Hydraulic systems are used mainly because the steering gear requires a large power source from the ship`s operation as a key drive that enables the setting and operation of the course. The hydraulic steering is divided into a swash plate control method of a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic valve control method according to a driving method, and classified into a ram and a vane type according to the steering unit. In this study, we construct a simulation model using AMESim S/W and analyze the characteristics of the basic steering system. Also, operation performance and energy efficiency are analyzed according to the steering system. Through analysis of the steering system, the problem of the existing steering system is finally analyzed and the steering is optimally designed.

The mechanical-hydraulic continuously variable transmission, HMT, is emerging as a core technology for medium and large tractors that are geared to the aging trend of rural areas. HMT combines the two transmission structures of mechanical power and hydraulic power to complement each other’s shortcomings, so it has excellent mobility, almost no shift shock, and transmission efficiency is improved. The HMT implementation is the HSU, which is mandatory, including a detailed description, a detailed description, and a detailed description. In this research, we analyze the internal structure and power transmission of HSU and planetary gear that are the core technologies of HMT, present the test results of prototype, and introduce the current state of HMT research conducted in Korea.
