Lighting Poles is lighting facilities across the road to the attached facilities of road for necessary to moving a foot passenger or a car. Most of lighting pole product in Korea market is used duplicatedforeign products without checking the structural performance. Therefore this paper is tested and evaluated on the structural performance of new aluminum lighting poles. The structural performance testing method was compressive and bending capacity compared to steel lighting poles and aluminum lighting poles. Aluminum lighting poles occurred 2.8 times compression capacity and 2 time bending capacity compared to steel lighting poles. The evaluation results of the aluminum pole had suitable structural performance applying Korea Standard and foreign design specification.
