북한 비핵화 방안의 발전적 모색 : JCPOA 사례분석을 통한 DIME 구상 적용방안

북한은 핵·미사일 개발로 인한 경제제재, 코로나19 방역으로 인한 북· 중 국경 폐쇄, 기상이변으로 인한 식량부족 등 삼중고(triple whammy)를 겪으며 일방적으로 차단했던 남북 연락통신선을 복구하는 등 남북관계 개선에 대한 의지를 일부 보이고 있다. 또한 미국의 바이든 대통령과 외교안보팀 고위직 대부분은 이란과의 공동포괄행동계획(JCPOA: The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action)에 참여하였고 이 합의를 주요한 외교적 성과로 인식하고 있으며 북한과의 핵협상에서도 이를 적용해야 한다고 주장하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이란의 공동포괄행동계획 사례를 DIME (Diplomacy, Intelligence, Military, Economy) 요소로 분석하여 북한 특수성에 맞는 북한의 비핵화 방안을 DIME 구상으로 모색하는 것이다. 북한 비핵화를 위해 외교적 구상으로 ‘다자주의에 입각한 단계별 비핵화 합의’가 필요하며 정보적 구상으로 북한을 NPT체제로 복귀시켜 국제 핵비확산 체제 안에서 미확인되고 핵심적인 핵프로그램에 대한 정보에 접근하는 ‘선택적 검증’을 추진해야 할 것이다. 군사적 구상으로 북한의 핵고도화와 핵사용에 대한 ‘전방위 억제전략(full spectrum deterrence strategy)’이 필요할 것이며 경제적 구상으로 ‘비핵화 조치에 상응하는 대북제재 완화’를 추진하며 중대한 합의 불이행시 원상복구(snap-back) 할 수 있는 조항을 포함시켜야 할 것이다. North Korea is suffering from triple whammy, including economic sanctions, closure of the border between North Korea and China and food shortages. As a result, North Korea has shown some willingness to improve inter-Korean relations, such as reopening inter-Korean communication lines that it unilaterally blocked. In addition, President Biden and most senior members of the diplomacy for national security group have participated in JCPOA with Iran and they aware of that as a major diplomatic achievement so they are insisting it should be applied to nuclear negotiations with North Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyze the case of a JCPOA with a tool of the DIME elements and find ways to denuclearize North Korea in accordance with its special nature through the DIME conception. For the denuclearization of the North Korea, a ‘Step-by-step Denuclearization Agreement based on Multilateralism’ is needed as a diplomatic conception, and through the intelligence conception, we should return North Korea to the NPT system so that we can access the information on unidentified but essential nuclear programs as a ‘selective verification’ within the international nonproliferation regime. For the military conception, it would require a ‘full spectrum deterrence strategy’ on the acceleration of North Korea’s Nuclear capability and use of nuclear weapons, and for the economic conception, it would include a ‘relaxing sanctions on North Korea corresponding to denuclearization measures’ and a clause that can be snap-back if North Korea fails to implement a crucial agreement.

현대 기독교철학의 제문제 토마스 아퀴나스의 신명론 -우리는 어떻게 신에 대해서 말할 수 있고 말해야만 하는가?

Thomistic scholars have different readings of Thomas Aquinas`` Summa Theologica in terms of speaking of God. With respect to Aquinas`` theory of analogy, some scholars such as David Burrell and Mark Jordan emphasize human incomprehensibility of God and argue that we cannot speak of God metaphysically. Other scholars such as Franlkin Gamwell think that by appealing to the biblical doctrine of creatio ex nihilo we can apply positive terms to God and creatures univocally. Regarding the issue of speaking of God, this article provides an analysis of question 1, 2, 3, and 12 as to question 13 which has to do with naming God. The purpose of this article is to show that a proper reading of question 13 by focusing on Aquinas`` view of analogy and the relationship between God and creatures leads us to a better understanding of analogical speaking of God. As Gregory Rocca argues, due to ontological similarity, on the one hand, we can speak of God meaningfully, but on the other hand, our naming God is limited to analogical prediction. This implies that Aquinas`` theory of analogy is a good model to think of how we can speak of God meaningfully without depreciating God`s transcendence and falling into pantheism, skepticism, and dualism.

기획주제: 현대 기독교철학과 미학 : 칸트의 비판철학과 기독교 신안

도덕 및 종교철학에 관련된 칸트의 종교적 담화에 대한 다른 의견들이 있다. 스티픈 팜퀘스트 같은 일부 학자들은 칸트의 신적 담화가 유의미하고 실제적이므로, 칸트의 종교철학은 기독교 신앙에 부합한다고 주장한다. 이와는 반대로, 피터 번 같은 학자는 칸트의 ‘신’은 실제적인 지시체를 갖지 않으며, 이는 곧 칸트의 종교철학은 정통 기독교와 양립할 수 없다고 생각한다. 필자는 칸트의 종교철학에 대한 피터 번의 해석에 동의하면서, 이 논문을 통해 칸트의 철학이 왜 전통적인 기독교와 공존할 수 없는지에 대한 두 가지 이유를 제시한다. 첫째 이유는 칸트의 이론철학과 실천철학에 불가지론적신 개념이 관류하고 있다는 점이다. 둘째 이유는 신에 대한 도덕적우위와 인간의 자율성에 기초한 칸트의 ‘도덕적 검증주의’가 신에 대한 실제적 담화를 가로막고 있다는 점이다. There are different understandings of Kant`s religious talk which has to do with his philosophy of morality and religion. Some scholars such as Stephen Palmquist argue that Kant`s God-talk is meaningful and real, so that Kant`s philosophy of religion is coherent with Christian faith. On the contrary, other scholars like Peter Byrne think that Kant`s ‘God’ has not real reference, which means that Kant`s philosophy of religion is not compatible with orthodox Christianity. As I agree with Peter Byrne`s interpretation of Kant`s philosophy of religion, in this essay I will give two reasons why Kant`s philosophy is asymbiotic to traditional Christianity. The first reason is that Kant`s agnostic conception of God runs through his theoretical and practical philosophy. The other reason is that Kant`s ‘moral verificationism’ based on moral priority over God and human autonomy bars ‘real’ talk of God.

