데이터베이스 파일의 삭제를 위한 미처리 연산의 효율적 수행 기법

본 논문은 데이터베이스 관리시스템이 데이터베이스를 저장할 디스크 공간을 직접 관리하는 환경에서 데이터베이스 파일들의 삭제를 위해 미처리 연산을 정확하고 효율적으로 수행하는 기법을 제시한다. 미처리 연산의 수행과 관련하여 회복시에 회복 프로세스는 완료가 결정되었으나 아직 종료하지 않은 미종료 트랜잭션들의 아직 수행되지 않은 미처리 연산들을 식별하고 이들을 완전히 수행할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문의 기본아이디어는 로그 파일에 기록된 로그레코드들을 분석함으로써 회복 프로세스가 그 연산들을 식별할 수 있게 하는 것이다. 이 기법은 ARIES의 트랜잭션, 퍼지 검사점, 그리고 회복의 수행을 확장한 것으로서 다음의 방법을 사용한다. 첫째, 회복시에 미종료 트랜잭션들을 식별하기 위하여, 각 트랜잭션은 트랜잭션의 완료와 미처리 연산 수행의 시작을 함께 나타내는 미처리연산수행시작('pa-start') 로그레코드를 기록한 후에 미처리 연산을 수행하며, 그리고 나서 트랜잭션 종료 로그레코드를 기록한다. 둘째. 회복시에 미종료 트랜잭션들의 미처리 연산 리스트를 복구하기 위하여, 각 트랜잭션은 미처리 연산수행시작 로그레코드에 그 트랜잭션의 미처리 연산 리스트를 수록하며 퍼지 검사점은 검사점종료 로그레코드에 완료가 결정된 트랜잭션의 미처리 연산 리스트를 수록한다. 셋째, 회복시에 다음에 수행할 미처리 연산을 식별하기 위하여, 각 트랜잭션은 미처리 연산을 수행하면서 변경하는 각 페이지에 대하여 그 페이지에 대한 재수행 정보를 기록하는 로그레코드에 다음에 수행할 미처리 연산의 식별 정보를 함께 수록한다. In the environment that database management systems manage disk spaces for storing databases directly, this paper proposes a correct and efficient scheme of performing pending actions for the removal of database files. As for performing pending actions, upon performing recovery, the recovery process must identify unperformed pending actions of not-yet-terminated transactions and then perform those actions completely. Making the recovery process identify those actions through the analysis of log records in the log file is the basic idea of this paper. This scheme, as an extension of the execution of transactions, fuzzy checkpoint, and recovery of ARIES, uses the following methods: First, to identify not-yet-terminated transactions during recovery, transactions perform pending actions after writing 'pa_start'log records that signify both the commit of transactions and the start of executing pending actions, and then write 'eng'log records. Second, to restore pending-actions-lists of not-yet-terminated transactions during recovery, each transaction records its pending-actions-list in 'pa_start'log record and the checkpoint process records pending-actions-lists of transactions that are decided to be committed in 'end_chkpt'log record. Third, to identify the next pending action to perform during recovery, whenever a page is updated during the execution of pending actions, transactions record the information that identifies the next pending action to perform in the log record that has the redo information against the page.

경량식 상부구조를 가지는 도시한옥에 관한 연구 - 대구 중구를 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to look into the weight-lightening phenomenon of the roof structure of some Hanok(韓屋), the Korean traditional houses found from the survey on the distribution and actual state of urban traditional houses existing in the whole region of Jung-gu, Daegu, Korea. As a result of judging from the pre-test of building registers for the research area, approximately 5,000 wood structure houses were found. A field data survey based on these findings showed that there are 1,752 Hanok houses. And the further classification of the Korean traditional houses by roof structure type shows that about 35% of them underwent weight lightening. While this kind of light-weight Hanok is different from the concept of traditional Hanok, they also show the survival method of Hanok that reflects the economical and technological phases of that period. It is expected that deeper understanding on the urban traditional houses will be possible through carrying out in-depth researches on techniques of the light-weight roof structure of the urban traditional houses that are supposed to have functioned as dwellings as commercial products.

