This paper addresses the design and implementation of a wireless network. proposed as a cost-effective support platform for PLCs. With this network. one or more supervising stations may access remote equipment like PLCs. An applicable communication methods are described and we applied efficient method among them to PLCs communication. The paper specifies these requirements and indicates methods to fulfill them. Also. it provides to the model of operation, and focuses on the implementation approach. The hardware and software design is described together with a number of critical points related to wireless communication on the Cnet. Furthermore, a discussion on system expandability and performance is tackled and some observations are stated. The main conclusion is, that the proposed method can feature good performance under normal operating conditions.

In this paper, we suggest the compiler implementation of a LD logic editor. The compiler load the LDI(Ladder Diagram Instruction) file saved by LD logic editor and analyze the lexicon and sentence to detect errors and convert to IL(Instruction List) of IEC 61131-3 standard. The converted IL is translated to binary code and the compiler generate the executable binary formed file to execute in SoftPLC.

Recently, together with development of communications technology, monitoring and control systems have been used in many fields. When monitoring and control systems are developed, one of important things is considered about a redundancy whenever hardware faults are occurred partly.<br/> In this paper, we introduce a monitoring and control system with a redundancy function for servers and networks. The system, therefore, has an active server and standby server. In fields. all field units have to be constructed 2 communication ports connected each server through communication lines. Also. each server's communication program is implemented by analyzing and handling fault elements, and is modularized for linking easily with a monitoring and control module. An experiment with 2 servers and 2 field units is constructed to demonstrate its effectiveness.<br/>

LD(Ladder Diagram) is one of PLC programming language provided in IEC 61131-3 standard, is used most widely. PLC is logic language to operate only in private hardware. Nowadays with the development of hardware, many study is being carried about to operate SoftPLC type to be included in PLC for samely functions. In this study, we are discussing about GUI implementation of LD logic editor for development tool for SoftPLC using LD. We define a new language is called LDI(Ladder Diagram Instruction) to save LD to a file.

Fouling causes serious maintenance problems on heat exchanger tubes and process facilities. To avoid such fouling problems, numerous efforts have been tried. e.g., diagnosis of fouling, reducing and eliminating the fouling. etc.. The objective of the present study is to develop an innovative diagnostic system of fouling, which can detect the scaling attached to the wall non-homogeneously. The performance of the diagnostic system has been evaluated with a scaling simulator that generates scaling on tested tube wall. The measured values with the diagnostic system were compared with the amounts of the scaling generated by the simulator. In addition to, we showed the data that have been executed in field test for reliability verification.

For stability and economic feasibility, it is very important to deal with monitoring and alarm of the condition of motion, during the operation of all kinds of ship using diesel engine or standby diesel generator of nuclear power plant. To do this, it is necessary to develop the technology that prevents the faults and predicts abnormal condition by checking the efficiency of the diesel generator on-line. This paper argues about condition monitoring and fault prediction diagnosis system using Expert System of Standby Diesel Generator.

The safety and trustworthiness of emergency diesel generator is extremely important in urgent situations. and the lack in any of these characteristics may result in a large accident. In case of Wol-sung nuclear power plant. only simple warning system could observe the status and function of engines. Therefore. systematic. comprehensive supervision and diagnosis system is needed in order to provide appropriate direction to respective person in duty when engine malfunctions.
