The inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image can be effective in the target recognition because it provides the 2-D image using the frequency data measured at various observation angles. However, because scatterers must be properly spread to yield good classification results, the authors analyzed the possibility of forming the effective ISAR image for the three observation scenarios of the targets moving in formation and the method of the effective target recognition. Simulation result using 3-D point scatterers of real fighters flying in formation, the range-Doppler algorithm and the proposed segmentation method of targets flying in formation shows that the proposed scheme is effective for the target classification when it is moving obliquely.
이유자돈에 있어서 복합 생균제(MR-1)의 사료 내 첨가가 성장 능력 및 생화학적 조성, 면역 반응에 미치는 영향

이 연구의 목적은 이유자돈에 있어서 목장토에서 자체 분리 동정한 19종의 혼합 미생물 제제인 MR-1이 in vitro 실험(축 종별 병원성 미생물에 대한 항균효과 검정)과 in vivo 실험(성장, 혈액 생화학, 면역력 검정)에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 38일령 이유자돈 69두를 처리구 당 23두씩 나누어 대조구(basal diet; No-Antibiotics), 항생 제구(Antibiotics), MR-1구(No-Antibiotics + MR-1)로 배치하여 45일 동안 급여시켰다. MR-1에 대한 축 종별 병원성 미생물에 대한 항균 효과 결과 E. coli K88와 S. Typhimurium균에서 약한 항균효과(+)를 나타내었으며, E. coli K99균에 대해서는 아주 강한 항균효과(++++)를 나타내었다. MR-1에 대한 일 당 증체량, 일 당 사료섭취량 및 사료요구율 결과는 MR-1의 사료 내 첨가에 의해 일 당 증체량은 증가 30 g 증가된 반면, 일 당 사료 섭취량은 감소하여 결과적으로 사료요구율이 대조구에 비해 유의하게 개선된 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 혈액 생화학적 분석의 결과는 WBC (백혈구)농도가 다른 처리구보다 높게 변화하였으며, MCH (평균 혈구 헤모글로빈 량) 농도 및 MCHC (평균 혈구 헤모글로빈 농도)는 각각 항생제구와 대조구보다 유의하게 높아졌다(p<0.05). 혈장 내 cytokine production의 농도 결과 MR-1의 사료 내 첨가에 의해 TNFα의 경우 처리간 변화가 없었으나, IFNγ의 경우 항생제구에서 다른 처리구보다 유의하게 낮아진 반면, MR-1의 경우 대조구와 동일하게 유지된 결과를 나타내었다. 따라서 이유자돈에 있어서 혼합 미생물 제제인 MR-1은 병원성 미생물에 대한 항균력이 있을 뿐 만 아니라 사료 내 첨가 급여 시 생산성에서 효과가 유의하게 나타났으며, 항생제에 따른 바이러스 저항 인자인 IFNγ의 감소 없이 유지되는 것으로 나타나 이유자돈에 있어서 항생제 대체제로서 산업적으로 이용이 적합할 것으로 판단된다. We evaluated the growth performance, biochemical characteristics, and immune responses in weaning pigs given a diet containing MR-1 (0.2%/feed) or antibiotics (0.1%/feed) for 45 days. In vitro study showed that MR-1 has antibacterial activity against a variety of strains of pathogenic bacteria, especially a strain of cattle-derived Escherichia coli K99 (E. coli K99) by agar diffusion assay. In the in vivo model, 0.2% MR-1-given group clearly ameliorated the weight gain and feed efficiency in the growth performance of weaning pigs compared to the basal diet group (p<0.05). Additionally, 0.2% MR-1 induced an elevation in the levels of mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) and showed a similar pattern (TNFα and IFNγ production) to the antibiotic treated pigs. Taken together, we suggest that 0.2% MR-1 makes probiotics an alternative to antibiotics in weaning pigs.

Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR) image is 2-dimensional RCS(Radar Cross Section) distribution of a target. In ISAR imaging, the translational motion of the target seriously blurs the image so it must be compensated for. The main step in compensating for the translational motion is the phase adjustment which compensates for the phase errors after the range alignment. However, existing methods are conducted assuming the solo flight, which can yield degraded performance when applied to targets in formation flight. Therefore, this paper introduces four existing methods for translational motion compensation, analyzes the performance of the four methods in ISAR imaging of targets in formation flight. Simulation results demonstrate that the minimum Tsallis entropy phase adjustment method were the most adequate for the formation flight.

Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR) image is 2-dimensional radar cross section distributions of a target. For target approaching along radar’s line of sight(LOS), the bistatic ISAR can compensate for the weakness of the monostatic ISAR which can not obtain the vertical resolution of the image. However, bistatic ISAR have longer processing times and variability in scattering mechanisms than monostatic ISAR, so target identification using only bistatic ISAR images can be inefficient. Therefore, this paper analyzes target identification performance using monostatic and bistatic ISAR images of targets approaching along radar’s LOS and proposes a method of target identification through fusion of two radars. Simulation results demonstrate that identification performance through fusion is more efficient than identification performance using only monostatic, bistatic ISAR images.

In order to set up radar cross section(RCS) reduction factors for a target, the scattering point position of the target should be identified through inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) image analysis. For this purpose, ISAR image focusing is important. Maritime ship is non-linear maneuvering in the sea, however, which blur the ISAR image. To solve this problem, translational and rotational motion compensation are essential to form focused ISAR image. In this paper, hourglass and ISAR image analysis are performed on the collected data in the sea instead of using the prediction software tool, which takes much time and cost to make computer-aided design(CAD) model of the ship.

Multi-aspect range profile (RP) obtained using a radar can provide more improved automobile identification than the single-aspect RP in terms of the limited factor such as a narrow band. In this paper, we conducted a research on the efficiency of multi-aspect about improved factors to classify the automobile compared with single-aspect using compressed useful features based on principle component analysis (PCA) and a simple nearest neighbor classifier. In simulations using five automobiles composed of 3D scatterers, Multi-aspect of Narrow band lower than 100MHz were provided better classification ratios than single-aspect in factors of SNR, threshold, observation angle and order of PCA.

This paper proposes a high-lumen low-power pattern generation system with operation software for 3D scanning. The proposed system occupies a core block of the 3D scanner to generate pattern-structured white light using a light engine and a DMD(Digital Micro-mirror Device) driver board. The system also has a window resolution of 912×1140 and a pattern-structured light source. Compared to recently reported results, the proposed system showed increased lumen by 40.83% and less than half power consumption at the focus range of 2m. This system could be applicable to 3D scanners, creating smart factory automation robot with regional industry.

본 논문에서는 국방과학연구소에서 운용하는 KOMSAR(Korea Miniature Synthetic Aperture Radar)장비로 측정한 실제 항공기의 데이터를 이용하여 효율적인 표적식별을 수행하였다. 표적식별과정은 수신된 모든 데이터에 대하여 거리측면도를 구한 다음 4개의 표적으로 분리한 후, 효과적인 특성벡터를 구성하여 nearest neighbor(NN) 구분기로 표적식별 성능을 수행하였다. 표적식별수행 결과, 높은 구분성능으로 구분이 가능하였다.