선박 엔진의 고장 예측 알고리즘

As the size of a vessel is getting bigger, the speed of that is getting higher, and the most controling mechanism is automated, the volume of marine cargo and the number of vessels held by a company increases continually. So, the role of ship management industry becomes more important. A sudden failure of major equipments of a vessel causes a great economical damage to the vessel management company, hence an algorithm which can predict and prevent failures in advance is required. Most of existing algorithms for the requirement have a limit in predicting failures in advance because they usually use simple method like setting the threshold values of sensors or examining the correlation between sensors. In this paper, we present an effective algorithm to detect engine failure, which reduces a large amount of sensor data into smaller set of useful data by analysing correlation among them and which detects defect data by regression analysis. Results obtained by simulation using the real data generated by a vessel, which belongs to H marine company, and the failure report, our proposed algorithm is proved to be effective to predict engine failure in advance.

PDA판 한국어 Composite International Diagnostic Interview(PDA-K-CIDI)의 개발-주요우울장애, 알코올과 니코틴 사용장애에 대하여

Objectives:This study aims to develop a Personal digital assistant(PDA) version of the Korean Composite International Diagnostic Interview(K-CIDI) about major depressive disorder, alcohol and nicotine use disorder for lifelong diagnosis. Methods:PDA version of K-CIDI life-long diagnosis in part of major depressive disorder, alcohol, nicotine dependence and withdrawal were made. The reliability and validity of the PDA-K-CIDI was evaluated by examining 19 alcohol dependence patients, 30 patients with major depressive disorder and 30 community residents. Two psychiatric residents jointly interviewed by PDA-K-CIDI and inter-rater reliability were evaluated. Two psychiatric residents jointly determined clinical diagnoses using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV. The kappa value was calculated about agreement of two diagnoses to evaluate validity of PDA-K-CIDI. Results:The kappa values which indicates validity of the PDA-K-CIDI were 0.473-0.687 according to diagnostic criteria. The inter-rater reliability of the K-CIDI indicated kappa values ranging from 0.712-1 according to diagnostic criteria. Conclusions:The reliability and validity of the PDA-K-CIDI about major depressive disorder, alcohol, nicotine dependence and withdrawal were judged to be exceptionally acceptable. The PDA-K-CIDI was deemed to be appropriate for the epidemiologic study.

군수품 생산업체 품질수준 측정지표 및 모형 개발에 관한 연구

방위산업은 최근 방산수출과 연계하여 국가의 주력사업으로 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 군수업체의 품질수준 조사는 방위산업 육성정책을 수립하는데 필수적이다. 군수품 생산업체 품질수준 조사는 군수품 생산 업체의 내부 품질관리 및 품질경영 시스템에 대한 조사 및 분석을 통해, 향후 군수품의 전반적인 품질 수준 제고를 위한 품질 정책 수립에 기여하기 위해 매 년 수행하고 있다. 과거에 사용 하였던 품질수준 측정 지표가 현재의 실태를 반영하는데 한계가 있었다. 따라서 품질 수준의 진단 모형과 측정 지표를 개선할 필요성이 제기 되었다. 본 논문은 타 기관 및 기업의 품질 수준측정 지표의 사례를 조사하고, 기존에 국방 분야에서 실시되고 있는 다양한 평가지표 등을 분석하였다. 또한 과정 지표와 성과 지표의 연계성을 강화하여 군수품 생산업체의 품질수준을 객관적이고 직관적으로 표시될 수 있도록 개선하였다. 본 논문을 통해 제시된 측정 지표 및 모형은 향후 군수품 품질수준 조사에 활용될 것이다. 또한 군수품 품질수준 조사결과는 정부의 국방품질관리 정책을 보다 효과적으로 수립하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The defense industry has recently been developed for boosting exports of weapon systems. The survey and analysis of the quality level are required to form a relevant policy for expanding the defense industry. Evaluation indices and modeling of the quality level for manufacturers are used to examine the status of internal quality management and quality management system in order to enhance the overall quality level and establish a quality policy in the field of military supplies. There were some restrictions to apply all aspects of the quality level in the previous model. This paper deals with the research and analysis of other types of model for evaluating the quality level, including the model used in the defense field. By enhancing the close link between procedure indices and performance indices, the research and analysis could be conducted objectively and intuitively. The developed and improved model and indices will be used in the next survey of the quality level for manufacturers of military supplies. The survey results will be used to establish effective government quality management policy.

