        인과지도를 통한 창의성검사 방안 탐색

        The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of the causal maps for estimating creativity. This study assumes that fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration are elements of creativity; and there are common characteristics between systems and creative thinking. For this study, 30 students from the 5th grade create causal maps which are consisted of the contents of ``the water cycle in the earth``. The causal maps are analyzed and evaluated by focusing on the characteristics of creativity. In way of the marking causal maps based on creativity, each word is scored as 1 point on the basis of 30 points for fluency. Each word which is linked more than one word is scored 3 points for flexibility, but the maximum points are limited as 35 points. In originality, if it is approved each word is worthy as well as originality, it is scored as 10 points on the basis of 40 points. Lastly, each number of cycle loops is scored as 15 points for elaboration, and the maximum scores are limited as 45 points. As is stated above, the limiting of the maximum scores are designed based on corresponded to 10% students of participators. In the result of this study, the students` scores of evaluating creativity applied causal maps show similar patterns from relative point of view to the other results which were evaluated the creativity by credible organ. Consequently, it is recognized that the causal maps have the possibility of being able to estimate quantitatively the creativity.

        예비초등교사들의 시스템사고 능력 및 특성에 대한 연구

        This study focused on the analysis of the abilities and characteristics of the systems thinking for pre-service elementary teachers. Systems thinking is defined as the ability to see the world as a complex system in which one understands that everything is connected to everything else. For this study, 345 subjects carrying of the 2nd grade were selected and participated in making out the protocol developed by Sweeney and Sterman(2000) for the estimating ability of the systems thinking. As a result, the proportion of the correct answers based on the total points of view was 63%. However, the proportion of correct answer was considerably different according to the gender. The women group showed 53%, while the men group was 76%. Especially, there was a great difference in the rates of correct answer depending on their academic tracks of the humanities or natural science courses in the high school. The average rates of the correct answers for the natural science and the human science were 84 and 46%, respectively. Consequently, the ability of the systems thinking for pre-service elementary teachers is highly related with their gender and learning experience in the high school. The results of this study may contribute the practical use of the systems thinking in the area of the science education.

        연구논문 : 초등과학 수업에서 통합적 사고 학습을 위한 R.G.B. 기법 개발 및 적용

        The purpose of this study was to research applying possibility of the R.G.B. technique for combined thinking learning in the elementary science classes. For this, R.G.B. technique which was designed to mark students` output with red, green and blue colors depending one`s judgement was developed and applied in elementary science classes. The results were follows. Firstly, the propriety of questionnaires constitution which was developed to achieve study objects in science classes was given credit by experts. Secondly, the evaluating results of student`s outputs which had been done during science classes were credible on focused achieving the objects of science classes. Thirdly, in a point of view achieving creative thinking skill as well as knowledge, R.G.B. technique was effective. Fourthly, the combined thinking learning joined R.G.B. technique has possibility of applying to general science classes. Fifthly, the students who were participating in combined thinking learning science classes based on R.G.B. technique said with great satisfaction. Consequently, combined thinking learning based on R.G.B. technique should be paid attention to the value of possibility to achieve study effects both creative thinking skill and knowledge.

        초등과학수업에서 마인드 맵 활용에 대한 탐색

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the mind maps which were drawn with pencil or color pens by elementary students. For this study, 31 students of the 6th grade were selected and trained mind mapping. After training, the subjects had drawn mind maps with color pens about the ROCK for 15minutes and drew mind maps with pencil after 2days of mind mapping using color pens. In addition to activities of mind mapping, the students handed in their papers which were written one's impression of drawing two kinds of mind mapping. The results were follows: First, in central circle which was linked words connected firstly with ROCK as key word, the difference of 2kinds mind maps were little showed in the quantity and quality of the words, branches and their adequacy. Second, the mind maps using pencils had more words, branches and images than mind maps of using color pens in the whole assessment. Third, the most students suggested that the mind mapping using pencil were advantage to economy of time, retouching words and branches, also the mind mapping using pencil made the students relax the strain for drawing it because of retouching possibility. Consequently, the results of this study suggest the mind mapping using pencil has advantage effect on the purpose of gaining students' thinking abundantly and economy of time in elementary science classes.

