        러일전쟁 이전 대한제국 원수부의 군무정책 강화와 군사운영의 성격

        Since its establishment, The Marshal Headquarters that directed the military affairs had to respond to the realized foreign threats. Because both Russia and Japan that wanted to occupy the impact on the Korean Peninsula continued arms race. Meanwhile, the turmoil in the border areas became frequent in accordance with the spread of the Boxer Rebellion(義和團事件), and as the eight countries allied forces became visualized, The Great Han Empire regularized ‘the military superiority police’ through the revision of 「Marshal Headquarters’ system」 and the expansion of armaments. The Great Han Empire hereby became to set government centering on the military operations institutionally. Due to the outbreak of war to suppress the boxers, the large-scale invasion of the Qing bandit(淸匪) and the overall problems followed by the influx of refugees. On this, Marshal Headquarters reinforced the military guard troops extensively in the border areas and realized ‘the linear defense’ which was arranged circumspectly by troops. Through this, the Qing bandit, that is a mediatory factor, was able to be repelled and the intervention of foreign forces blocked. Meanwhile, internal turmoil had to be suppressed and the power of the central government had to be shown abroad since Russia and Japan were navigating the intervention cause in various ways. Therefore, local appeasement was made in the form of the stationed troops on the key points and putting the military troops on the area where the situation took place. In this regard, the foreign protection, which could be extended to foreign affairs, was an important issue. In addition to this, Marshal Headquarters tried to achieve stability in the region where the troop was dispatched through the military inspection and made an effort to establish fundamental principles and improve morale of the military such as the realization of institutional care for the fallen soldiers.

        미국의 화웨이 제재와 약탈적 패권 -미일 반도체 마찰 사례와의 비교를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 미국의 화웨이 제재가 ‘약탈적 패권’이라는 구조적 변화에서 기인했다고 주장한다. 즉, 쇠퇴하는 패권국이 패권을 유지하고 도전국에 대해 경제적ㆍ기술적 우위를 확보하기 위한 필요성에서 비롯된 현상이라는 것이다. 이를 경험적으로 증명하기 위해 기술영역에서의 ‘약탈적 패권’ 사례라고 볼 수 있는 1980-90년대의 미일 반도체 마찰과 화웨이 사태를 비교하였다. 두 사례는 비록 도전국의 성격이나 미국 내 정책결정 과정 등 여러 분야에서 차이가 존재했으나, 결론적으로 패권국의 역량 쇠퇴와 도전국의 경제ㆍ기술 추격이라는 공통점을 보여주었다. 이 연구는 길핀의 ‘약탈적 패권’ 논의가 오늘날의 국제정치경제를 분석함에 있어서도 여전히 유용함을 보여준다. This study maintains that the U.S. sanction against Huawei is stemmed from a structural shift, called ‘predatory hegemony’. In other words, U.S., a weakening hegemon, sees the need to maintain its hegemony and have the upper hand in the current economic and technological competition with China, a rising power. To support our argument empirically, we review the history of US-Japan conflict in semiconductor technology in 1980s to 1990s, which can be seen as a case of ‘predatory hegemony’ in the technology sector, and compare it to the current Huawei incident. Although there were differences In many areas both cases showed the decline of the hegemonic power and the challenger’s economic and technological pursuit. As a result, our empirical analysis show that Gilpin’s ‘predatory hegemony’ argument is still a useful tool in analyzing phenomena in the realm of international political economy.

        외식업관리자의 리더십, 종업원의 직무태도 및 직무특성의 관계연구

        This paper divided the leadership styles of the manager of a business unit of food service into transactional leadership and transformational leadership, and investigated how they influence the job attitudes of the employees by moderating of job characteristics. To achieve the purpose of this study, this paper analyzed the studies on leadership in business administration and the advanced empirical research. Independent variables in the study model are transactional and transformational leadership, dependent variables are additional efforts, organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and moderation variable is job characteristics. This paper gave operational definitions to the variables and set up the hypotheses to test the study model. The measuring tools based on the operational definitions are MLQ-5X, MLQ-1 and MSQ. The result of this study shows as follows: First, transformational leadership influences additional efforts, organizational commitment and job satisfaction more and positively than transactional leadership. Second, job characteristics moderates the relations between leadership, additional efforts, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The moderation effects of job characteristics on transformational leadership are more than that on transactional leadership.

