Jakirok(ᄌᆞ긔록) is an autobiographical essay written by a woman. The writer of Jakirok(ᄌᆞ긔록) was not recorded on the book. But I could find the writer was the Madame of the family of Pungyang Jo(豊壤趙氏夫人, l772~1815) through The genealogy of the family of Cengpung Kim(Cengpungkimsisaebo, 淸風金氏世譜) and The genealogy of the Madame of Pungyang Jo family(Pungyangsibusaebo, 豊壤趙氏世譜). And I could know the tim: of being written by investigating the bibliographical contents and the order of the records. The contents from the first page to the 88th page was written in the march of 1792. The <postscript 1> of the 89th's 'a' page was written in 1809. The <postscript 2> and the memorial address from the 89th's 'b' page to the 98th page was written between 1809 and the year of her death(l815). Jakirok(ᄌᆞ긔록) is the reminiscence of a woman that is hard to find after the appearance of Hanjungrok(閑中錄), Kyuhanrok(閨恨錄), Kohangrok(苦行錄). The writer recorded minutely her loneliness, yearning, sorrow and resentment. Jakirok(ᄌᆞ긔록) is an essay about her real life. She recorded very frankly her feeling and sentiment. And she wrote the essay very convincingly and lyrically through the elaborate composition. She gave a vivid description of her time and the realistic life of the women.