        초등학교 5학년 학생들의 자연 환경 보존에 대한 인식

        This paper is intended to investigate the awareness of the elementary school students about the natural environment preservation. For this purpose, 21 elementary school students from the 5th grade of elementary school located in Gwangju city were selected. Especially, we focused on the students' conceptions related to 1) the environments, 2) the safe national land development activity to face several natural disasters and 3) the environmental preservation with the national land development. To evaluate the change of students' conceptions for the national land development, the students were also participated in establishing the plan of the national land development using the model of the natural environment after learning in detail about the natural environments. The results of this study showed that most of the students recognized the concept of the environments as a simple knowledge itself and pollution rather than the protection of environment. In the course of the safe national land development activity to face several natural disasters, the students expressed standardized answer indicating the knowledge based thinking of the environments. According to the results of the environmental preservation with the national land development and the hypothetical project of the national land development, the students did not have enough knowledge for the natural environment preservation although they had understanding of natural disasters and environmental preservation. Therefore, it is necessary to stress affirmative concept for the environment related to the preservation of natural environment. Also we need to develop the syllabus, which is related to the environmental studies, in the elementary educational program leading students to participate in the environmental preservation with the national land development reasonably and practically.

        광주광역시 하천의 표층퇴적물에 대한 지구화학적 특성과 오염

        광주광역시 하천에 분포하는 표층퇴적물의 지구화학적 특성을 살펴보기 위하여 영산강 본류, 황룡강, 광주천에서 채취한 시료를 대상으로 입도, 금속원소, 유기탄소의 함량에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 퇴적물의 입도는 잔자갈에서 니질 크기로 다양하게 나타났다. 퇴적물 내 금속원소의 함량변화는 영산강 본류와 황룡강에서는 퇴적물 입도와 주변 지질에 의한 의존성을 보였다. 광주천에서는 생활하수 등의 유기물에 의한 많은 영향을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 퇴적물에 함유된 금속원소들의 오염을 알아보기 위한 부화계수와 농집지수는 영산강 본류와 황룡강이 특별하게 오염되지 않음을 지시한다. 그러나 광주천에서는 부화계수가 P=8.30, Cu=5.54, Zn=14.28, Pb=7.41 등으로, 농집지수는 P=3.78, Cu=2.79,Zn=3.66, Pb=1.59 등을 보였다. 특히, 광주천의 지류인 서방천과 동계천 등이 유입되는 지점에서 중금속 오염이 상당히 진행된 것으로 보여진다. 따라서, 광주광역시를 관류하는 하천들의 금속오염은 상당 부분 도시지역의 생활 하수에서 비롯된 것으로 판단된다. In order to investigate the geochemical characteristics of surface sediments in streams of Gwangju City, sediment samples from the main stream of Yeongsan river, Hwangryong river, and Gwangjucheon in the city were collected and analyzed for grain size and metal and organic carbon contents. The sediment types of the streams widely vary from pebble to mud. The metal contents in the sediments from Yeongsan river and Hwangryong river are mainly dependent on the grain size of the sediments and the geology around the streams, while the sediments in Gwangiucheon are controlled by organic matter contents from the domestic sewage. The enrichment factor (Ef) and index of geoaccumulation (Igeo) representing the degree of metal contamination in the sediments are relatively low in the mainstream of Yeongsan river and Hwangryong river. However, those of Gwangjucheon show EF values of P=8.30, Cu=5.54, Zn=14.28 and Pb=7.41 and Igeo values of P=3.78, Cu=2.79, Zn=3.66 and Pb=1.59. The heavy metal contamination is especially significant near the area where the Seobangcheon and Donggyecheon branches of Gwanjucheon, join. Therefore, it is suggested that the metallic contaminations of these small streams are significantly influenced by the domestic sewage of the city.

