본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 multiview profile (MVP)를 이용한 스테레오 동영상 부호화기 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 부호화기에서 좌영상은 기저층에서 움직임 정보를 이용하여 부호화 되고, 우영상은 상위층에서 변이 정보를 이용하여 부호화를 수행한다. 그리고 변이 정보와 움직임 정보간의 관계를 이용하여 하위 계층의 움직임 정보와 변이 정보에서 상위 계층의 움직임 정보를 유도하여 영상 예측에 사용하였다. 이를 적용하기 위해서 상위 계층과 하위 계층의 부호화 순서와 예측 모드에 제약을 두었다. 제안한 스테레오 MPEG-2부호화기는 상위 계층의 부호화시 움직임 예측을 수행하지 않고 하위 계층에서의 예측 모드 제약으로 인해 부호화기의 구조가 간단하고 부호화 시간을 줄일 수 있었다. 실영상에 대한 실험 결과에서 상위 계층의 경우 움직임 예측과 변이 예측을 모두 수행했을 때와 거의 차이가 나지 않았으며 변이 예측만을 수행 경우보다 높은 SNR을 나타내었다. A new stereoscopic codec. structure using MPEG-2 multiview profile is presented in this paper. In the suggested codec., the left image is coded with motion estimation in the base layer and the right image is coded with disparity estimation in the enhancement layer. Since it is possible to calculate rough motion of the right image sequence with disparity and motion of the left image sequence, motion compensation of the enhancement layer is performed without motion estimation. To apply this mathod to MVP codec., the prediction mode of base layer and enhancement layer is restricted, and B picture mode in the base layer is removed. Since the proposed codec. does not perform motion estimation in the enhancement layer encoding and prediction mode of base layer is restricted, it's structure is simple and reduces the encoding time. We compared the SNR of encoded image with three different structured codec., and the experimental results show suggested codec. have comparable result.

Physiological characteristics of two Korean golden kiwifruit cultivars, ‘Halla Gold’ and ‘Haehyang’, were compared to determine the storage potential of fruit. The soluble solid levels of the fruit were 8.9 and 6.9 oBrix in ‘Halla Gold’ and ‘Haehyang’ at harvest, respectively but increased up to 15.4 in ‘Halla Gold’ and 17.5 oBrix in ‘Haehyang’ after 2 months of storage. Major sugars were fructose and glucose, and sucrose content was relatively low regardless of cultivar. The edible quality of ‘Haehyang’ was better than ‘Halla Gold’ because of higher amount of sugars. Firmness of the fruits gradually decreased as the increase of storage period in ‘Halla Gold’ in both flesh and core tissue. Th firmness loss of ‘Haehyang’ fruit was faster in the first 2 months and then became slow. After 75 days of storage, the firmness of ‘Haehyang’ fruit was only 5.2% at harvest. Core tissue was soften enough to eat at ripe stage. Wall modifying enzyme activities including xylanase, α-L-arabinofuranosi- dase and β-galactosidase were consistently higher in ‘Haehyang’ and the activity of pectate lyase was more increased than ‘Halla Gold’ after 2 months of storage. Respiration rate of ‘Haehyang’ was higher than ‘Halla Gold’ and further increased after 2 months of storage. Weight loss was much higher in ‘Haehyang’ which showed higher rate of the firmness loss. The storage potential of golden kiwifruit was estimated to be about 2 months for ‘Haehyang’ and 3 months for ‘Halla Gold’ when determined on the basis of the fruit firmness.
2014 반딧불이 가족환경 축제 참여자들의 반딧불이와 생태체험활동에 대한 선호도

This study was to invest program preferences which targeted to children and parents who participated in the firefly family environment festival in Norubeol located in Seogu, Daejeon. 27.5 % of the people have never seen a firefly before joining, 46.4 % of the people have seen it 2 or 3 times, 10.1 % were 4 or 5 times, and 15.9 % were more than 6 times. It shows that younger age showed higher satisfaction for staff, higher interest in fireflies, also took ecology teachers’ explanation to heighten understanding of animals and plants. It also indicates that the respondents very interested in fireflies liked to make natural objects and showed interest in exhibitions and observation of aquatic organisms, but not interest in firefly habitat nighttime exploration. They also showed the greatest interest in making metasequoia bracelets among making natural objects activities. On the other hand, the people not interested in fireflies at all were not interested in activities much, but they happened to show great interest in fireflies habitat nighttime exploration. 50 % of the people answered that the interesting thing among making natural objects activities was making plates utilizing natural objects. Among people that are interested in fireflies, 98.5 % were satisfied in the festival, 95.6 % showed intention of reparticipation, and 77.9 % responded that they were willing to participate in the monitoring program.
