        Establishment of an Evaluation System for Port Infrastructure Competitiveness: Support Sustainable Marine Transportation

        연구목적: 본 연구는 우리나라 항만시설 경쟁력을 평가하여 실태를 파악하고 개선방안을 도출하기 위한 목적으로 수행 되었다. 현재 전 세계 다양한 해운항만물류 관련 평가체계는 정량적 또는 정성적 중심으로 이루어져 종합적인 평가는 어려운 실정이다. 또한, 우리나라 해운항만물류분야에 대한 평가는 다소 절하되어 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정량적 및 정성적 요인을 동시에 고려한 종합적이고, 최근의 글로벌 해운항만물류 트렌드를 반영한 평가체계를 개발하였다. 논문구성/논리: 본 연구는 총 5개의 장으로 구성되어 있다. 2장은 항만 관련 선행연구와 해운항만물류 관련 지수의 국내외 사례연구 분석을 통해 시사점을 도출하려한다. 3장에서는 평가체계 개발 과정 및 평가 방법을 소개한다. 4장은 우리나라 항만을 대상을 수행한 시범사업의 평가 결과를 제시한다. 결과: 30개 무역항을 대상으로 평가해본 결과, 우리나라 항만은 전반적으로 안전하고 디지털 관련 시설이 잘 확보되어 있는 반면 정시성 확보를 위한 시설 개선 및 운영 효율성 제고가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 친환경 시설에 대한 대대적인 투자와 개발은 매우 시급한 것으로 판단되었다. 독창성/가치: 현재까지 전 세계적으로 항만시설의 경쟁력 수준을 정시성, 안전, 친환경, 디지털 등 다양한 부문에 대한 정량적·정성적 요인들을 동시에 반영하는 포괄적인 평가체계는 전무하다. 본 연구에서는 이 같은 포괄적인 평가가 가능한 지수를 개발한데 큰 의미가 있고, 시범평가를 통해 우리나라 항만의 주요취급 화물별 시설 경쟁력 수준을 파악하였다. 이는 향후 우리나라 항만시설 경쟁력 제고를 위한 투자 및 개발의 우선순위 산정의 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것이다. 또한, 장기적인 관점에서는 지속적인 수정/보완을 거쳐 국제지수로 확대 가능할 것으로 판단된다. Purpose: This study was conducted to understand the current status and derive improvement points by evaluating the competitiveness of Korean port infrastructure. At present, various shipping-port-logistics related evaluation systems around the world are either quantitative or qualitative rather than comprehensive evaluation. However, the result of evaluation for the shipping-port-logistics sector in Korea on a global level is undervalued and this is different from the real situation. Composition/Logic: This study consists of five chapters. Chapter 2 attempts to derive implications through a literature review on ports and analysis of domestic and foreign case studies of shipping port logistics-related indices. Chapter 3 introduces the development process of the evaluation system(index) and evaluation method. Chapter 4 presents the evaluation results of the pilot project that conducted the port in Korea. Findings: As a result of evaluating the 30 trade ports in Korea, it was found that Korea s ports are generally safe and digitally secured, while improving facilities and improving operational efficiency are needed to secure on schedule time. In particular, it should be considered that it is urgent to make a large investment toward developing eco-friendly facilities. Originality/Value: In this study, it was meaningful to develop an index capable of such comprehensive evaluation, and through the pilot project, the competitiveness level of facilities in each port of Korea was identified. This study could be used as the initial resource for the prioritization of investment and development to enhance the competitiveness of Korean trade ports in the future. Furthermore, in the long term, it would be expanded to the international index through continuous revision and supplementation.

        기도 내 이물질 소아에서 단순 흉부방사선사진과 가슴 전산화단층촬영

        Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of radiologic findings in children with suspected foreign body aspiration. Methods: A retrospective medical chart review was done on 32 children with suspected foreign bodies in terms of age, sex, symptoms, signs, bronchographic findings, and type and location of foreign bodies. The diagnostic value of radiography was analyzed: 29 with chest anteroposterior (AP) or posteroanterior (PA) view, 23 with chest lateral decubitus view, 27 with chest computed tomography (CT), 29 with chest AP, PA or chest lateral decubitus view, and 25 with bronchoscopy. Results: As a measure for detecting foreign body aspiration, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of radiologic findings were: chest AP or PA view, 50%, 100%, 100%, 29.4%, and 58.6%, respectively; chest lateral decubitus view, 57.9%, 50.0%, 84.6%, 20.0%, and 56.5%, respectively; chest AP, PA or chest lateral decubitus view, 69.6%, 66.7%, 88.8%, 36.4%, and 69.0%, respectively; and chest CT, 100.0%, 85.7%, 95.2%, 100.0%, and 96.2%, respectively. Conclusion: There is clinical benefit to take chest radiographs to diagnose foreign body aspiration. However, based on the results of this study, it may be not necessary to take chest lateral decubitus to diagnose foreign body aspiration. If chest radiographs show unilateral hyperinflation, foreign body aspiration can be diagnosed. In cases of normal chest radiography and history of a witnessed choking episode combined with positive signs, the diagnosis of airway foreign body aspiration should be made by using chest CT.         양파(Allium cepa L.) 음료의 콜린성 활성 증가 및 뇌신경세포 보호로 인한 Amyloid β Peptide 유도에 대한 인지장애 개선 효과

