        비대칭 층을 가지는 인공재료모델을 이용한 일반 평판구조물의 위상최적화

        본 연구에서는 판 구조물의 최적위상을 찾기 위한 비대칭 층을 가지는 인공재료모델을 이용한 위상최적화기법을 제시하였다. 구절점 판요소를 형성하기 위하여 판의 일차전단변형을 고려하는 Reissner-Mindlin 판이론이 도입되었다. 최소화하고자 하는 변형에너지를 목적함수로 하고 구조물의 초기부피를 제약함수로 채택하였다 인공재료모델에 존재하는 다공성물질의 구멍의 크기를 조절하기 위하여 최적정기준법을 바탕으로 하는 크기조절알고리듬을 도입하였다. 제시된 위상최적화 기법의 성능을 조사하기 위하여 수치예제를 수행하였다. 수치해석결과로부터 제시된 위상최적화기법은 판구조물의 최적위상을 도출하는데 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 특히 제시된 비대칭 층모델은 판구조물의 보강재를 보다 실제적으로 도출하는데 유용할 것으로 나타났다. The unsymmetrically layered artificial material model is consistently introduced to find the optimum topologies of the plate structures. Reissner-Mindlin (RM) plate theory is adopted to formulate the present 9-node plate element considering the first-order shear deformation of the plates. In the topology optimization process, the strain energy to be minimized is employed as the objective function and the initial volume of structures is adopted as the constraint function. In addition, the resizing algorithm based on the optimality criteria is used to update the hole size introduced in the proposed artificial material model. Several numerical examples are rallied out to investigate the performance of the proposed technique. From numerical results, the proposed topology optimization techniques are found to be very effective to produce the optimum topology of plate structures. In particular, the proposed unsymmetric stiffening layer model make it possible to produce more realistic stiffener design of the plate structures.

        미국 아르데코 건축의 근대성과 지역주의

        Art Deco is a decorative and eclectic design style, popularized at the interwar period. The term Art Deco derives from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in1925. The aim of the exposition was to create new modern aesthetics. This exposition introduced the modern decorative and industrial art to the world and influenced all designers of area, including architects, interior designers, industrial designers, craftsmen, fashion designers, etc. Art Deco designers applied inspirations from a variety of sources and movements such as the Cubist abstract, the Neoclassical refinement, Egyptian exotic elements, Babylonian and Aztec temples, the machine aesthetic, avant-garde movements, etc to their modern works. Art Deco style rapidly spread all over the design areas nationwide in America. In Art Deco architecture, in particular, its inception was French but its domination was American. Skyscrapers, airplanes, automobiles, ocean liners, jazz, Hollywood film, streamline, and native Indian symbols are the defining features of American Art Deco. This study began from questions on how these features are expressed and stylized to decoration elements as the modern aesthetics in American Art Deco architecture. Thus, the purpose of the study is to find out the ornamental and eclectic factors of Art Deco style and to define a concept of the modernity and the regionalism of Art Deco architecture in America. This article provides an overview of the decoration style of Art Deco architecture in America through the analysis of ornamental and eclectic factors reflecting diverse roots. It also analyzes the wide variety of building examples of American Art Deco which represent regionalism. In addition, this study focuses on Art Deco architecture in Miami, Florida. Miami is one of typical cities that has the most unique regional aspects of 1920’s to 1940’s in Art Deco architecture. Miami Art Deco architecture reveals the tropical and nautical references such as streamlined and curved walls, exotic animal motifs, flora and fauna motifs, and marine motifs: use of glass block, porthole Window, terra-cotta, and pastel color stucco.

        등기하해석법을 적용한 평면구조물의 위상최적화

        In this paper, the isogeometric topology optimization (TO) technique is presented for plane structures. Isogeometric concept uses the same NURBS basis functions for both the computer-aided geometric design (CAGD) representation and the field functions. Therefore, the exact geometric models are naturally used in TO process. In addition, the NURBS basis functions are consistently used as the material distribution functions. Since the point-wise design variables are adopted, the proposed TO technique is completely free from checker boarding phenomenon without additional constraints or a filtering technique. The validity and applicability of the presented TO technique are demonstrated by solving TO problems for plane structures and we also investigate the effect of isogeometric analysis parameters to the optimum topology.

