        허혈/재관류 뇌손상 동물모델에서 운동전처리의 보호효과

        There is increasing evidence that physical actrivity is associated with decreased stroke risk and incidence. The purpose of this study was to determine whether increased levels of exercise preconditioning could reduce brain damage in rats subjected to transient middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion. Tweety four male Sprageu-Dawley rats were subjected to 60 min occlusion and 24 h reperfusion. All rats were randomly assigned to one of three groups: vehicle-control, 20 min training groups, and all-out training groups. Brain damage was determined by evaluating brain infarction, edema and neurologic deficits. In rat with transient MCA occlusion, 20 min-exercise training significantly (0.05) reduced neurologic deficits, infarct size and edema in the frontoparietal cortex and the dorsolateral striatum. In contrast, the out out-exercise training did not produce neuroprotection in the MCA occluded stroke. Although we cannot completely rule out a neuroprotective effect on ischemic episode, our study suggest that a major neuroprotection is conferred during reperfusion for rats that have undergone exercise pre-conditioning. This exercise induced endogenous neuroprotection may be an effective strategy to ameliorate ischemia/reperfusion brain injury from stroke.

        카테킨의 섭취가 운동수행능력과 항산화능에 미치는 영향

        This study has been conducted in order to examine the effect of the regular intake of Catechin on swimming and antioxidant enzyme. For the experiment, rat were divided into three groups: the groups which had 100 ㎎/㎏, 10 ㎎/㎏ and none of Catechin. After 4 weeks, we obtained blood of the S.D rat which had just swirning. We measured the total length of their exercise and antioxidant enzyme(MDA, SOD and GPX). The results are as the followings. 1. There was no significant differences in weight gain, the average intake of beverage and the average intake of food between the groups. 2. There was a significant difference in the total time of swimming between the groups which had 100 ㎎/㎏ and which had none. 3. There was a significant difference in the SOD concentration in blood between the groups which had 100 ㎎/㎏ and none. 4. There were significant differences in the MDA concentration in blood between the groups which had 100 ㎎/㎏, 10 ㎎/㎏ and none. 5. There was a significant difference in the GPX -px concentration between the group which had 100 ㎎/㎏ and none. This experiment shows that the regular intake of Catechin improves swimming and increases antioxidant enzyme such as MDA, SOD and GPX-px in blood.

        수영 운동과 녹차 섭취가 쥐의 혈중 지질 성분에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate the effects of green tea and aerobic exercise on lipid metabolism of rats and prevention to cardiovacular disease a useful in drinking green tea and swimming exercise. Exercise is taken using swimming so that two groups are formed: one is for exercise groups(EX, GE) and the other for non-exercise groups (CO, G). In addition the diet-intake amount and body weight, water intake are measured for comparing a green tea ingestion groups(GE, G) with a non-intake groups(CO, G) and then blood lipid components can be analyzed after sixth weeks. Taking into account the blood lipid components analysis, blood total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and trigriceride of EG group and E group have smaller values then those non-green tea intake group(CO, EX). while HDL/LDL-cholesterol and HDL/T-cholesterol of EG, E group does a largest value then that of non-green tea intake groups(CO, EX) with significant difference (P<.05) ; these. hence, show efficient results for the HDL-cholesterol level, there are no significant difference(P<.05) among each group. Therefore, we can draw conclusion that exercise and green tea intake group(GE) has relatively better results then non-green tea intake groups(EX, CO). through blood lipid and furthermore the effects of earobic exercise is considers to play a supplementary role for the improvement of the blood lipid and liver lipid component.

        한국의 장애인 탈시설 현황과 과제

        장애인에 대한 동정심과 이타주의 현장으로 꼽히는 장애인거주시설은 그곳에서 살아가는 사람들에게 고통의 기록이자 욕구와 희망이 무시되는 절망의 현장이기도 하다. 2013년 현재 1,397개 장애인거주시설에 31,152명이 거주하고 있으며 이중 지적장애인이 19,330명으로 약 62%를 차지하고 있다. 이는 전체 지적장애인의 약 12.6%에 해당한다. 전체 지적장애인의 12.6%가 자신의 집이 아닌 시설에서 생활하고 있지만 이에 대한 지적장애학계의 관심은 저조한 상황이다. 그러나 최근 장애인복지 현장에서는 탈시설에 대한 운동적 요구와 정책적 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 초기 신체장애인 중심의 탈시설 논의가 발달장애인 중심으로 빠르게 전개되고 있는 상황이다. 이 연구는 한국의 장애인 탈시설 현황을 살펴보고 탈시설을 성공적으로 추진하기 위한 과제를 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌연구를 통해 한국의 탈시설 개념을 둘러싼 논의, 탈시설 저해요인과 극복과제, 탈시설 추진원칙을 검토한 후, 한국의 탈시설 전개과정과 현황을 분석한 뒤 이를 토대로 탈시설 과제를 제시하였다. The institutions deemed as the scene of sympathy and altruism are also the record of pain for the people living there and also the scene where the people``s desires and hopes are ignored. This paper is to explore current trends and tasks surrounding deinstitutionalization of people with disabilities in Korea. In specific, this paper looked into the concepts of deinstitutionalization, the policy & principles for deinstitutionalization, the Barriers of deinstitutionalization. And then analysed developmental process and the present conditions about institutional protection and deinstitutionalization in Korea. Based on this, suggest policy principles and tasks for deinstitutionalization. 1. building the national roadmap for deinstitutionalization 2. the national supports for the transition system toward deinstitutionalization 3. stopping to build new institutions and banning unnecessary entrance into institutions 4. implementing pilot projects to dissolve large scale institutions and relocating employees 5. protecting the institutions at the beginning period toward deinstitutionalization, preparing for the coexistence of deinstitutionalization and residential care, and providing an inducement for voluntarily resolving institutions 6. ensuring that the person concerned participates in the transition process and policy making toward deinstitutionalization and supporting independent living centers 7. Transforming the budget support system into the demander side 8. supporting and promoting research on the effects and costs of deinstitutionalization