        경상분지 동남부의 상부 경상누층군에 발달한 호성퇴적층에 대한 비교퇴적학적 연구

        The lithofacies, biofacies, and paleosol development of the Jindong Formation, the Geoncheonri Formation, and the lacustrine deposits of Mt. Hwangryeong at Pusan, which occur in the southeastern part of the Gyeongsang Basin, were analyzed in comparative sedimentology and in stratigraphy. The common features of these lacustrine deposits are: 1) clastic deposits are prevailing, 2) deltaic deposits are not associated, 3) mudflat deposits are common, and 4) stromatolites are absent. The distinct differences among these deposits are: 1) in the Jindong Formation, the mudflat deposits are predominant, pedogenic calcretes are commonly present, and dinosaur tracks frequently occur, compared with other two lacustrine deposits, and 2) in the Geoncheonri Formation, invertebrate fossils are relatively common and storm deposits are not recognized, compared with other deposits, and 3) evaporite mineral casts and tuffaceous turbidite deposits are common in the Mt. Hwangryeong lacustrine deposits. In stratigraphy, the Geoncheonri Formation is correlated with the lower part of the Jindong Formation, and the Mt. Hwangryeong lacutsrine deposits are deemed to overlie the Jindong Formation. On the basis of comparative sedimentology and stratigraphic relationship among these lacustrine deposits, general paleoenvironements of the southeastern part of the Gyeongsang Basin from the late Hayang time to the early Yucheon time are interpreted as follows. During the late Hayang time, tectonic and volcanic activities were generally inacitive in the Gyeongsang Basin, and lacustrine environments expanded since the paleoclimatic condition became less arid compared with the middle Hayang time. In general, however, paleoclimate during the late Hayang time was still arid, and wetting and drying periods were alternated. The occasional occurrences of severe droughts were also characteristic of the late Hayang time. Mudflats existed in wide area in the southeastern part of the Gyeongsang Basin during the late Hayang time, and sedimentation rate was accordingly low. The sedimentation rate became relatively high during the latest Hayang time and the early Yucheon time since tectonic and volcanic activities had been active. Generally arid climate continued for the early Yucheon time, enough for evaporite minerals to precipate occasionally. 경상분지 동남부 지역에 발달된 하양층군 퇴적말기의 진동층 및 건천리층과 하양층군 최상부 또는 유천층군 최하부의 지층으로 설정되어 있는 부산 황령산 지역의 호성퇴적층을 대상으로, 이들 퇴적층의 퇴적상, 화석상, 고토양상 등을 비교퇴적학 및 층서학적인 측면에서 분석하였다. 세 호수퇴적층의 공통적인 발달특성은 1) 전반적으로 쇄설성퇴적층이 지배적인 반면, 2) 삼각주퇴적층이 수반되어 있지 않으며, 3) 이질평원퇴적층이 흔히 발달되어 있고, 4)스트로마톨라이트의 발달이 없는 점 등이다. 한편 세 호수퇴적층 발달특성의 대표적인 차이점은 다음과 같다: 1) 진동층은 다른 두 호성퇴적층에 비하여 이질평원퇴적층의 발달이 지배적이며, 석회질고토양의 발달이 빈번하고, 다른 두 호성퇴적층에서는 산출되지 않는 공룡족흔 화석층의 발달이 일반적이다. 2) 건천리층은 다른 두 호성퇴적층에 비하여 무척추동물화석의 산출이 일반적이며, 다른 두 호성퇴적층에서는 발달하는 폭풍퇴적층이 발달되어 있지 않다. 3)황령산지역 호성퇴적층은 진동층 및 건천리층에서는 산출하지 않거나 매우 드물게 나타나는 증발광물의 캐스트가 흔히 산출되며, 응회질 저탁암층의 협재가 일반적이다. 세 호성퇴적층의 층서관계의 경우, 건천리층은 진동층의 하부에 대비되고, 황령산 지역 호성퇴적층은 진동층의 상위에 놓이는 지층으로 추정된다. 이들 3개 호성퇴적층의 층서관계 및 발달특성을 토대로 해석된 하양층군 퇴적말기에서 유천층군 퇴적초기에 이르는 동안의 경상분지 동남부 지역의 퇴적특성은 다음과 같다. 하양층군 퇴적말기의 경상분지는 지반이 비교적 안정된 상태였으며, 이에 따라 화산활동은 그리 활발한 편이 아니었다. 기후조건의 경우 하양층군 퇴적중기 때보다는 비교적 습윤하여져 호수환경이 확장된 상태였으나, 전반적으로는 건조한 기후가 지배적인 환경이었으며, 특히 건기와 우기가 교호되는 기후조건이발달하는 가운데에 매우 극심한 가뭄이 빈번히 발달하였다. 하양층군 퇴적말기에 경상분지의 동남부 지역은 호수연변부의 이질평원이 넓게 발달한 가운데에 퇴적작용이 매우 느리게 진행되었으나, 백악기 후기(하양층군 퇴적최후기 및 유천층군 퇴적초기)에 접어들면서 조구조운동과 이에 따른 화산활동이 활발해짐에 따라 이 지역의 퇴적속도는 상대적으로 빨라지게 되었다. 백악기 후기의 기후조건은 이전과 마찬가지로 건조한 기후가 전반적으로 유지되었으며, 일부 지역은 증발암광물이 형성될 정도로 건조한 기후가 발달하였다.
