        IP 카메라의 VIDEO ANALYTIC 최적 활용을 위한 가상환경 구축 및 유용성 분석 연구

        In recent years, researches regarding optimal placement of CCTV(Closed-circuit Television) cameras via architecture modeling has been conducted. However, for analyzing surveillance coverage through actual human movement, the application of VA(Video Analytics) function of IP(Internet Protocol) cameras has not been studied. This paper compares two methods using data captured from real-world cameras and data acquired from a virtual environment. In using real cameras, we develop GUI(Graphical User Interface) to be used as a logfile which is stored hourly and daily through VA functions and to be used commercially for placement of products inside a shop. The virtual environment was constructed to emulate an real world such as the building structure and the camera with its specifications. Moreover, suitable placement of the camera is done by recognizing obstacles and the number of people counted within the cameras range of view. This research aims to solve time and economic constraints of actual installation of surveillance cameras in real-world environment and to do feasibility study of virtual environment.

        IP 카메라를 위한 HTML5 기반 통합형 Live Streaming 구현

        This paper presents a unified live-streaming method based on Hypertext Mark-up Language 5(HTML5) for an IP camera which is independent of browsers of clients and is implemented with open-source libraries. Currently, conventional security systems based on analog CCTV cameras are being modified to newer surveillance systems utilizing IP cameras. These cameras offer remote surveillance and monitoring regardless of the device being used at any time, from any location. However, this approach needs live-streaming protocols to be implemented in order to verify real-time video streams and surveillance is possible after installation of separate plug-ins or special software. Recently, live streaming is being conducted through HTML5 using two different standard protocols: HLS and DASH, that works with Apple and Android products respectively. This paper proposes a live-streaming approach that is linked on either of the two protocols which makes the system independent with the browser or OS. The client is possible to monitor real-time video streams without the need of any additional plug-ins. Moreover, by implementing open source libraries, development costs and time were economized. We verified usefulness of the proposed approach through mobile devices and extendability to other various applications of the system.

        CCTV 카메라의 인구 이동량 측정을 이용한 빌딩 에너지 절약시스템

        In general, IP (Internet Protocol) Cameras are CCTVs that analyzes image data not only for security purposes, but also for measuring presence and counting of people with video analytic functions. In this paper, we present a feasibility study in using the obtained video analytic data for a building energy management system. First, we developed a simulator based on a building model where CCTV may be placed to observe people. The data from each CCTV are analyzed to produce people counting at each area of the building model. In order to analyze the energy trend of an actual building, we performed a simulation using an energy analysis program, eQUEST. The produced people counting were used to control building management system defined in eQUEST. The feasibility of a building energy management system using the analyzed image data was proved by simulation.

        감성조명은 조명의 색온도를 2,200K~8,000K(캘빈) 범위에서 자유롭게 조정함으로써 일출, 일몰, 한 낮 시간의 변화에 따른 태양 빛의 변화를 실내에서 그대로 연출할 수 있어 학생들의 심리상태에 따라 조도와 색온도의 변화를 주어 학생들에게 가장 적합한 조명을 구현하고자 한다. 학생들의 수업시간에 최적의 조명 상태를 조성하여 기억력, 집중력 등이 최대로 발휘하게 하여 학습효율을 향상하고자 한다. 간접조명을 통해 눈의 자극을 최소화하여 학생들의 시력보호와 동시에 과목별 적합한 색채의 변화는 학습효과 뿐만 아니라, 오랜 시간의 지속적인 관심과 흥미를 유지시키는 효과를 준다. 본 논문은 기존 학교 교실의 조명과 감성조명의 Data를 비교·분석을 통하여 학생들의 학습효과를 극대화하는 것이다. Emotional lighting can display changes of natural light over time such as sunrise, sunset or midday inside building by freely adjusting color temperature of lighting within the range from 2,200k~8,000k. The study aims at developing the most appropriate lighting to students through the adjustment in the level of illumination and color temperature depending on psychological status of students. The optimum conditions of class lighting can increase memory span and the level of concentration to the maximum extent, thus the degree of efficacy in learning would increase. A proper use of indirect lighting minimizes eye irritation for protecting students' eyesight. Changes in lighting color depending on different subject matters bring about the improvement in learning effects, as well as maintain student interests for loner period of time. The objective of the study is to maximize the learning effects of students by comparing and analyzing the data of previous school lighting and emotional lighting.
