본 논문에서는 배전급 고전압(1㎸~7.2㎸) 계통 연계가 가능한 새로운 3 병렬 3 레벨 NPC(Neutral-Point-Clamped) 컨버터/인버터 회로방식을 제안한다. 이 회로방식은 정격 용량의 1/3 크기를 가지는 NPC 컨버터/인버터 모듈을 3 병렬로 구성하면서 직류단 캐패시터를 병렬 연결하여 중성점 전위 변동을 저감할 수 있는 특징을 가진다. 제안된 3 병렬 3 레벨 NPC 컨버터/인버터는 기존의 NPC 컨버터의 장점을 가지면서 동시에 용량 확장이 가능하고, 하나의 모듈이 고장 상태가 되더라도 부분 운전이 가능하여 시스템의 신뢰성을 증대시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 중성점 전압 제어 전략을 실험을 통하여 검증한다. 정밀한 중성점 전압 제어를 위한 중성점 전류 제어 방법이 3병렬 구조에서 안정적으로 동작함을 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 검증한다.

This paper presents a carrier-based pulse-width modulation(PWM) method for reducing the common-mode voltage of a three-level four-leg converter. The idea of the proposed PWM method is intuitive and easy to be implemented in digital signal processor-based converter control systems. On the basis of the analysis of space-vector PWM(SVPWM) and sinusoidal PWM(SPWM) switching patterns, the fourth leg pole voltage of the three-phase converter called “f leg pole voltage” is manipulated to reduce the common-mode voltage. To synthesize f leg pole voltage for the suppression of the common-mode voltage, positive and negative pole voltage references of f leg are calculated. An offset voltage is also deduced to prevent the distortion of a, b, and c phase voltages. The feasibility of the proposed PWM method is verified by simulation and experimental results. The common-mode voltage of the proposed PWM method in peak-to-peak value is 33% in comparison with that of the conventional SVPWM method. The transition number of the common-mode voltage is also reduced to 25%.

This paper design a motors well adapted to position sensorless control method based on the high frequency signal injection and proposes a direction to design for sensorless control in interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) as a type of winding. In sensorless control, controller calculates the position of rotor at smallest d-axis inductance from high frequency injection. In order to satisfy this characteristic, this paper designs a motor as a type of winding. Distributed winding is good for sensorless control, because it has low saturation in iron core and better flux distribution than concentrated winding’s. Inductance is calculated by the FEM using frozen permeability method and voltage equations of d-q axis are used to analyze characteristics of IPMSM such as torque, output power, current angle and efficiency.