      • 입원 환아 부모가 지각한 간호사의 의사소통 기술

        This study is descriptive survey research that examined nurses` communication skills perceived by inpatient children`s parents for short period due to acute diseases in children`s hospital and aimed to make a qualitative improvement of nursing with the basic materials for improving nursing service for inpatient children. Methods: The subjects were 177 parents of children who were hospitalized in a children`s hospital in Gwangju from May 1 to June 16, 2009. A structured questionnaire which consisted of a communication and interpersonal skills developed by Yodkowsky et al. (2006). Data collected from them were processed and analyzed with the SPSS/WIN program. Results: Nurses` communication skills as perceived by the parents of inpatients scored an average 4.11, communication scored 4.02, and interpersonal relationship scored 4.18. The scores of interpersonal relationship were mostly higher. Nurses` communication skills as perceived by the parents of inpatients according to general characteristics showed statistically significant differences depending on the number of children and the birth order. Conclusion: it was considered that nurses` emotional characteristics were important for inpatient children. it is thought that the positive communication skills considering the emotional aspects in planning and performing nursing for inpatient children should be achieved.

      • 미국 동남부 거주자의 주방 실내디자인 선호도 분석과 디자인 경향 연구

        The kitchen has been the hub of the home and has changed to an open space addresses with multifarious roles such as an area for cooking, a space for parties or events, a space for home office duties, and so on. This article provides an overview of the preference analysis that addresses the style of the kitchen interior design and trends since 2000, targeting total 100 southeastern residents in Florida and Georgia, the United States. The preference analysis of the residential kitchen design focuses on showing how kitchen interior design trends have been created through selection and use of a wide variety of elements, including that of design styles, kitchen layouts, cabinet colors, cabinet hardwares, countertop materials, sink materials, sink installation styles, sink formats, appliances colors and materials, range hood styles, wallcoverings and backsplash materials and flooring materials. The purpose of the study is to find out characteristics of kitchen design and to analyze these characteristics to influence present and future kitchen design trends. Furthermore, this study will show the preferred kitchen designs to interior designers, educators, architects, etc. to help these people lead the new trends. The article suggests to emphasize the importance of researches of interior design preferences for the study of the trends.

        다하중 경우를 고려한 철근콘크리트 구조물의 스트럿-타이 모델

        This paper provides optimal strut-tie models (STM) of reinforced concrete (RC) structures produced by using topology optimization (TO) technique with multi-load case. The STM approach has been widely used to design the so-called D-region of RC structures where strain distributions appear to be highly nonlinear. However the conventional STM design approach requires the intuition and experiences of structural engineers to produce a proper design for D-region especially in case of complex geometries or/and load conditions. TO techniques were then introduced to make the design process easier. But most cases have been dealt with single-load case although the multi-load case should be considered for the STM design in engineering practice. Therefore, TO technique with the multi-load case is introduced to deal with the STM design of RC structures. From numerical results, it is found to be that the TO technique with multi-load case can produce new layouts of STM and they can be effectively used for the design of STM of RC structures.

        신종플루 확산(2009년) 이후 호흡기감염 아동 보호자의 감염관리 지식정도 및 수행정도

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the knowledge and practice level of infection managements in child guardians with respiratory infections after H1N1 diffusion of 2009. Methods: The data were collected during February and March 2010 using a self-report questionnaire. The participants were 228 child guardians. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, means, SD, t-test, F-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and Cronbach's alpha with the SPSS 17.0 program. Results: Mean age of the guardians and children were 37.8 years, 4.1 years respectively. For knowledge level of respiratory infections, hand washing method had the highest score and snuffles prevention method, the lowest. For practice level for respiratory infections, environmental hygiene management had the highest score and symptom management, the lowest. Infection management knowledge and practice level had a positively significant correlation in every area. Conclusion: The results indicate the necessity of continual education on infection management, and that the most efficient timing for the education appears be for participants during their first pregnancy or after the woman has delivered her child.

        구조물의 위상최적화를 위한 매트랩 코드

        In this paper, we provides a two-dimensional topology optimization (TO) code which is an extended version of the 99-line TO code written by Sigmund. The 99-line TO code has been very popular for both engineers and researchers. However, it is only applicable to the rectangular design domain with square finite element (FE). Therefore, a new TO code is here produced by the extension of the optimality criteria and the filtering process. In addition, the input routine and FE analysis module are introduced to deal with more general TO problems. Numerical examples are carried out to verify the capability of the present Matlab code. From numerical results, it is found to be that the present code can successfully optimize arbitrary shapes of two-dimensional structures without any restrictions. Finally, we provide the present code as a prototype of structural TO Matlab code for future research works.
