We could summerize the concept of the right and left mentioned in Nai-Gyung and some literature of oriental medicine as follow At first the right and left is a directional right and left which implys left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰), secondly it is also the road of eumyang which implys man-left-woman-right(男左女右), left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse. left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰) and man-left-woman-right(男左女右) are expressions of the movement of yang which is a core of chang, at the same time, left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse are expressions of the eum in response to the movement of yang. (go up and down of water and fire) Finally, both a directional right and left and a road of eumyang mean a road of going up and down of eumyang so, this is very important index in circulation and keeping ballance of eumyang (ki-Hyul:氣血) in the human body therefore, we can treat a disease with acupuncture in the use of this charater, for example when a disease occurs in the left side, we can treat it with acupuncture in the right side, the same applys to right.

토픽모델링을 활용한 신규간호사 관련 국내 연구동향 분석

Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze the research trends of articles on just graduated Korean nurses during the past 10 years for exploring strategies for clinical adaptation. Methods: The topics of new graduate nurses were extracted from 110 articles that have been published in Korean journals between January 2010 and July 2020. Abstracts were retrieved from 4 databases (DBpia, RISS, KISS and Google scholar). Keywords were extracted from the abstracts and cleaned using semantic morphemes. Network analysis and topic modeling were performed using the NetMiner program. Results: The core keywords included ‘education’, ‘training’, ‘program’, ‘skill’, ‘care’, ‘performance’, and ‘satisfaction’. In recent articles on new graduate nurses, three major topics were extracted by Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) techniques: ‘turnover’, ‘adaptation’, ‘education’. Conclusion: Previous articles focused on exploring the factors related to the adaptation and turnover intentions of new graduate nurses. It is necessary to conduct further research focused on various interventions at the individual, task, and organizational levels to improve the retention of new graduate nurses.

노인의 불면정도에 따른 우울 및 삶의 질

본 연구는 60세 이상의 노인 463명을 대상으로 불면정도를 평가하고, 그 영향에 따라 우울 및 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하기 위하여 실시되었다. 불면정도는 입면장애, 수면유지장애, 재입면 장애, 전반적인 수면양상의 네 가지 점수를 합산한 후 점수분포에 따라 정상, 경증, 중증으로 나누어 평가하였다. 우울은 변형된 Zung의 우울척도를 이용하고, 삶의 질은 SF-36을 이용하여 측정하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS 16.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, x²-test, t-test, ANOVA와 Scheffe 분석, multiple regression을 실시하였다. 연구에 참여한 노인의 75.6%가 불면증상을 호소하였으며, 그 중에서 경증은 65.0%, 중증은 10.6%이었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 불면정도는 성별, 결혼 상태에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 수면관련 특성에 해당하는 평균 수면시간, 취침시간, 기상시간에 따라 불면정도가 다르게 나타났다. 일반적 특성 및 수면관련 특성을 통제하여 불면정도가 우울 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 불면정도가 중증인 경우 우울정도가 심한 것으로 나타났다. 삶의 질의 경우는 불면이 경증인 경우, 불면이 중증인 경우 모두 삶의 질이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 불면증상을 호소하는 노인들은 불면정도를 고려한 간호중재가 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare depression and quality of life(QOL) according to the severity of insomnia in elderly. Method: The survey participants were 463 community-dwelling adults aged 65 or older. Severity of insomnia was measured by assessing a time-length to get to sleep, the number of breaks in sleep, a time-length to get to sleep after awakening, and a usual sleep pattern. Depression and QOL was measured, respectively, a modified Zung's depression scale and SF-36. The data were collected from May to June in 2005 and analyzed using the SPSS program for descriptive statistics, x²-test, t-test, and ANOVA with Scheffe test. Results: A majority of the participants(75.6%) presented mild(65.0%) or severe(10.6%) insomnia. Severity of insomnia was different depending on sex, a marriage status, and sleep patterns such as hours of sleep on average, time to go to bed, and time of awakening(p<0.05). Depression and QOL were related to the severity of insomnia(p<0.05). The elderly suffering from insomnia needs nursing interventions considering demographics and sleep patterns in oder to prevent depression and to improve QOL. Future research is in need for predicting and preventing depression and QOL in elderly.

당뇨병 모바일 앱 관련 연구동향: 텍스트 네트워크 분석 및 토픽 모델링

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify core keywords and topic groups in the ‘Diabetes mellitus and mobile applications’ field of research for better understanding research trends in the past 20 years. Methods: This study was a text-mining and topic modeling study including four steps such as ‘collecting abstracts’, ‘extracting and cleaning semantic morphemes’, ‘building a co-occurrence matrix’, and ‘analyzing network features and clustering topic groups’. Results: A total of 789 papers published between 2002 and 2021 were found in databases (Springer). Among them, 435 words were extracted from 118 articles selected according to the conditions: ‘analyzed by text network analysis and topic modeling’. The core keywords were ‘self-management’, ‘intervention’, ‘health’, ‘support’, ‘technique’ and ‘system’. Through the topic modeling analysis, four themes were derived: ‘intervention’, ‘blood glucose level control’, ‘self-management’ and ‘mobile health’. The main topic of this study was ‘self-management’. Conclusion: While more recent work has investigated mobile applications, the highest feature was related to self-management in the diabetes care and prevention. Nursing interventions utilizing mobile application are expected to not only effective and powerful glycemic control and self-management tools, but can be also used for patient-driven lifestyle modification.

