        인간의 적응능력은 모든 상황의 영향 속에 존재하며 보편적인 사회구조 내에서 총제적인 모습으로 이해되어야 한다. 근대의 지역연구가 지역에 존재하는 사실적 구조를 중요시하는 방향으로 연구되어 지역의 주체인 ‘개인과 지역’의 개념은 거세되었고, 정치, 경제, 국제통상, 정책, 역사, 제도 등의 연구가 그 주류를 이루고 있다. 그러나 지금까지는 예상할 수 없었던 급진적인 사회․환경적 변화나 새로운 위기나 충격적 사건들이 어떻게 지역주민에게 영향을 미치는지, 그 지역의 개인과 사회가 어떠한 독특한 방법으로 적응․변화하는지의 본질을 파악하기 위해서는 기존의 패러다임과는 다른 방법을 필요로 하게 되었다. 사회과학의 가장 큰 측정량이 ‘역사’라고 본다면 자연과학은 ‘양적 접근’, 시공간을 넘는 ‘결과의 적용가능성’, 변화적응 시간과의 ‘속도경쟁’, 결과보다는 현상의 ‘과정관찰’을 토대로 하고 있다고 본다. 따라서 본 연구는 인문학, 사회과학, 그리고 자연과학이 함께 인도의 전통성과 특수성 중심의 연구와 더불어 인도인의 현재성과 보편성에 초점을 두고자 시행되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of mental health status and resilience of India. In general, resilience is defined as positive adaptation in the face of adversity. Method: A literature search was conducted from various resources about the resilience of India including protective factors and risk factors. Result: The focus on resilience that is emerging in health and sociology disciplines about vulnerabilities to traumatic events as a adversity. In recent years, Indian were exposed to extreme stressor and many adversities such as mass violence, disaster, tsunami, religious riots in India. Even though most of the health delivery systems or the level of general condition of health are improving now, mental disorders remains serious problems with constantly increasing suicide rates. Resilience is not merely surviving but thriving and having benefited from the stressor experience as the process of, capacity for, or outcome of successful adaptation. That is influenced not only by intrinsic factors but also extrinsic factors of context and socio-culture. India has a unique way for adaptation to overwhelming adversity in psychologic, religious, environmental, and social resilience. There is a clear link between individual psychological resilience, religious resilience, environment resilience, and social resilience. Conclusions: The results of this study suggested that the study of resilience of India is important for improving Indian's adaptation and finding their own resilience style. To get qualified outcomes from regional study, Indian's resilience should be found a unique ethno-cultural pattern.

        간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 스트레스 대처방식, 교수효율성, 가족지지가 임상실습만족도에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: This study aimedto develop a structural equation model on the relationship among ego-resilience, and teaching effectiveness on clinical education, stress coping style, perceived family support, and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students in order to increase the satisfaction of clinical practice. Methods: The subjects were 399 undergraduate nursing students enrolled in 7 universities and participating in 10 clinical practice setting areas in 5 cities in South Korea. The research was conducted from December 5th, 2009 to February 20th, 2010. The structural equation model was used to perform the analysis with the statistics program of SPSS win 17.0 and AMOS 5.0. Results: Teaching effectiveness and family support showed a direct effect on satisfaction of clinical practice, while ego-resilience and stress coping styles showed an indirect effect. The biggest total effect on satisfaction of clinical practice was teaching effectiveness followed by family support, ego-resilience, and stress coping styles respectively, which accounted for 50.9%. Conclusion: Based on outcomes of this study, the proposed model allows better understanding of the satisfaction of clinical practice. This result implies that strategies or intervention programs enhancing extrinsic protection factors, motivation factors, and intrinsic protection factors should be considered. In addition, a structural support system for increasing the satisfaction level of clinical practice in nursing students should also be considered.

        결손가정아동의 자아탄력성과 부적응행동 변화에 미치는 문학치료 중재 효과

        Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of a literary therapy intervention on ego-resilience and maladaptive behavior among children of broken homes. Methods: The intervention consisted of 16 sessions designed to achieve a positive self-concept and was constructed as an interaction between participant and certain literature including poetry, narratives, dramas, art therapy, and willingness to share it with others. The study was carried out from May 2 to July 25, 2006. The participants were 36 children resided in a vulnerable region in G city. The collected data for Ego-resilience, Korean-Children Behavior Checklist (K-CBCL), Korean-Youth Self-Report (K-YSR) were respectively analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, repeated measures ANOVA with Post Hoc, and ANCOVA with the SPSS/WIN version 12.0 program. Results: After the intervention, there was a significant difference between the experimental and the control group for Ego-resilience, K-CBCL, and K-YSR. There were significant differences according to time process in ego-resilience and K-YSR. Conclusion: The results indicate that literary therapy is an effective nursing intervention for enhancing ego-resilience and reducing maladaptive behavior in children of broken homes.

