본 연구는 간호대학생의 자살에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 실시된 서술적 상관관계연구이다. 연구 대상은 C시 소재 K 대학교에 재학 중인 간호 대학생 150명이었다. 자료 수집은 2019년 9월 16일에서 20일까지였으며, 일반적 특성과 자살에 대한 태도 및 인식에 관해 설문지를 작성하도록 하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, 독립 t 검정, 일원배치 분산분석, Pearson 상관관계분석 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 학년, 흡연, 우울 경험에 따라 자살에 대한 인식에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 자살에 대한 인식은 자살에 대한 태도 중 윤리, 정신질환, 종교, 위험, 동기와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 간호대학생의 자살에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(β=.14, p=.045), 우울경험(β=.14, p=.033), 자살에 대한 태도 중 윤리(β=.16, p=.025), 정신질환(β=.33, p<.001), 종교(β=.15, p=.038)로 나타났다. 이들 변수에 의한 설명력은 34.1%였다. 간호대학생의 자살에 대한 인식과 태도를 개선시키기 위해 자살에 대한 다양한 측면을 고려한 자살관련 교육이 요구되며, 우울의 고위험 군을 선별하여 우울 증상에 대한 적극적 관리와 함께 자살 예방 교육이 제공되어야 할 것이다. This study is a descriptive correlation study to identify factors affecting suicide perception of nursing students. The subjects were 150 nursing students of K University in C City. Data collection was from September 16 to 20, 2019, and the questionnaires included general characteristics, attitudes and perceptions toward suicide. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 program was used to perform descriptive statistics, independent t test, one-way variance analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, there were statistically significant differences in perception toward suicide according to grade, smoking, and depression experience. Statistically significant positive correlations were observed between the attitude toward suicide (ethics, mental illness, religion, risk, motivation) and the perception toward suicide. Influencing factors on the perception toward suicide of nursing students were grade (β=.14, p=.045), experience of depression (β=.14, p=.033), and ethics attitudes (β=.16, p=.025), mental illness (β=.33, p<.001), and religion (β=.15, p=.038), and these variables explained 34.1% of this model. In order to improve the attitude and perception toward suicide, nursing students should be provided with education that includes various aspects of suicide. And it will be necessary to select students with a high risk of depression and provide them with active treatment for depressive symptoms as well as education to prevent suicide.