        인위적 입도조정에 따른 지반의 강도특성 변화

        일반적으로 지반의 강도가 강한 지반은 입도분포가 양호하다고 예상할 수 있다. 그러나 Gap입도로 이루어진 지반으로 입도분포가 불량하더라도 지반의 강도가 강한 경우가 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 사실에 근거하여 인위적으로 조성한 Gap 입도시료와 입도분포가 균일한 시료, 양호한 시료를 직접전단시험을 통하여 지반의 강도정수를 구하고 이를 비교 분석하였다. 또한 13mm 골재와 19mm 골재를 이용한 평판재하시험으로 확대 적용하여 현장 적용성과 입도에 따른 강도 변화의 재현성을 확인하였다. 실험 결과 입자크기비와 내부마찰각이 상관관계가 있음을 확인 할 수 있었고, 특정한 입자 크기비의 범위에서 전단저항각이 상당히 커지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 평판재하시험으로 극한지지력을 산정한 결과 입도조정법이 강도증가율에 크게 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 위의 직접전단 시험을 통한 시험적 검증과 평판재하시험을 통한 재현성 확인을 통해 입도분포가 좋지 않음에도 간단한 입도 조정만으로 지반의 강도 증진을 유도할 수 있었다. In this study, an artificially formed Gap graded soil, designed to increase its shear strength, was analyzed to determine the strength parameters through direct shear tests. Uniform and fine grain size samples were compared to the Gap graded soil to investigate the increase in the shear strength. Plate loading tests were conducted using 13mm and 19mm aggregates to confirm the reproducibility of the strength enhanced samples for site application. This test confirmed that the particle size ratio and the internal friction angle are correlated to the shear strength, and the shear resistance angle significantly increased in the specific particle size ratio range. The calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity by the plate load test demonstrated that the grain size adjustment method greatly influences the strength increase rate. Therefore, the findings were verified and it was confirmed that a high shear strength is achievable despite the existence of a poor particle size distribution.

        조선 명종대 을묘왜변에 관한 군과 정부의 대응

        Perpetually invading the coastal regions and harming people as well as stealing properties, the Japanese invaders were considered as the main enemy to the national defense policy of Joseon. Accordingly, Joseon used the lord of Tsushima in order to subdue the invaders. However, as the Japanese invaders consisted of pirates of different nationalities, the Tsushima lord did not have absolute power or authority over them. Nevertheless, Joseon maintained a hard-line policy instead of developing more sophisticated policy based on thorough analysis of the likelihood of invasion and preparing measures against different groups. As a result, with rigorous preparation including selection of landing site in advance, the Japanese invaders carried out Eulmyo Invasion. They used a deceptive tactic in order to induce minimal army from Joseon and secured a dominant position. Also, by dominating a major site as their foothold, they blocked assistance from other regions and destroyed the Joseon army including the regional commander during battle. This not only caused mayhem in the command system but also demoralized Joseon army. However, despite the disadvantageous situation, the commanders in Jeollado provided soldiers based on the regional defense system, and strove to limit the invasion by the Japanese. Particularly, the Yeongamseong battle, which marked a watershed in the invasion, demonstrated the rational response of the commanders who succeeded in preventing the Japanese invaders from expanding their domain. Later, the regional commanders were recognized for their achievement by being granted honor. Meanwhile, during Eulmyo Invasion, the central government failed to operate effectively. Especially, it did not provide adequate military force and supplies, causing difficulties to the regional army. Furthermore, during the invasion, the central government officials of Joseon failed to take practical measures and only used the invasion as a pretext to expand their political authority. Therefore, it is necessary to reevaluate Eulmyo Invasion based on the efficient response provided in the battle, as opposed to unsuccessful diplomatic policy and strategically inadequate measures provided by the central government.

        Scleroderma is rare disease of unknown etiology characterized by fibrosis of skin and internal organs such as lung, gastrointestinal tract, kidney, heart and so on. The association between scleroderma and malignancy has been a controversy during recent years. We report a 77-year old female who had scleroderma and squamous cell carcinoma of esophagus. She was diagnosed as esophageal carcinoma and then sclerotic skin change developed in both hands and feet 3 months later. We present this case with a review of literatures.

        CNC 첨가에 따른 납축전지의 전기화학적 특성연구

        CNC (Carbon Nano Colloid) was used as an additive to the positive electrode to improve the discharge performance of sealed lead-acid batteries, The cathode active material ($PbO_2$) has a relatively low utility of less than 60 % compared with other kind of batteries, such as Ni-MH and Lithium ion, In this study, to overcome the above-mentioned problem we investigated the effects of CNC addition on the enhancement of electrical connection with not-utilized $PbO_2$ and resultantly electrical conductivity of electrode, We examined low rate discharge capacities, high rate discharge capacities and internal resistances of the batteries containing various amounts of CNC. From these results, we found out that the addition of CNC into the positive electrode made a significant improvement in high rate discharge capacity, We also suggested the optimum content of CNC material in positive electrode.