간호대학생의 정서인식, 정서표현양면성, 정서조절이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify influence of emotional awareness, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and emotional regulation style on nursing student adjustment. Method: One hundred and sixty nine nursing students completed the questionnaires from May to June, 2013. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SAS v 9.3. Results: Ambivalence over positive emotional expressiveness, motivation of application for nursing-aptitude, emotional awareness-mood labeling, avoidant/distractive style of emotion regulation, and parents-both alive were identified as factors influencing nursing student adjustment. The model explained 37% of variance in nursing student adjustment. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that programs for promoting mood labeling and reducing ambivalence over positive emotional expressiveness and avoidant/distractive style of emotion regulation are important for college adjustment in nursing students. In addition, aptitude test for nursing applicants can be considered.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the lived experiences of breastfeeding women with gestational diabetes and to understand the meaning of breastfeeding for them and its encompassing context. Methods: Qualitative data were collected by interviewing 15 mothers with gestational diabetes. The transcript data from 5 focus group interviews and 2 individual interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: A core theme and 10 sub-themes emerged. The core theme that emerged was the maternal commitment enabled for a limited time a way to compensate for guilt. Because mothers had to control their blood sugar levels before childbirth, they were worried about whether it would harm the newborn baby and thus searched for dietary information. After the babies were born and separated from their mothers, they were free from gestational diabetes. Mothers then felt guilty about their unhealthy bodies when they were pregnant. This regret provides a motivational context for breastfeeding. However, the mothers realized that breastfeeding requires commitment and dedication and that they need breastfeeding support, such as being provided practical help. Conclusion: The results showed that the breastfeeding intention of women with gestational diabetes might originate from their feelings of guilt. Therefore, an integrated breastfeeding program that combines the empathetic support of women with similar experiences and that shares practical information from experts should be implemented in a structured and systematic way.

기능성 화장품 소재로써 오이풀 뿌리(Sanguisorba officinalis L. roots)의 다양한 생리활성 및 항염증 효과

본 연구에서는 기능성 화장품 소재로써 오이풀 뿌리 추출물의 다양한 생리활성 및 항염증 활성을 연구하였다. 오이풀 뿌리 추출물의 항산화능을 알아보기 위해 전자공여능을 측정한 결과 농도가 증가함에 따라 활성이 증가하였으며 1,000 μg/ml의 농도에서 93.8%의 우수한 항산화능을 나타내었다. 또한, ABTS+ radical scavenging activity 측정을 통해 알아본 오이풀 뿌리 추출물의 항산화력은 50 μg/ml 이상의 농도에서부터 99% 이상을 나타내었다. 미백활성 검증을 위해 tyrosinase 저해활성 측정을 시행하였으며 최고 농도인 1,000 μg/ml에서 37.7%의 저해율을 나타내었다. 오이풀 뿌리 추출물의 주름개선 활성을 알아보기 위해 elastase 및 collagenase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 농도 의존적으로 저해율이 증가하였으며 각각 1,000 μg/ml의 농도에서 84.9%, 90.3%의 저해율을 나타내었다. MTT assay에 따른 Raw 264.7 cell의 생존율을 확인한 결과 100 μg/ml 농도 이하에서 80% 이상의 세포 생존율을 보여 이하의 세포 관련 실험에서는 100 μg/ml이하의 농도에서 세포 실험을 시행하였다. 오이풀 뿌리 추출물의 항염증 활성을 알아보기 위해 NO assay를 측정한 결과 500 μg/ml의 농도에서 50.8%의 저해율을 나타내었으며 오이풀 뿌리 추출물이 염증발현 억제에 뛰어난 효능이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. Raw 264.7 cell에 오이풀 뿌리 추출물을 처리하여 단백질 발현저해를 확인한 결과 모든 인자에서 단백질 발현이 농도 의존적으로 저해됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 오이풀 뿌리가 항산화, 미백 및 주름개선의 생리활성과 항염 활성이 있는 기능성 화장품 소재로써 활용가능이 적합하다고 판단된다. In this study, the various physiological and anti-inflammatory activities of Sanguisorba officinalis L. roots (SR) were assessed for potential use as functional cosmetic materials. As a result of measuring electron-donating abilities to determine the antioxidant ability of SR extract, activity increased as the concentration increased, showing an excellent antioxidant capacity of 93.8% at a 1,000 μg/ml concentration. Further, the antioxidant power of SR extract, which was determined using an ABTS+ assay measurement, was more than 99% at concentrations of 50 μg/ml or more, while the tyrosinase inhibition rate was 37.7% at the highest concentration of 1,000 μg/ml. Consequently, the elastase and collagenase inhibition of SR extract measured 84.9% and 90.3%, respectively, at a 1,000-μg/ml concentration. As a result of confirming the survival rate of Raw 264.7 cells, the cell survival rate was determined to be 80% or more below a 100 μg/ml concentration, and subsequent cell-related experiments were conducted at concentrations below 100 μg/ml. Furthermore, after applying a NO assay to identify anti-inflammatory activity, it was confirmed that SR extract had an inhibitory rate of 50.8% at a concentration of 500 μg/ml, and it was excellent at suppressing the inflammatory expression. As a result of verifying protein expression by treating SR extract in Raw 264.7 cells, it was confirmed that expression was inhibited concentrated in all factors. Therefore, it is judged that SR can be used as a functional cosmetic material with antioxidant, whitening, and wrinkle-improving physiological effects and anti-inflammatory activities.
