        비정상 입성장을 통한 비연계 압전 세라믹 단결정 제조 연구

        In this manuscript, an interesting phenomenon is reported. It has been reported that the growth of single crystals is observed in donor-doped (K,Na)NbO₃ (KNN)-based ceramics. It is very interesting that the growth happens without the addition of a seed. The growth of huge grains (single crystal, approximately 30 mm,) occurs due to the abnormal grain growth (AGG) in KNN-based ceramics. In the AGG compositions, moreover, the seed plates can be synthesized by not topochemical reaction but simple molten salt synthesis (SMSS) which is a simple-and-cheap process. They can be a good candidate for the seeds at reactive templated grain growth (RTGG) or templated grain growth (TGG) process.

        차량 전장시스템 열화 평가 모니터링 기술 개발

        Purpose: From classic systems to cutting edge technologies, lots of electronic components are used in vehicles. A Vehicle’s environment, including temperature, vibration, shock, and humidity, can cause malfunctions and inconvenience drivers. Therefore, it is important to analyze electronic systems’ conditions after a long period of use. However, current testing methods are not appropriate to consider interdependency and interaction between systems in vehicles. Existing commercialized tools handle only one system at a time and just offer pass/fail results. “Global Diagnostic System (GDS)” is designed to resolve these problems. This portable tester inspects each system automatically and provides quantifiable results. This study proposes an approach to analyze durability of vehicles’ electronic systems using GDS. Methods: Research over 400 used cars, from compact to full size, with diverse mileages. Data are processed statistically by Python. Results: Each system demonstrates different degradation features. Systems like power windows show distinctive electrical signal differences while others do not. This change is based on contamination or deformation of components and creates problems, including noise and malfunction. Conclusion: This study analyzes degradation properties of electronic systems in vehicles. The results will allow designer to develop robust systems and testing methods to increase reliability of vehicles.

        Templated Grain Growth for High-Performance Lead-Free Piezoceramics

        As a new class of novel technologies for fabrication of piezoceramics, the templated grain growth (TGG) has been gaining tremendous attention due to the ability to align ferroelectric domains and thus improve piezoelectric properties, which are similar with the ones of single crystal. Towards the realization of textured grains in a specific direction, two-dimensional template materials should be preferentially needed with some specific conditions such as small lattice mismatch, similar crystal structure and composition compared to those of matrix piezoelectric ceramic powders. This mini review presents recent progress on TGG to provide high￾performance textured (K,Na)NbO3 ceramics as an ideal lead-free to lead-based piezoceramics with a focus on the fabrication fundamentals and underlying mechanism. Additionally, some parameters related to the fabrication of green body during a tape casting are surveyed. Finally, we provide an insight into challenges and future directions in the TGG-based piezoceramics.

        자외선 보호성분이 포함된 헤어오일의 자외선에 대한 모발 보호성능 연구

        This research investigated the protective effect on hair for 3 commercial hair oil products containing UV filters upon UVA and UVB irradiation. Hair tresses each weighing 2 g were prepared from black virgin hair. Hair tresses treated with 0.5 g of hair oil were irradiated by UVA (365 nm) and UVB (302 nm) lamp for up to 600 hours. Color of hair was measured using a spectrocolorimeter, tensile strength and elongation of hair were measured using a biological tensile tester, surface morphology was examined using a scanning electron microscope. Experimental results were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. Hair color and tensile strength were both affected by UVA and UVB irradiation. Significant differences in the color and tensile strength were observed between untreated hair and hair treated with hair oils. Good UV protective effect observed in Oil 2 and Oil 3 was attributable to the type and the combination of UV filters contained in the products.

        거버넌스가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 아세안 회원국을 대상으로 국가 거버넌스 수준이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 외국인직접투자가 투자대상국의 거버넌스와 삶의 질 사이의 상관관계를 조절하는 가를 규명하였다. 2000년에서 2019년까지 20년 동안의 자료를 이용하여 패널 분석하였고, 분석결과 거버넌스 수준이 높을수록(좋을수록) 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론을 얻었다. 이와 함께 국가의 외국인직접투자 유치수준이 높을수록 거버넌스와 삶의 질 사이의 관계를 강화하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 삶의 질 향상을 위해 국가 거버넌스 구조를 개혁함과 동시에 외국인직접투자의 유입을 높여 일자리를 제공하고 열악한 투자환경을 전반적으로 개선시킬 필요가 있음을 제안한다. This study analyzed the impact of the level of national governance on the quality of life of ASEAN member countries and investigated whether FDI moderates the correlation between governance and quality of life in the investment target country. A panel analysis was conducted using data for 20 years from 2000 to 2019, and as a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the higher the level of governance (the better), the more positive the quality of life. In addition, it was found that the higher the level of foreign direct investment in the country, the stronger the relationship between governance and quality of life. Accordingly, this study suggests that it is necessary to reform the national governance structure to improve the quality of life, provide jobs by increasing the inflow of foreign direct investment, and improve the overall poor investment environment.

        암 치료 시 발생하는 증상 및 부작용은 즉각적인 모니터가 필요한 영역으로, 최근 디지털헬스 시장의 성장과 다양한 의료 영역에서 모바일 중재 효과를 바탕으로 환자 중심의 ‘암환자 증상 모니터 어플리케이션’을 구현하였다. 그러나 암과 같은 대부분의 만성 질환은 정보의 취약 계층인 중년 및 노인에게 발생하여 모바일의 적극적인 활용과 적용에 대한 제한이 있어 왔다. 더불어 단순한 건강 지식을 넘어 증상 관련 정보를 이해할 수 있는 ‘건강 정보 이해능력(health literacy)’과 모바일에 대한 개념과 용어, 기술 수행 및 이를 처리하는 능력, 즉 디지털 리터리시(digital literacy)에 대한 통찰이 함께 필요하지만 현재까지 국내외 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실제 임상에서 암환자에게 증상 및 부작용 모니터를 효율적으로 도입하기 위해 ‘모바일 어플리케이션’에 대한 수행도를 확인하였고, 모바일 리터리스(mobile literacy)를 함께 탐색하였다.
