        포스트 코로나 시대의 블렌디드 수업 평가준거 타당성 연구: 공학계열 대학을 중심으로

        In the post-Corona era, blended learning will be one of the most important instructional strategies for successful education. The purpose of this study is to examine reliability and validity of the instrument developed in the instructional aspect so that a successful blended learning can take place. This instrument consists of 31 items to evaluate class operation, online learning environment, online contents, offline class, interaction and overall satisfaction. For this study, a survey was conducted in LMS and the responses of 164 students were used for analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate validation of this instrument and this analysis was run in R studio. As a result of CFA, the standardized factor loadings of all items were 0.930~0.754 and the reliability and validity of all constructs were adequate. The results of this instrument enable universities to manage the quality of their classes and instructors can use them as self-checklist to improve future classes in terms of instructional points. Finally, this instrument can be used in a variety of learner-centered learning environments.

        돌연변이 p53 단백질의 Silencing에 의한 사람유방암세포의 in vivo 항종양 효과

        Mutant p53 (R280K) is highly expressed in MDAMB-231 triple-negative human breast cancer cells. Currently, we reported the role of mutant p53-R280K in mediating the survival of MDA-MB-231 cells in vitro. The present study was undertaken to determine whether mutant p53-R280K affects breast cancer cell growth in vivo. To this end, we used small interfering RNA to knockdown the level of mutant p53- R280K in MDA-MB-231 cells. Silencing of mutant p53- R280K in MDA-MB-231 cells causes substantial tumor regression of established xenografts in vivo. In xenograft model for breast cancer, silencing of mutant p53-R280K in MDAMB-231 cells significantly inhibited the tumor growth. Moreover, TUNEL assay showed more occurrence of apoptotic cells in mutant p53-R280K silenced tumors compared to control. Our data indicate that mutant p53-R280K has an important role in mediating tumor growth of MDA-MB-231 cells in vivo. Taken together, this study suggests that endogenous mutant p53-R280K could be used as a therapeutic target for breast cancer cells harboring this TP53 missense mutation.