        To examine the cognitive function of onion (Allium cepa L.) beverages (odourless and fortified), we analyzed in vitro neuronal cell protection against $H_2O_2$-induced cytotoxicity and performed in vivo tests on amyloid beta ($A{\beta}$)-induced cognitive dysfunction. Cellular oxidative stress and cell viability were evaluated by DCF-DA assay and MTT assay. These results show that fortified beverage resulted in better neuronal cell protection than odourless beverage at lower concentration ($0{\sim}100{\mu}g/mL$). Fortified beverage also showed more excellent acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity ($IC_{50}$: 4.20 mg/mL) than odourless beverage. The cognitive functions of odourless beverage and fortified beverage in $A{\beta}$-induced neurotoxicity were assessed by Y-maze, passive avoidance, and Morris water maze tests. The results show improved cognitive function in both groups treated with beverages. After in vivo tests, cholinergic activities were determined based on AChE inhibition and acetylcholine levels, and antioxidant activities were measured as SOD, oxidized glutathione (GSH)/total GSH ratio, and MDA levels in mouse brain tissue. In a Q-TOF UPLC/MS system, main compounds were analyzed as follows: odourless beverage (five types of sugars and three types of phenolics) and fortified beverages (six types of phenolics and two types of steroidal saponins). 본 연구는 양파의 불쾌치를 저감화시킨 무취음료와 양파 과피 추출물을 첨가한 생리활성 성분 강화음료의 $H_2O_2$로 유도된 산화적 스트레스에 대한 뇌신경세포 보호 효과와 $A{\beta}$로 유도된 인지기능 장애 동물모델에서의 개선 효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 뇌신경세포 보호 효과에서는 상대적으로 강화음료에서 무취음료 대비 우수한 산화적 스트레스 억제효과 및 생존율을 나타내었다. $A{\beta}$로 유도된 인지기능 장애 동물모델에 있어 Y-maze, passive avoidance 및 Morris water maze test에서 강화음료가 상대적으로 우수한 학습 및 기억력 개선 효과를 나타내는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 마우스의 뇌 조직에서 강화음료 그룹은 AChE 활성을 저해하고, 신경전달물질인 ACh의 함량을 증가시킴으로써 $A{\beta}$로 유도된 cholinergic system 장애에 있어 개선 효과를 나타내었다. 또한, 마우스 뇌에서 SOD 함량의 증가, oxidized GSH/total GSH와 MDA 함량을 감소시킴으로써 $A{\beta}$와 같은 산화적 스트레스 인자에 대한 뛰어난 항산화 효과를 나타내었다. 최종적으로 무취음료와 강화음료의 주요성분들을 Q-TOF UPLC/MS system을 통하여 분석한 결과, 강화음료의 경우 무취음료보다 생리활성을 가진 2개의 steroidal saponin과 6개의 phenolic 화합물 등이 추가 검출되었다. 이러한 결과들을 종합해볼 때 강화음료는 상대적으로 protocatechuic acid와 quercetin 같은 강력한 항산화 효과를 나타내는 phenolic 화합물과 steroidal saponin 계열에 의한 우수한 인지기능 개선 효과를 기반으로 한 고부가가치 식품으로 활용될 수 있는 산업적 가능성이 있다고 판단된다.

        본 연구는 양파의 불쾌치를 저감화시킨 무취음료와 양파 과피 추출물을 첨가한 생리활성 성분 강화음료의 H₂O₂로 유도된 산화적 스트레스에 대한 뇌신경세포 보호 효과와 Aβ로 유도된 인지기능 장애 동물모델에서의 개선 효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 뇌신경세포 보호 효과에서는 상대적으로 강화음료에서 무취음료 대비 우수한 산화적 스트레스 억제효과 및 생존율을 나타내었다.         Preoperative 2D-echocardiographic assessment of pulmonary arterial pressure in subgroups of liver transplantation recipients