        어업에서의 근골격계 문제에 관한 인간공학적 연구에 대한 문헌조사

        Objective: This study aims to review the ergonomic literature about the musculoskeletal problems in fishing, and to suggest directions of further studies. Background: Until the 1960s, fishing was one of the dominant industries in the economy of Korea, but nowadays it is of little importance. However, the fishing industry should be sustained and the health of the people involved in the industry should be maintained and enhanced. Method: The peer-reviewed articles from international and domestic academic journals published after year 2000 were searched using Web of Science, Google Scholar, DBPia and KISS. The literature was searched by the keywords of "fishing", "fishery", "fishermen", "musculoskeletal", "ergonomic", "occupational", "injury", "health", and their combinations. Results: 20 international articles were analyzed. They could be classified into the descriptive studies on problem identification (8 articles, 40%), biomechanical or quantitative studies (4 articles, 20%), studies on the musculoskeletal symptoms (4 articles, 20%), development of intervention (2 articles, 10%), and literature review (2 articles, 10%) Only 2 domestic articles were found. Conclusion: It was confirmed that the musculoskeletal problems in fishing are prevalent and severe. More studies are expected on the ergonomic design of fishing vessels and machines/tools used in fishing work. Application: The results will be applied to guide the direction of further ergonomic research to lead the development of fishing industry.

        여름철 폭염주의보 수준의 열 스트레스가 여성노인의 심폐체력 및 면역기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of extreme heat environmental on cardiorespiratory fitness and immune function in elderly women. The subjects of this study were eight post-menopausal elderly women without any metabolic disease. All eight subjects were asked to do treadmill exercise(modified bruce`s protocol) in the laboratory and experimental temperature within laboratory were adjusted to two condition: Extreme heat temperature(33±0.5°C), normal temperature(20±0.5°C) and maintained 50±3% humidity condition. Each experimental exercise were monitored and analyzed the change of NK cell and immunoglobulin(IgG, IgA, IgM). Cardiorespiratory fitness(respiratory quotient, total exercise time, heart rate) was a significant difference at exercise and recovery between two condition(p<.05). In extreme heat temperature, respiratory quotient and heart rate were more rapidly increased, resulted in significantly higher than normal temperature(p<.05). Immune function(immunoglobulin and NK cell) was significantly decreased at post-exercise compared to pre-exercise(p<.05), Immune function were significantly decreased in extreme heat temperature(p<.05). These results show that elderly women can decrease their cardiorespiraory fitness and immune function on extreme heat temperature.

        Effects of Regular Exercise and L-Arginine Intake on Abdominal Fat, GH/IGF-1 Axis, and Circulating Inflammatory Markers in the High Fat Diet-Induced Obese Aged Rat

        본 연구는 비만과 노화가 동시에 유발된 흰쥐에서 12주간의 트레드밀 운동과 L-arginine의 투여가 복부지방량, GH, IGF-Ⅰ, somatostatin, fibrinogen, PAI-1에 미치는 영향을 관찰하고 이를 개선하는데 더욱 효과적인 방법을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 단독 처치 군과 복합 처치 군으로 나누어 실험하여 그 효과를 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 복부지방량은 통제집단에 비해 모든 집단에서 유의하게 감소하였다(p<0.01). 2. AG+EX, AG+LA+EX집단에서 통제집단에 비해 GH의 혈중 농도가 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<0.1). 3. AG+EX, AG+LA+EX집단에서 통제집단에 비해 IGF-Ⅰ의 혈중 농도가 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise and/or L-arginine on abdominal fat, IGF-1 on GH/IGF-1 axis, fibrinogen, and PAI-1 in aged and obese rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with a D-galactose aging inducing agent (50 mg/kg) given intraperitoneally for 12 weeks. Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were treated and divided into four groups: aging-high fat diet group (AG+HF), AG+HF with L-arginine intake group (AG+LA), AG+HF with exercise group (AG+EX), and AG+EX with L-arginine intake group (AG+LA+EX). The experimental rats underwent treadmill training (60 min/day, 6 days/week at 0% gradient) for 12 weeks. L-arginine was given orally (150 mg/kg/day) for 12 weeks. After the experiment, blood was collected from the left ventricle and abdominal fat was extracted. The results showed that GH was significantly increased in AG+EX and AG+AL+EX. IGF-1 was significantly increased in both the AG+AL+EX and AG+EX group (p<0.05), while fibrinogen and PAI-1 were not significantly different among the groups. Abdominal fat was significantly decreased in the AG+LA, AG+EX, and AG+LA+EX groups (p<0.05) compared with the AG+HF group. In conclusion, this study suggests that exercise alone or L-arginine alone or a combination not only increases the GH and IGF-1 concentration, but also decreases the abdominal fat mass.