        교사의 주의력결핍과잉행동장애에 대한 지식정도와 공감수준이 교육적 중재에 미치는 영향 : 공감의 매개효과를 중심으로

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify how empathy mediates the relationship between teachers‘ knowledge of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and educational interventions. Methods: A survey for structural equation modeling was conducted with 334 teachers from 61 schools in D and Y cities in Korea. Data were collected from April 2012 through self-report questionnaires using standardized instruments. The data were analyzed using SPSS Win 20 and AMOS 20, and Sobel tests were conducted to determine the significance of mediation and Bootstrapping tests to construct confidence intervals. Results: Teachers‘ empathy provided complete mediation between teachers‘ knowledge and educational interventions in classrooms. Results showed that empathy contributes positively to educational interventions in ADHD by increasing understanding of children with ADHD and the situation. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, teachers need to enhance their empathy towards students with ADHD to in crease the effectiveness of their educational interventions for ADHD. These results suggest the importance of focusing on increasing teachers‘ empathy in the classroom in order to provider better education interventions for children with ADHD.

        사무직 근로자의 자아탄력성이 직무스트레스와 소진에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships and whether ego-resilience significantly predict to job stress, burnout among white collar employees. Methods: The data was collected from Jun. 22, 2009 to Jun 27, 2009. The subjects were 302 official workers in D city, Korea. To determine the most effective variable of ego-resilience to job stress and burnout, the dada were analyzed by canonical correlation using SAS 9.1 TS. Results: Canonical correlation analysis revealed that optimistic attitude among 4 sub-domains of ego-resilience made the most outstanding contribution in predicting job stress. Confidence was the most out-standing contribution in predicting to burnout. Conclusion: The results suggest that the development of ego-resilience for official workers is important for reducing job stress and burnout. Specially optimistic attitude and confident should be included in structured stress management and positive job adaptation.

        군 장병의 관계적 자기의 다면적 특성과 정신질환자에 대한 태도가 군 생활 적응에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify predictors influencing adjustment during army life after analyzing the relationship among relational self, community attitudes toward the mentally ill (CAMI), and adjustment during army life in Korea. Methods: A cross sectional study design was conducted with 230 soldiers from two military units located in Y and B cities. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Empathy-care showed significantly positive correlations with adjustment during army life. Avoidance of relationships showed significantly negative correlations with adjustment. Negative concepts in CAMI, such as authoritarianism and social restrictiveness, became were getting more negative. Positive concepts in CAMI, such as benevolence and community mental health ideology, were lacking. Significant factors were empathy-care, authoritarianism, overdependence on relations, and social restrictiveness which explained 30.1% (F=8.55, p<.001) of adjustment during army life. Conclusion: To improve military adjustment for soldiers, it is necessary to reduce misunderstandings of people with mentally illness as well as to make efforts towards systematic interpersonal relationship interventions for positive evaluation of self and others to enhance the mental health of soldiers.

        한국 학령기 ADHD 아동을 위한 인지행동중재의 효과 연구

        Purpose: This study was a meta-analysis designed to identify effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions in alleviating main symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among school-aged children in Korea. Methods: Examination of several databases including Research Information Sharing Service, Korean Studies Information Service System, Data Base Periodical Information Academic and hand-searched article references, resulted in identification of 1,298 studies done between 2000 and 2013 of which 21 met the inclusion criteria. Comprehensive Meta-Analysis version 2.0 was used to analyze effect sizes, explore possible causes of heterogeneity, and check publication bias with a funnel plot and its trim-and-fill analysis. Results: Overall effect size of CBT intervention was large (g=1.08) along with each outcome of self-control (g=1.26), lack of attention (g=1.02), social skills (g=0.92), and hyperactivity (g=0.92). For heterogeneity, moderator analysis was performed, but no significant differences were found between the RCT (Randomized Controlled Trials) group and the NRCT (Non RCT) group. Also, meta-regression was performed using sample size, number of sessions, and length of session as predictors, but no statistically significant moderators were found. Finally, a funnel plot along with trim-and-fill analysis was produced to check for publication bias, but no significant bias was detected. Conclusion: Based on these findings, there is clear evidence that CBT intervention has significant positive effects on the main symptoms of school-aged children suffering ADHD. Further research is needed to target diverse age groups with ADHD along with more RCT studies to improve the effectiveness of the CBT intervention.