        Background: The clinical efficacy of preoperative 2D-echocardiographic assessment of pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP) has not been evaluated fully in liver transplantation (LT) recipients.Methods: From October 2010 to February 2017, a total of 344 LT recipients who underwent preoperative 2D-echocardiography and intraoperative right heart catheterization (RHC) was enrolled and stratified according to etiology, disease progression, and clinical setting. The correlation of right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP) on preoperative 2D-echocardiography with mean and systolic PAP on intraoperative RHC was evaluated, and the predictive value of RVSP > 50 mmHg to identify mean PAP > 35 mmHg was estimated.Results: In the overall population, significant but weak correlations were observed (R = 0.27; P < 0.001 for systolic PAP, R = 0.24; P < 0.001 for mean PAP). The positive and negative predictive values of RVSP > 50 mmHg identifying mean PAP > 35 mmHg were 37.5% and 49.9%, respectively. In the subgroup analyses, correlations were not significant in recipients of deceased donor type LT (R = 0.129; P = 0.224 for systolic PAP, R = 0.163; P = 0.126 for mean PAP) or in recipients with poorly controlled ascites (R = 0.215; P = 0.072 for systolic PAP, R = 0.21; P = 0.079 for mean PAP). Conclusion: In LT recipients, the correlation between RVSP on preoperative 2D-echocardiography and PAP on intraoperative RHC was weak; thus, preoperative 2D-echocardiography might not be the optimal tool for predicting intraoperative PAP. In LT candidates at risk of pulmonary hypertension, RHC should be considered.

        Pr<sub>6</sub>O<sub>11</sub>계 ZnO 바리스터 세라믹스의 미세구조 및 전기적 특성에 미치는 Dy<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>첨가의 영향

        The microstructure and electrical characteristics of $Pr_{6}$ $O_{11}$ -based ZnO varistor ceramics composed of $ZnO-Pr_{6}$ $O_{ 11}$/$-CoO-Cr_2$$O_3$-$Dy_2$$O_3$-based ceramics were investigated with $Dy_2$$O_3$content in the range of 0.0∼2.0 mol%. As $Dy_2$$O_3$content was increased, the average grain size was decreased in the range of 18.6∼4.7 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and the density of the ceramic was decreased in the range of 5.53∼4.34 g/㎤. While, the varistor voltage was increased in the range of 39.4∼436.6 V/mm and the nonlinear exponent was in the range of 4.5∼66.6 with increasing $Dy_2$$O_3$content. The addition of $Dy_2$$O_3$highly enhanced the nonlinear properties of varistors, compared with the varistor without $Dy_2$$O_3$. In particular, the varistor with $Dy_2$$O_3$ content of 0.5 mol% exhibited the highest nonlinearity, in which the nonlinear exponent is 66.6 and the leakage current is 1.2 $\mu\textrm{A}$. The donor concentration and the density of interface states were decreased in the range of $(4.19∼0.33) ${\times}$10^{18}$ //㎤ and $(5.38∼1.74) ${\times}$10^{12}$ $\textrm{cm}^2$, respectively, with increasing $Dy_2$$O_3$content. The minimum dissipation factor of 0.0302 was obtained from 0.5mol% $Dy_2$$O_3$.

        Zn-Pr-Co-Cr-Er 산화물계 바리스터의 써지 스트레스에 대한 전기적 안정성에 미치는 소결온도의 영향

        This paper reports the variations of varistor voltage, nonlinear exponent, leakage current, and dissipation factor against surge stress of ZnO-P $r_{6}$ $O_{11}$-CoO-C $r_2$ $O_3$-E $r_2$ $O_3$(ZPCCE)-based varistors manufactured with the variations of sintering temperature. It was found that the variations of electrical parameters against surge stressing current of 100 A/$\textrm{cm}^2$(8x20 ${\mu}\textrm{s}$) is not so large under the surge stress of 700 times. Among varistors, specially the varistor sintered at 134$0^{\circ}C$ exhibited the smallest variations, with %$\Delta$ $V_{lmA}$=+0.23%, %$\Delta$$\alpha$=+0.23%, %$\Delta$ $I_{L}$=0%, %$\Delta$tan$\delta$=-6.94%. The clamping voltage ratio( $V_{c}$/ $V_{lmA}$) of all varistors was less than 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.

        소결시간에 따른 ZPCCD계 바리스터의 전기적 특성 및 안정성

        The electrical properties and stability of the varistors composed of ZnO-Pr$_{6}$O$_{11}$-CoO-Cr$_{2}$O$_{3}$-Dy$_{2}$O$_{3}$ system were investigated with sintering time in the range of 1$\~$3 h at 1350$^{\circ}C$ . As the sintering time was increased, the varistor voltage and leakage current increased, but the nonlinear exponent decreased. The varistors sintered for 1 h exhibited excellent nonlinearity, with a nonlinear exponent of 55.3 and a leakage current of 0.1 $\mu$A, whereas presented relatively low stability. The varistors sintered for 2 h exhibited not only high nonlinear exponent of 46.3, low leakage current of 0.3 $\mu$A, low dielectric dissipation factor of 0.0431, but also the highest stability, in which the variation rates of varistor voltage, nonlinear exponent, leakage current, dielectric constant, and dielectric dissipation factor were -3.0$\%$, -4.1$\%$, +3056.2$\%$, +5.1$\%$, and -12.5$\%$, respectively, after DC accelerated aging stress state of 0.95 V$_{1ma}$/150$^{\circ}C$/24 h. On the whole, the nonlinearity and stability of these varistors are greatly affected by the sintering time.
