        식품의 영양표시제도 정착을 위한 기초조사(II): 소비자, 기업체, 공무원 인식 비교 연구

        The awareness of the nutrition labeling of 82 food producers and 668 government officials was assessed and compared, from May to June in 1994, to that of consumers. Compared to 82.4% of cosumers, 48.1% of producers and 47.8% of officials answered that nutrition labeling is necessary. 48% of producers expected a modest food price rise, but 70% thought food sales would not be affected with nutrition labeling. While being worried about the regulatory difficulties and the increased work load given the inadequate implementation of the current food labeling system due to insufficient personnel, 50.2% of officials wanted the new nutrition labeling system to be introduced within $1{\sim}2$ years. Contrary to the general dissatisfaction with the system and the lack of confidence in it on the part of consumers, producers thought that they currently provide sufficient food information for consumers, and that consumers had much confidence in it. Producers and officials were more found worried about consumers' inadequate understanding and inactive use of the system in contrast to the widespread and welcome support on the part of consumers. But it was fully agreed by all that education and awareness is crucial for the successful implementation of nutrition labeling system.

        중·고등학생의 청소년을 위한 식생활 지침 인지율과 실천율

        The purpose of the study was to examine the adolescents` awareness and practice of Dietary Action Guide for Adolescence, which was developed by the Ministry of Health & Welfare. Subjects were middle and high school students, selected one class each from all of the 16 provinces in Korea, which were 32 schools and 998 students all together. The subjects were asked to self-evaluate the degree of awareness and practice of Dietary Action Guide using the 5 point-Likert scale from July to September, 2010. On average, 55.1% of the students responded that they were aware of the Dietary Action Guide and 49.4% answered that they put Guidelines into practice. The average score of awareness and practice were 3.54 ± 0.24 and 3.42 ± 0.33, respectively. The awareness score was higher than those of practice score in all the questions in the 6 categories. Awareness score of female students was higher than those of male students but there was no difference by residence area. Awareness and practice of the nutrition education-experienced were higher than those of the inexperienced. Practice score was higher among middle school-students compared to high school students, which reflected the opportunity of taking nutrition related classes. This finding shows that nutrition education for adolescents is important to change their dietary behaviors regardless of gender, residence area and school level.         남녀별 직업군에 따른 대사증후군의 구성요소와 유병률 및 영양 상태의 비교 연구

        본 연구에서는 2013년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여 30~64세 무직을 제외한 근로자 1,750명 (남성 892명, 여성 858명)을 대상으로 화이트칼라와 블루칼라로 직업군을 분류하였으며 이를 통해 직업군에 따른 대사증후군의 구성요소와 유병률 및 영양 상태를 비교 연구하였다. 그 결과 대사증후군 영향 요인으로 작용하는 사회경제적 지표인 교육수준과 소득수준에서 남녀 모두 화이트칼라가 블루칼라보다 높았다. 대사증후군 유병률을 살펴보았을 때, 남성의 경우 블루칼라 35.1%, 화이트칼라 26.8%로 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 높게 나타났으며, 여성의 경우 블루칼라 24.8%, 화이트칼라 8.9%로 블루칼라가 화이트칼라 보다 대사증후군 유병률이 높았다. 남녀를 비교하였을 때는 여성보다 남성에서 대사증후군 유병률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 대사증후군 구성요소의 유병률에서는 남성의 경우 고혈당이 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 유의적으로 유병률이 높았으며 여성의 경우 복부 비만, 고혈압, 고혈당, 고중성지방혈증, 저HDL콜레스테롤혈증 모두 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 유의적으로 유병률이 높았다. 음식군별 1회 섭취량을 고려하여 주당 섭취빈도를 살펴본 결과 직업군별 남성의 경우 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 밥류의 주당 섭취빈도가 많았으며 빵·떡류의 주당 섭취빈도는 화이트칼라가 블루칼라보다 유의적으로 많이 섭취하였다. 여성의 경우는 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 국·찌개류의 주당 섭취빈도가 많았으며 과일류의 주당 섭취빈도는 화이트칼라가 블루칼라보다 유의적으로 많이 섭취하였다. 영양소 섭취량은 총 에너지 섭취량을 제외한 나머지 영양소 섭취량에서 남녀 모두 화이트칼라가 블루칼라보다 많이 섭취하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과 남녀 모두 대사증후군 유병률은 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 높았으며 특히, 여성의 블루칼라에서 대사증후군과 그 구성요소의 유병률 비율이 높게 나타나 대사증후군 중재 및 예방을 위한 영양교육이 필요할 것이다. 또한, 남녀 모두 블루칼라가 화이트칼라보다 영양소 섭취 및 식사의 질이 전반적으로 저조한 것으로 나타나 블루칼라의 올바른 식습관 개선이 필요하다고 사료된다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 성별에 따른 직업유형별 대사증후군 유병률과 영양소 섭취 상태가 상이하므로 이를 고려한 근로자들의 질병 예방을 위한 맞춤형 영양교육 서비스가 필요하다고 사료된다. Purpose: In this study, factors of metabolic syndrome and nutritional status were examined according to gender and occupations using the 2013 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Methods: This study was conducted on 1,750 workers (male : 892, female : 858) aged between 30 and 64, who participated in a health survey, health examination, and nutrition survey using the 6th 2013 KNHANES. Occupations were classified into white collar and blue collar workers, and nutrient intake was analyzed using a food frequency questionnaire. Analysis of complex sample design data through SPSS 19.0 was used for analysis. Results: The prevalence rate of metabolic syndrome among blue collar (35.1%) was higher than that among white collar workers (26.8%) in male subjects (p < 0.05) as well as in blue collar (24.8%) compared to white collar workers (8.9%) in female subjects (p < 0.001). Intake frequency per week, considering one portion by food category, showed significant differences in cooked rice (p < 0.05) and bakeries and confectioneries (p < 0.05) in make workers as well as stew and casserole (p < 0.01) and fruits (p < 0.05) in female workers. With regard to nutrient intake by occupation and gender, white collar workers consumed a greater amount of nutrients (not including total energy intake) compared to blue collar workers in both male and female workers. With regard to nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR) and mean adequacy ratio (MAR) according to gender and occupation, white collar workers showed higher numbers than blue collar workers in both male and female subjects. Conclusions: This study examined the prevalence rates of metabolic syndrome and nutrient intake according to gender and occupation. In both male and female subjects, blue collar workers showed higher prevalence rates compared to white collar workers, and their diet quality was worse than white collar workers" diet quality. Considering this result, customized nutrition education according to gender and occupation should be provided to workers to prevent diseases.

