지역사회 노인들의 감각처리능력이 건강상태와 심리적 복지감에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 65세 이상 노인들의 감각처리능력, 건강상태 그리고 심리적 복지감을 알아보고 그것들 간에 상관관계와 그것들에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 알아보고자 하였다. 이 연구의 대상자들은 G 광역시의 동구노인복지관을 이용하는 65세 이상의 노인 50명이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감각등록 저하는 27.50±8.64, 감각 민감성은 31.34±8.02, 감각 회피는 28.46±8.69점으로 대부분의 사람들과 유사한 반응양상을 보였고, 감각추구는 30.66±8.21점으로 대부분의 사람들보다 많이 덜 한 양상을 나타냈다. 활동 및 참여를 중심으로 한 건강상태는 총점 160점에 58.48±23.93점으로 약간의 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 심리적 복지감 정도는 총점 90점 만점에 59.22±7.60점이었다. 둘째, 대상자들의 감각처리능력, 건강상태, 그리고 심리적 복지감 간에 상관관계를 알아본 결과, 건강상태와 심리적 복지감이 음의 상관관계(-.427**), 감각 민감이 양의 상관관계(.319*), 감각저하가 양의 상관관계(.461**)를 보였다. 심리적 복지감과 감각추구는 양의 상관관계(.407**)를 보였다. 셋째, 감각등록저하, 감각 추구, 감각 민감, 그리고 감각 회피는 그들의 건강상태(45.8%)와 심리적 복지감(24.3%)에 영향을 미쳤다. 결론적으로, 지역사회 노인들의 건강상태와 심리적 복지감을 증진시키기 위해서는 감각처리능력에 대한 관리가 요구되고, 특히 감각 추구에 대한 기회와 훈련들이 필요하다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to examine elderly people’s sensory processing, health status and psychological well-being and look at correlation among them and factors affecting them. The subject of this study were 50 elderly people aged 65 older who had membership at a senior welfare center located in eastern area of G Metropolitan City. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. First, average score of low registration was 27.50±8.64, sensory sensitivity was 31.34±8.02, sensation avoiding was 28.46±8.69 and they showed ‘Similar to Most People’. sensation seeking was 30.66±8.21 and it showed ‘Much Less Than Most People’. Regarding their health status, their average score was at 58.48±23.93 out of the total score of 160 and they had mild difficulty with activities and participation in their local community. Regarding their psychological well-being, their average score was 59.22±7.60 out of the total score of 90. Second, examination of correlation among their sensory processing, health status, and psychological well-being showed that health status had statistically significant correlation with their psychological well-being(-.427**), sensory sensitivity(.319*), and low registration(.461**) and psychological well-being had significant correlation with sensory seeking(.407**). Third, their low registration, sensory seeking, sensory sensitivity, and sensory avoiding influenced their health status(45.8%) and psychological well-being(24.3%). Consequently, to increase health status and psychological well-being of elderly people of community-dwelling is required care of sensory processing, especially sensory seeking.

본 연구는 재활승마에 참여한 장애인들을 대상으로 테라테인먼트적 동물매개치료에 대한 임상적 효과를 알아보고자 문헌들을 통해 종합, 분석, 고찰하여 재활측면의 다채로운 접근 방법을 모색하고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 말, 동물매개치료, 재활승마, 승마운동 등의 단어를 사용하여 2005년부터 2014년 10년간 연구된 국내학술저널에 출간된 것을 바탕으로 문헌 연구를 실시하였다. 장애인을 대상으로 한 연구는 총 18편이었다. 본 연구의 결과로 말을 이용한 동물매개치료는 장애인의 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 회복에 효과적이며 치료에 대한 근거를 지지할 수 있다. 더 나은 연구를 위해 향후 기존의 제한점을 극복하기 위해서는 체계적으로 분석하는 연구들이 지속적으로 이어져야 할 것이며, 국외의 연구들과 함께 치료의 효과와 적용 가능성을 규명하는 연구들이 더 많이 계획 되어야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to identify the clinical effectiveness of theratainment animal assisted therapy to the disabled people through comprehensive and analytical studies in order to find various approach method in terms of rehabilitation aspect. A literature review was conducted based on domestic academic journals published for 10 years between 2005 to 2014 using words such as horse, animal assisted therapy, horseback riding and hose riding exercise. Studies targeting the disabled people were total of 18. As a result of this study, animal assisted therapy using horses were found to support the basis of effective therapy for physical, mental and social recovery of the disabled people. For better study and in order to overcome the previous limitations, studies based on systematic analysis should be made continuously and along with overseas studies, more studies that can identify the effectiveness and applicability of the therapy should be planned.
