Purpose: This study aimed to identify high-risk groups for Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) in older people not approved for LTCI and to examine the characteristics of each high-risk group. Methods: This study was a retrospective study using the National Health Insurance Service database and included 7,724,101 older A decision- tree model was used to predict the high-risk groups for LTCI. The dependent variable was defined as LTCI eligibility. As independent variables, 78 variables consisting of personal factors, environmental factors, health status, and physical and cognitive abilities were used. Results: The prediction model to identify high-risk groups for LTCI was developed as the decision-tree model consisting of 19 end nodes with 10 risk factors. Eleven groups were identified as high-risk groups. The results showed the model could predict about 72% of the older people at high risk for LTCI needs using the NHIS database without the assessment of LTCI eligibility. Conclusion: The findings might be useful for the development of evidence-based preventative services and can contribute to preemptively discovering those who need preventive services in older adults.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the progress of transition from the non-graded to the approved for Long-term Care Insurance (LTCI) and analyze the factors affecting becoming beneficiaries. Methods: This study was designed as a prospective cohort study. Study population was the non-graded for LTCI in 2018. We tracked and observed study population until December 2020 by using big data. Variables in the analysis consisted of the individual (socioeconomic characteristics, health status, medical service usage) and community-related (physical environment, local infrastructure, local older population, local social capacity, health policy) factors. Competing risks regression analysis was used to identify determinants of transition from the non-graded to beneficiaries for LTCI. Results: We analyzed 52,308 non-graded for LTC insurance. The average period of transition from the non-graded to beneficiaries was about 15.61 months, the cumulative transition rate for 6 months was 4.8%, and the cumulative transition rate for 36 months was 49.6%. The individual factors (higher age, female, low income, lower daily living ability, lower cognitive-behavioral score, dementia, low back pain, and lower medical expenses), as well as the community factors (rural areas) were determinants for the transition to beneficiaries. Conclusion: To prevent non-graded from being persons with LTC needs, we suggested that it is necessary to develop a policy that can establish an integrated community-based support system by selecting vulnerable groups such as rural residents and low-income groups. In addition, additional research is needed to evaluate the effect of preventive programs for the non-graded on maintaining and improving their health and functional status.

We injection molded a thin type of plate and wedge type of plate with micro prizm patterns on its surface and investigated the fidelity of replication of the micro pattern depending on the process parameter such as mold temperature, melt temperature, injection rate or packing pressure. The size of the $90^{\circ}$ prizm pattern is $50{\mu}m$ and the size of the plate is about $335mm{\times}213mm$ and $400mm{\times}400mm$. The thicknesses are 2.6mm and 0.7mm at each edge of the wedge type of plate and 1mm at each edge of the thin type of plate. The fidelity of the replication turned out quite different according to the process parameters and location of the patterns on the plate. We measured the cavity pressure and temperature in real-time during the molding to analyze the effect of the local melt pressure and temperature on the micro pattern replication.

Recently as the micro surface features become higher and diverse in their shapes, the releasing of the molded features becomes more crucial for manufacturing of the micro patterned products. The higher aspect ratio of the features or more complex shape of the features results in larger releasing force, elongation or cohesive failure of the features during the releasing. Another issue would be the uniformity of the released surface features after molding, especially for applications with large area surface. The micro patterned optical film, one of typical applications for micro surface features, consists of two layers, the thermoplastic base film and the micro formed UV resin layer. Therefore two interfaces are typically involved during the forming of this micro featured film; one is between the base film and the UV resin and another is between the resin and the pattern master. To improve the releasing of the molded surface features, the adhesive characteristic was investigated at these two interfaces. A PET film was used as a base film and two UV curable resins with different surface energy were prepared for different adhesiveness. Also the two different pattern masters were employed; one is made from brass-copper alloy and fabricated with PMMA. The adhesiveness at each interface was measured for some combinations of these base film, UV resins and the masters and the effect of this adhesiveness on the releasing was investigated.

Various micro-patterns are recently adapted to many product due to their good optical or mechanical properties and the aspect ratio of the pattern has increased for better performance. The forming or molding process, however, becomes more difficult especially due to higher releasing force for the higher aspect ratio of pattern. Many good designs for micro-pattern could not be applied for commercialized product due to mainly this processing issues. In this paper, releasing forces were measured experimentally and analyzed for several major processing parameters such as releasing speed, starting point(curvature shape) material characteristic. For experiment, micro-pattern, 40㎛ wide and 200㎛ deep, was machined on the brass block which is 50㎜×50㎜ and UV curabel resin was used as a molding material. The UV resin was coated on the PET film and micro pattern was formed on the coated UV resin layer using the pattern master. After curing the UV resin, releasing force was measured by 90 peeling test using tension tester. From a series of this releasing experiment, some effects of the processing parameters on releasing force could be figured out.Put