        일부 원거리 통학 여대생의 체격지수와 영양섭취 실태조사 - 섭취열량과 소모열량과의 균형을 중심으로 -

        일부 원거리 통학 여대생을 대상으로 Broca's index, BMI, 체지방량을 이용하여 비만도를 측정하였다. 또한 식이 섭취량을 조사하여 권장량과 비교하였으며 소모열량을 측정하여 섭취열량과 소모열량과의 균형상태를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다.<br/> 1. 조사대상자의 평균 신장과 체중은 158.0±17.8㎝, 51.7±7.8㎏으로 ‘84 한국인 성인 표준치 159.5㎝, 52.5㎏와 차이는 없었지만 개인간의 신장차이가 큰 것을 알 수 있다.<br/> 2. Broca's index를 기준으로 비만도를 측정하였을 때, 저체중군이 25.89%, 정상군이 67.0%와 과체중군이 7.06%로 나타났으며, BMI값을 기준으로 4개 그룹으로 분류하였을 때에는 저체중군이 40%, 정상군이 58.8%와 과체중군이 1.2%로 나타났다. 각 지수에 대한 유효성을 살펴 보았을 때, BMI가 Broca지수 보다 좀더 타당함을 알 수 있었다.<br/> 3. BIA에 의한 체위판정 결과는 저체중군이 7%, 정상군이 64.2%와 과체중군이 22%, 비만군이 6.1%로 BMI에 의한 체위판정결과와 다르게 나타났다. BIA에 의한 체위판정을 위해서는 제거가 용이하지 않은 치아교정기, 속옷에 부착된 금속 등에 대한 보정값이 마련되어서 측정상 오차가 발생하지 않도록 보완되어야 하겠다.<br/> 4. 식사기록법에 의해 식이 섭취량을 조사한 결과 영양소중 단백질, 인, 비타민 B군의 섭취는 비교적 충분한 반면 비타민 A를 제외한 칼슘과 철분을 포함한 나머지 영양소는 권장량 보다 낮게 섭취된 것으로 나타났다.<br/> 5. 1일 평균 섭취열량은 1545.5±395.4㎉, 생활시간 조사에 따른 1일 평균 소모열량은 1929.8±198.3㎉, 간이 소모열량측정기에 의한 1일 평균 소모열량은 1676.1±141.7㎉로 조사되었으며 섭취열량에 비해 소모열량이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. This study was aimed to investigate the nutritional status of Korean female college students who are attending school at a long distance. Physique classification by anthropomethic indexes, Body mass index(BMI) & Brocas' index and the body fat distribution were investigated. The energy balance was also examined comparing caloric intake with caloric expenditure. The results of this study are followings: (1) Average height and weight were 158.0±17.8㎝, 51.7±7.8㎏. This results were not quite different from '84 Korean Adult Standard of 159.5㎝, 52.5㎏. (2) By Broca's index, 25.89% of subjects was underweight, 67.0% was normal weight and 7.06% was overweight. By BMI, 40% of subjects was underweight, 58.8% was normal weight and 1.2% was overweight. (3) According to % fat measured By BIA, 7% in subjects was underweight, 64.2% was normal weight, 22% was overweight and 6.1% was obesity. This result differed from BMI's result. It may be measurement error due to the difficulty of removing metal sticking to underwear and tooth correction. (4) The intakes of the nutrients except protein, P, vitamin B₁ complexes, were lower than the intakes indicated by Korean Recommended Allowances. (5) Average caloric intake a day was 1545±395.4㎉, which was much lower than the RDA. The caloric expenditure was much more than caloric intake, which showed negative energy balance in the subjects of this study.