낸시 머피는 몸-영혼 논쟁과 신이 세계 속에 어떻게 일을 하는지 등에 관한 많은 논문과 저서를 출간한 주류 기독교 철학자 가운데 한 사람이다. 머피는 현대 철학과 과학을 응용하여 비환원적 물리주의가 현대 과학과 호응하며 신학 및 성경적으로 건전하기 때문에 기독교에 대해 가장 합리적인 관점이라고 주장한다. 비록 낸시 머피의 주장이 기독교를 위한 가장 좋은 선택인 것처럼 보이지만, 다른 한편 성경이 그녀의 철학 체계에서 실제로 중요한 역할을 하고 있는지, 그리고 그녀가 이해하는 고대철학과 전통적인기독교 사상들과의 관계 등과 같은 해결해야 할 여러 문제들이 있다. 필자는 낸시 머피의 철학적 체계를 그녀의 방법론에 초점을 맞춰 분석한 후, 그녀의 비환원적 물리주의가 성경적, 신학적 및 과학적으로 설득력이 부족하다고 주장한다. Nancey Murphy is a leading Christian philosopher who has published many articles and books as to body-soul debate and how God works in the world. She utilizes contemporary philosophy and science and argues that nonreductive physicalism is the most reasonable view for Christianity because nonreductive physicalism is coherent with modern science and theologically and biblically sound. Though Nancey Murphy’s agenda seems to be best option for Christianity, there are some problems awaiting solution such as whether the Bible is really important data in her philosophical system and whether her understanding of the relationship between ancient Greek philosophy and traditional Christian thoughts. After analyzing Nancey Murphy’s philosophical system mainly focus on her methodology, I argue that Nancey Murphy’s nonreductive physicalism is biblically, theologically, and scientifically unpersuasive.

Morie Topography를 이용한 피부 탄력 평가와 Cutometer 결과와의 상관성 연구

나이가 들어감에 따라 피부에 주름이 생기고 건조해지며 탄력이 감소하게 된다. 피부 탄력은 주름과 같은 다른 변화항목처럼 노화에 따른 변화를 극명하게 눈으로 확인하기 힘들어 평가 방법에 타당성을 부여하는 과정이 더욱 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 연령과 기기측정 결과인 Cutometer parameters 값 간의 상관관계를 확인하였으며, 각각의 parameters가 노화에 의한 피부 탄력 감소를 반영해준다는 사실을 확인하였다(Ur/Uf, Ur/Uf, Ur/Ue, Ua, r=0.687~0.725). 또한 눈으로 보여지는 변화와 직접 피부를 만져보았을 때 느껴지는 변화를 정량평가하기 위한 평가법을 개발하였다. 50명의 건강한 여성을 대상으로 얼굴 부위에서 Moire 사진을 획득하였으며 이중 피부 탄력을 설명해줄 수 있는 다섯 단계의 Moire topographic photo scale을 선정하였다. 그 다음 동일한 조건으로 20~61세의 여성을 대상으로 Moire 사진을 촬영하고, 제시된 scale을 기준으로 피부 탄력정도를 평가하였다. 본 연구결과, Cutometer를 이용한 기기평가(r=-0.687~-0.725)와 Moire topography score (r=-938)에 의한 결과는 연령과 매우 높은 음의 상관관계를 가짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 Cutometer 값과 Moire topography 점수간의 상관성도 비교 두 평가법 간의 상관관계가 높음을 알 수 있었다(r=0.711). 따라서 안면부 Moire topography를 이용한 평가는 기기측정으로 확인할 수 있었던 피부 탄력 변화를 시각적으로 나타내어 줄 수 있었다. As aging occurs, ow skin gets more wrinkles, becomes drier and loses its elasticity. Validating the evaluation of skin elasticity is especially important, because it is not as visible as other signs of aging such as wrinkles. Here, we identified the correlation between age and the Parameters given by Cutometer, and (we present) the parameters of that reflect the decreases in skin elasticity along with ages (Ur/Uf, Ua/Uf, Ur/Ue, Ua, r=0.687~0.725). Also we developed an evaluation method to quantify the difference of skin by viewing or touching. A five-grade standard of Moire topographic photo scale on face was prepared using sensory evaluation of 20 to 61 year - old women. Based on this photo standard, scoring was performed using (a) 5-grade system by three specialists to obtain the consensus score. Significant negative correlations between age and results of Cutometer (r=-0.687~-0.725), Moire topography scores (r=-938) were found. Finally we have shown the significance of the correlation between the result of Cutometer and the score of Moire topography (r=0.711). Our studies using Moire topography on face have confirmed that instrumental measurements reflect the decrease in shin elasticity, which is perceived visually.
