Objectives : Discogenic factor is a common reason causing low back pain and leg radiating pain. To investigate the relationship between lumbar lordosis and lumbar curve, lumbar subluxation in lumbar disc block subluxation patients was discussed. Methods : The study population consisted of 80 patients who were diagnosed as HIVD by lumbar CT and evaluated with X-ray findings of L-spine AP and lateral views. First, patients were divided into normal group(A) and abnormal group(B) by lordotic index and measured lumbar lordotic angle. Next, patients were divided into four groups by lumbar subluxation and measured lumbar lordotic angle in group Ⅰ(lateral disc block subluxation) and group Ⅲ(posterior lateral disc block subluxation). Results : A group is 14 cases(17.5%) and the average value of lumbar lordotic angle is 31.71±10.69°. B group is 66 cases(82.5%) and the average value of lumbar lordotic angle is 26.71±9.33°. In erect position, B group`s lumbar lordotic angle is significantly(p<0.05) lower then A group. According to the distribution of lumbar subluxation, the number of group Ⅲ is 64 cases(80.0%) the most, groupⅠ is 15 cases(18.8%) the next. Group Ⅲ`s Lumbar lordotic angle is significantly(p<0.05) lower than groupⅠ. Conclusions : Abnormal lumbar lordosis easily cause lumbar disc block subluxation so we must regard normal lumbar lordosis and normal lordotic angle as important.
