor 모듈을 이용한 복합형 에너지 저장시스템에서 우수한 출력 특성을 가진 Ultra-Capacitor 모듈의 SOC를 정확하게 산출하고 보정하는 알고리즘을 소개하고, 마일드 하이브리드 자동차(MHEV)의 운행 조건을 모사한 사이클 프로파일과 차량 시뮬레이터 장비를 활용하여, 제안된 알고리즘의 유용성을 확인하였다.
