The purpose of the study is the spatial characteristics analysis of crime occurrence place for ensuring a safe living environment in Bukgu, Daegu metropolitan city. Study area has covered Bukgu, Daegu metropolitan city that’s crime rate as high as 4th in the country recent 10 years .It used CCTV DB, spatial characteristic of the crime occurrence place, and spatial analysis. The method of this study used nearest analysis, spatial join and calculate area using Geographic Information Systems. The results were as follows 1) To understand the vulnerable places on crime through the spatial patterns and CCTV database of crime. 2) About 81.1 percent of the Bukgu’s total area was a necessary CCTV space. 3) For this reason, it is necessary that the 418 units CCTV is installed in addition. It is meaning that they provide the basic data in order to ensure the safety living environment of citizens by empirical analysis of the spatial characteristics of the crime occurrence place.
도시거주성 증진을 위한 미세먼지(PM10) 분포 추이에 관한 연구

The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between air pollution(PM10) and land used patterns during recent 10 years. Study area has covered all area in Daegu and unit of spatial analysis was administrative dong. This study used spatial interpolation method including local trend surface model, IDW(Inverse Distance Weighted). Top 15 dong of pm10 values in Daegu 139 administrative dong was Jukjeon-dong, Gosan 3 dong, Bisan 1·5·7 dong, Jisan 1·2 dong, Pyeongni 3·4·5·6 dong, Nowon dong, Naedang 4 dong, Sangjungi dong, Ansim 1 dong. It was Daegu dyeing industrial and West daegu industrial complex association around the area. Especially in Bisan 1·5 dong, Pyeongni3·5 dong of high contamination density region, population density is relatively high, it is possible that many people at risk of PM10 high concentration. Based on overlay analysis techniques with pm10 values and land used patterns, residential, commercial, industrial area belonged to areas with high air pollution(PM10) concentration. On the other hand, in the case of the region is not a city of the region, it was less relatively air pollution concentration. Therefore, the study was possible to obtain a reslut of increased levels of PM10 concentration by process of development caused when the city has evolved or use characteristics.