        한국 청소년의 사회인구학적 요인과 식품섭취빈도와의 관련성 연구 제7차(2011) 청소년건강행태온라인 조사를 이용하여

        The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of socio-demographic factors on food consumption frequencies among adolescents in Korea. Data were obtained from the Seventh Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (2011 KYRBS), a nationwide representative sample of 75,643 (37,873 males and 37,770 females) middle and high school students. It was carried out as a self-administered on-line survey. The frequency of eating breakfast was 4.8 times per week for middle school students and 4.6 times per week for high school students (p < 0.001). Higher levels of perceived household economic status, family affluence scale (FAS) and education attainment of mother were associated with more frequent breakfast eating. The frequencies of consumption of vegetables and milk were higher in males than in females (p < 0.001). The frequency of consumption fruits was higher in females than in males (p < 0.01). Higher levels of perceived household economic status, FAS and education attainment of mother were associated with more frequent consumption of vegetable, fruits and milk. The frequencies of consumption of soda, fast food and instant noodls were higher in males than in females (p < 0.001). The frequency of consumption of snacks was higher in females than in males. Adolescents with lower levels of FAS and education attainment of mother were at risk for skipping breakfast and consuming of soda, fast food and instant noodls more frequently. Whereas, adolescents with higher levels of FAS, education attainment of mother were more likely to be frequent consumers of vegetable, fruits and milk. These findings demonstrated that being high school students and belonging to lower level of socio-economic status (SES) were associated with undesirable food habits.         유선망에 최적화 되도록 설계된 TCP는 무선망에 적용되었을 경우 무선망의 특성에 의해 발생하는 데이터의 손실을 망의 혼잡에 의한 손실로 인식하여 불필요한 혼잡 제어 메커니즘을 수행하여 망의 성능을 떨어뜨리는 문제가 발생 된다. 본 논문에서는 이 같은 문제점을 보완하기 위해 제안된 Snoop의 성능을 TCP와 비교·분석하고 앞으로 진행될 연구를 제안한다.

        그림설문지를 이용한 유아 대상 영양교육 효과 분석

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the nutrition education on preschool children`s nutrition knowledge and behaviors. The study subjects were preschool children attending J kindergarten located in Wonju. Each of the control group and the education group consisted of 49 children and the education group was exposed to nutrition education while the control group did not. The nutrition education intervention lasted 9 weeks weekly basis. The t-test for the homogeneity of each group showed no meaningful difference at the beginning point of nutrition education. After nutrition education a test of nutrition knowledge using picture-questionnaire was carried out by the researcher for the subjects of education group and control group and the caretakers of the education group were offered self-administered questionnaire on the changes in children`s dietary behaviors. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Nutrition education intervention showed a meaningful difference in children`s understanding nutrition; the kinds and function of food, the relationship between food and body, the function of nutrients and enhanced their idea on hygiene compared to the control group (p < p.005). 2. However, nutrition education intervention made no statistically meaningful difference in children`s dietary behaviors such as having breakfast, keeping balanced diet, washing hands before meals, saying “thanks” before and after meals, cleaning the table after meals, brushing teeth after meals and so on. Therefore, we found that it is hard to expect children to correct their dietary behaviors in such a short period of 9 weeks and nutrition education for preschool children should be offered to caretakers at the same time.
