        탄성밴드를 이용한 저항운동이 제2형 당뇨병 노인여성의 당화혈색소 및 인슐린 저항성에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to investigate the effect of elastic band training on glycated hemoglobin, insulin resistance of the elderly female patients with type 2 diabetes. 24 elderly females with type 2 diabetes diagnosed by internists, who are participating in the health care program hosted by K city community health center, were randomly assigned into two groups. Informed consents were submitted voluntarily by all the subjects, and some subjects with oral hypoglycaemic agent were allowed to take it as directed for 12 weeks. Arterial bold sampling was carried out on the vein of the forearm by a medical technologist after 12-hour fasting. The blood was analyzed by S Clinical Center in U city. The elastic band training were applied for 60 minutes, three times a week during 12 weeks within 12-15(HRR 60~80%) of Borg’s rating scales of perceived exertion (RPE, 15-point scale). Glycated hemoglobin, insulin resistance were tested before and after the training through blood examination. The data was analyzed with SPSS 18.0 by analysis of covariance, and the signification level was .05. In conclusion, the resistance training with elastic band had a positive effect on the level of glycated hemoglobin and insulin resistance. It is believed that the resistance training with elastic band is helpful in type 2 diabetes management.

        척수손상장애인에 있어 탄성밴드운동이 과산화지질(MDA) 및 항산화효소(SOD, GPX) 농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of gradual resistance exercise for the persons with spinal cord injuries by using elastic band on the lipoperoxide(MDA) and anti-oxidant enzyme(SOD and GPX). The current study took random assignment into exercise group (n=14) and non-exercise group (n-7) from 21 people with spinal cord injuries among the users in a rehabilitation center for the disabled located in K city. As the types of disability of subjects, there were 10 from traffic accidents, 9 from industrial disasters, 2 from falling accidents and 2 from sport injuries. The exercise group carried out the elastic band exercise program three 60 minutes a day, times a week for 12 weeks; the exercise intensity was 12~15 (10-RM) of 20-point scale of ratings of perceived exertion (RPE). The non-exercise group maintained routine during the program. The measuring items before and after the exercise were analyzed to derive MDA generation and the concentration of SOD and GPX. SPSS 14.0 was used for the data analysis, the difference verification between groups was analyzed by ANCOVA with preliminary values as covariates, and the significance level was conducted at .05. The results gained through the above research process are as follow. In the change among groups, the generation of MDA was shown to be significantly decreased, compared to the control group; GPX of the exercise group was significantly higher than that of the control group. In conclusion, it’s proved that the elastic band exercise conducted with the exercise intensity of 12~15 in the ratings of perceived exertion (RPE) had positive influence on the MDA generation and the density of anti-oxidant enzyme of the persons with spinal cord injuries.

        복합운동프로그램이 비만 초등학생의 혈중지질, 성장호르몬 및 인슐린유사성장인자<SUP>-1</SUP>에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to determine the effects that combined exercise programs have on the blood lipids, growth hormones, and insulin-like growth factor 1 of obese elementary school children. This study randomly assigned 20 obese male children with a body fat percentage of 25% and more among new participants in the ‘child health behavior improvement service’ promoted by the Community Service Investment Program of J University and the K Office of Education into two groups (exercise group: 10 participants, control group: 10 participants). The combined exercise program of this study was an exercise program that combined aerobic exercise and resistance exercise and the exercise group participated in the program 60 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for 12 weeks and the control group maintained their daily routine. The combined exercise program included warm-up exercises and cool-down exercises for 10 minutes each, aerobic exercises for 20 minutes using a 2 person pedal bike maintaining a range between 50~70%HRR, and band exercises for 20 minutes maintaining a 12-15 on Borg’s rating of perceived exertion scale (RPE, 15-point scale). Measurement items before and after exercise were blood lipids (TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C), GH, and IGH-1 and data analysis of this study was conducted using SPSS 18.0 and ANCOVA. Research results gained through these research procedures were as follows. With regard to changes in blood, GH, and IGH-1 following combined exercise, the exercise group displayed positive changes in TC, TG, GH, and IGF-1.

        12주간의 하타요가 운동이 본태성 고혈압 고령여성의 혈압 및 혈관탄성도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of 12 weeks Hata yoga exercise on the blood pressure and vascular compliance in elderly women with essential hypertension. Twenty elderly women with essential hypertension diagnosed by the Korean Society of Hypertension were recruited from new participants who joined exercise class for chronic disease held at a public health center in K city. During the study, subjects performed the exercise for 60 minutes a day, three times a week for a total of 12 weeks within the scope of RPE 11-15. Blood pressure and blood vessel compliance of the forearm and the pelvic limb were measured. The results obtained from the above research procedures were as follow. For any change of blood pressure and vascular compliance associated with the 12weeks Hata yoga program, which lasted for 60 days with an exercise intensity within the scope of RPE 11-15 a day, it was discovered that a reduction of PWV of the systolic blood pressure in the left hand and right foot of the exercise group brought about a positive change in the increase of blood vessel compliance. The above result implies that 12weeks Hata yoga program has positive changes on blood pressure and vascular compliance at stability in older women with hypertension.

        배구선수의 선수성숙과 자기관리 및 자신감의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to verify the relationship among maturity, self-management and sport confidence on Volleyball player. In compliance with the purpose, the nationwide volleyball players were set as population, and 425 copies of data were collected utilized in study, using of random sampling method. To comply with the purpose, the construct validity and the reliability of measured data were verified by using of SPSS 18.0 & AMOS 18.0 program. In addition, for the relationship among maturity, self-management and sport confidence, the difference between self-management and sport confidence according to the level of maturity were analyzed by Independent T test and One way ANOVA with SPSS 18.0 program, and the relationships among the related factors were analyzed by covariance structure analysis. The results were as follows: First, for the difference between self-management and sport confidence, according to the level of maturity. Second, maturity had positive effect on self-management. Third, maturity had positive effect on sport confidence. Forth, self-management had positive effect on sport confidence.

        카페인을 도포한 기능성테이핑과 요부근력강화운동이 요부질환자들의 신체구성, 요부근력 및 통증에 미치는 영향

        This study was to investigate the effects of the functional taping that applied caffeine for the muscle strength exercise by the body composition, lumbar strength, and the change of pain for lumbar disease patients. First, there was no significant difference in each groups for the verification of body composition with the functional taping that applied caffeine for the patients with lumbar disease. Second, there was a significant difference on the verification of lumbar strength before and after the research program with the functional taping that applied caffeine for the patients with lumbar disease. Third, there was a significant difference on the verification of waist pain before and after the research program with the functional taping that applied caffeine for the patients with lumbar disease. In consequence, there was a positive effect of the pain relief on the pain for lumbar disease and the increase of the lumbar strength. In the future, the study with he functional taping that applied caffeine as a effective exercise aid should be performed by applying to the various subjects and body parts.
