The purpose of this paper is to suggest the task of university education related to the opening of educational market. First of all, it endeavors to investigate the present situation of the opening of educational market and what issues it may bring about in the university education, Secondly, it seeks to analyze the cases of the opening of educational market in foreign countries, the current market situations of the Korean university, and to find out the issues of the university education related to the opening cases of educational market, Thirdly, this paper aims at seeking a direction for the university education to change by offering a task that the university education should solve. The University must seek a change in order ① to overcome the wave crest of digital revolution, ② to cope with the wave crest of Globalization, Internationalization, and Liberalization, ③ to cope with the wave of competition of higher mental capacity, including creativity and variety, ④ to solve the wave crest of pathological phenomenon of the Korean university education as well as the crisis of public education, ⑤ to overcome the wave crest of the educational revolution that takes place throughout the worldwide.