상태미반영 로그 레코드: 퍼지 검사점과 트랜잭션의 비동기 수행에 따른 회복의 문제점

재시작 회복시 수행해야 할 작업량을 줄이기 위하여 주기적으로 수행하는 검사점 중 퍼지 검사점은 정상적인 트랜잭션들의 수행과 병행하여 수행된다. 트랜잭션들과 퍼지 검사점의 수행시, 로그 레코드 기록의 순서화를 위한 로그 래취를 획득한 상태에서 로그 레코드를 기록할 수 있으며, 트랜잭션 엔트리의 무결성을 보장하기 위한 트랜잭션 래취를 획득한 상태에서 트랜잭션은 로그 레코드의 기록과 관련된 트랜잭션 상태를 변경할 수 있으며 검사점 프로세스는 트랜잭션의 상태를 검사할 수 있다. 퍼지 검사점과 트랜잭션들의 수행이 비동기로 수행되는 상황에서 로그 래취와 트랜잭션 래취의 획득 및 해제 방법이 적절하지 못한 경우, 퍼지 검사점이 어떤 트랜잭션의 트랜잭션 상태를 검사하기 전에 그 트랜잭션에 의하여 기록된 로그 레코드이지만 그 퍼지 검사점이 그 트랜잭션의 트랜잭션 상태를 검사할 때까지 그 로그 레코드의 기록 상황이 그 트랜잭션의 트랜잭션 상태에 반영되지 않은 경우가 발생할 수 있다. 이 경우, 기록 상황이 트랜잭션 상태에 반영되지 않은 그 로그 레코드를 그 퍼지 검사점에 대한 그 트랜잭션의 상태미반영(unreflected-in-state) 로그 레코드라 한다. 본 논문은 상태미반영 로그 레코드를 발생시키는 상황들을 분석하고, 상태미반영 로그 레코드의 발생에 따란 문제점들을 기술하며, 상태미반영 로그 레코드의 발생에 대하여 전면 방지 기법, 일부 방지 기법 그리고 전면 허용하지만 회복시 이를 해결하는 기법등 세가지 해결책을 제시한다. Among checkpoints that are performed periodically to reduce the amount of work that needs to be done during restart recovery, a fuzzy checkpoint can be performed in parallel with normal transactions. During the execution of transactions and the fuzzy checkpoint, log records must be written only after holding the log latch that is used to serialize the writing of the log records. When transactions update their transaction states or when a checkpoint process checks the states of transactions, they must hold transaction latches that are used to ensure the integrity of transaction entries. In the environment that the fuzzy checkpoint is performed asynchronously with transactions, if the method of holding and releasing the log latch and transaction latches is not appropriate, there might be a log record that has been written by a certain transaction before a fuzzy checkpoint checks the state of the transaction but its writing has not been reflected in the state of the transaction until the fuzzy checkpoint checks the state of the transaction. In that case, the log record whose writing has not been reflected in the state of the transaction is called unreflected-in-state log record of the transaction against the fuzzy checkpoint. In this paper, the situations that might cause occurrences of unreflected-in-state log records are analyzed, the problems associated with the log records are presented, and three different solutions against the occurrences of those log records are proposed: a total prevention scheme, a partial prevention scheme, and a scheme that permits occurrences of them but resolves the problems during the recovery process.

This paper describes a control scheme for direct torque and flux control of induction machines. The proposed predictive flux control scheme has directly calculated the reference voltage space vector based on flux errors in order to control the torque and flux. This proposed control scheme has not the requirement of a separate current regulator and proportional-integral (PI) control of the flux, torque, and/or current error, thereby improving transient performance and also has the advantage of less torque ripple in steady state with a fixed switching period. The effect of proposed method has been proven by simulations and experiments.<br/> <br/> <br/>