        해외 학습분석학(Learning Analytics) 연구에 대한 동향 분석: 실증 연구 중심으로

        다양한 기술의 발달은 교육환경에 많은 변화를 시키고 있다. 특히 인터넷의 발달로 인한 VLEs/LMSs. MOOC, 웹과 같은 학습환경은 학습자들에게 보다 효율적으로 학습할 수 있는 환경을 제공해줄 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 학습환경에서 수집된 방대한 자료를 분석하고, 이를 통해 학습 유형을 이해하고, 학습성과를 예측하며, 교수전략 개발 등을 가능하게 하는 학습분석학에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이를 활용한 실증 연구들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 국내외 학습분석학의 연구 목적, 학습분석학이 활용될 수 있는 학습환경과 적용가능한 자료분석방법에 관한 정보가 충분히 정리되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습분석학에 관한 해외 문헌 동향을 정리하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2013년 9월부터 2015년 8월까지 학습분석학이 적용된 해외 실증 연구 총 154편을 리뷰하였으며, Papamitsiou와 Economides(2014)의 학습분석학 문헌연구에서 사용된 연구 목적, 학습환경, 그리고 자료분석방법에 따라 세 분야에 대한 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 문헌 분석 결과 (1) 연구 목적은 학습성과예측, 교수전략 제안과 학생 행동 모델링, (2) 학습환경은 VLE/LMSs과 웹기반 교육, 그리고 (3) 자료분석방법으로는 통계 기법이 많이 활용되었다. 자료분석 방법은 Text Mining과 Social Network Analysis 방법과 같이 다양한 방법이 고르게 사용되었으며, 더하여 새롭게 Bayesian Inference Network, Machine Learning 등과 같은 자료분석방법이 활용되었다. 이러한 연구 결과에 기반을 두어 국내 학습분석학 연구를 위해 시사점을 제언하였다. 국내 연구에서도 MOOC/사회적 학습, 인지적 튜터 시스템, 모바일과 같은 학습환경에서 학생 및 학생 행동 모델링 등과 같은 연구 목적과 자료분석방법을 포함한 다양한 연구와 함께 학습분석학의 새로운 개념화와 연결되는 연구가 필요하다. 또한 교육에서의 데이터 활용은 교육공학 분야에 큰 시사점을 준다. 교수설계, 교수전략, 성취도 평가와 피드백, 시각화 자료 등은 학습과정을 객관화할 수 있어 학습자 중심의 교수설계에 시사점을 준다. 최근 활성화되는 하이브리드 교수법에 대한 효과성과 자기주도성 등 교육공학의 온·오프라인 학습환경 개선 연구에 기여할 수 있을 것을 기대한다. Advances in technology brings mcuh changes in learning environment. Especially, advances in Internet technology have created various learning settings such as LMSs/VLEs, MOOC, and Web-based learning. These newly emerging learning settings have contributed to provide more effective learning environment for learners than ever before. These learning environment enable collection of vast amount of data and analyze such data for meaningful interpretation. Recently, much attention has been paid to Learning Analytics in order to understand different learning types or learners, predict learners’ performances, and further to develop various teaching strategies under those learning settings. Although many studies on Learning Analytics have been conducted, we lack information about research objectives, learning settings, and data analysis methods used in Learning Analytics. Therefore, the purpose of this literature review of international research was to identify trends of current Learning Analytics studies in terms of research objectives, learning settings, and data analysis methods. In this research, we reviewed a total of 154 published in international articles and presentations made between September of 2013 through August of 2015. This literature review applied Papamitsiou & Economides (2014) literature review framework and methods. The research findings showed that (1) prediction of performances, recommendation of resources, and student behavior modeling were prevalent in terms of research objectives, (2) LMSs/VLEs and web-based education were prevalent in terms of learning settings, and (3) statistics was prevalent in terms of data analysis method. Specifically, various data analysis methods have been used such as Text Mining and Social Network Analysis. Interestingly, Bayesian Inference Network or Machine Learning which is not commonly used in Educational Technology was found from this literature review. We suggested several implications to improve Learning Analytics in Korea. It is necessary to conduct studies with various learning objectives, learning settings, and data analysis methods. Finally, it should lead to conceptualize Learning Analytics for Korean researchers. In addition to these conclusion, the use of data for education offer implication for researchers in the field of Korean Educational Technology. The research using Learning Analytics can provide strategies for designing hybrid learning environment, student achievements and feedback, and the visualized data could provide additional information about students’ learning process. Further researches in the area of Learning Analytics can provide important implications for those who research to improve online and offline learning environment.

        커큐민에 의한 노치발현 조절에서 Sp의 역할

        Curcumin has diverse anticancer activities that lead to tumor growth inhibition of cancer cells and induction of apoptosis. Curcumin is involved in the regulation of multiple genes via transcription factors including NF-kB, STATs, AP1, and SP. Notch signaling plays critical roles in maintaining the balance between cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, and thereby may contribute to the development of various cancers involving breast cancer. This study was to investigate the effects of curcumin on Notch1 gene expression and to explore the underlying mechanism. Here, we found that curcumin decreased the levels of Notch1 mRNA and protein in MDA-MB-231 human breast cancer cells, along with the downregulation of Sp family genes (Sp1, Sp2, Sp3, and Sp4). The repressive effect of curcumin on Notch1 gene transcription was confirmed by performing Notch1 promoter- driven reporter assay and three Sp-binding sites were identified on Notch1 promoter that may act as curcumin-respose elements. Moreover, treatment with mitramycin A, a specific Sp inhibitor, decreased the levels of Notch1 mRNA and protein in human breast cancer cells. Taken together, our results indicate that Notch1 gene expression is downregulated by curcumin, at least in part, through the suppression of Sp family, which may lead to apoptosis in human breast cancer cells.
