강릉지역의 NNE-SSW 주향을 갖는 선형구조(임곡단층)를 대상으로, ASTER 영상과 항공사진을 이용한 구조 영상 분석과 야외지질조사를 통해 단층의 기하 및 운동학적 특성을 관찰하고 단층의 지질역학적 특성에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 현생 응력장 하에서 임곡단층의 운동 가능성 여부를 파악하기 위해 이용된 주변 지진자료는 이 지역의 현생 최대응력방향이 약 N70°E이며 주향이동과 역단층 운동에 유리한 응력상태임을 보여준다. 현생 응력장 하에서 임곡단층이 운동하기에는 최적의 방향에서 오차 범위 밖의 주향을 보여 전단 성향이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 단층의 역학적 특성을 나타내는 마찰계수(μ)가 상당히 낮을 경우(예를 들어 0.25 이하) 현생 응력장 하에서도 운동 가능성이 있는 것으로 파악된다. We carried out geometrical, kinematic, and geomechanical analyses on a lineament (the Imgok fault) near Gang-neung, observed in ASTER images and aerial photographs, and field surveys. Earthquake focal mechanism solutions, used to estimate the present-day stress state. revealed that the direction of maximum compression is approximately N70°E and that the stress condition is in favor of either strike-slip or reverse movement on the fault. The strike of the fault is not ideal for slip under the present-day stress field and thus the fault has a low slip tendency. However, the fault may be able to slip if the frictional coefficient (μ), representing the resistance of the fault to slip, is sufficiently low (e.g., μ<0.25).

The continuous monitoring of the runoff in the small-scaled urban watershed and easily accessible experiment catchment is necessary to investigate the overall status of the development in the urban catchment and the varying aspects of the discharge characteristics due to the urbanization. However, the research on the management and the characteristics of the small-scaled model basin for discharge tests has not been actively performed up to now. This study selects the Dong-Eui university basin, which locates at Gaya-dong in Busan, as the experiment catchment to monitor the discharge rate in the urban watershed. EMS(DEMS, DATA-PeS EMS, mini rain gage & AWS(AWS-DEU, DATA-PeS AWS) monitoring system installed for the collection of hydrological data such as the rainfall and the waterlevel. This experiment catchment is the typical urban catchment and is under development, and it is possible to analyze the varying aspects of the discharge rate during and after the development.

Iatrogenic fracture is not popular and might be recognized as a malpractice. Surgical error related to iatrogenic fracture which has occurred after an operation can be detected only by a surgeon. Stress riser fracture is another form of iatrogenic fracture also known as a Young’s modulus fracture. As the majority of surgical related stress riser fractures can be preventive, the accurate prevalence is not known. The majority of fractures occurred in the weight bearing bones such as femur and tibia. The subtrochanter area is the most stress concentrated area in the human body, thus it is a common area for occurrence of stress riser iatrogenic fractures. We experienced 2 cases of stress riser iatrogenic fractures, which are related to technical errors, thus we report cases with literature review.

It reflects well feature of slope that is characteristic of city river basin of Busan local. Process various hydrological datas and basin details datas which is collected through basin basis data, weather satellite equipment(EMS-DEU) and automatic water level equipment(AWS-DEU) and use as basin input data of ILLUDAS model, SWMM model and HEC-HMS model in order to examine outflow feature of experiment basin and then use in reservoir design of experiment basin through calibration and verification about HEC-HMS model. Inserted design rainfall for 30 years that is design criteria of creek into HEC-HMS model and then calculated design floods according to change aspect of the impermeable rate. Capacity of reservoir was determined on the outflow mass curve. Designed imagination reservoir(volume 54,000m^(3)) at last outlet upper stream of experiment basin, after designing reservoir. It could be confirmed that the peak flow was reduced resulting from examining outflow aspect. Designing reservoir must decrease outflow of urban areas.
Wrist Band를 이용한 내관 지압이 갑상선 절제술 환자의 수술 후 오심과 구토에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Nei-Guan Acupressure using wrist band on postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV) after thyroidectomy. Methods: A nonequivalent pre test-post test control group design was used. Forty patients were selected, and assigned into two groups, the acupressure group(n=20) and the control group(n=20) each other. The acupressure group was received sustained acupressure, using wrist bands on the Nei-Guan points. The acupressure bands were applied just before starting induction of anesthesia, and kept until 2 hours later since the patients came to PACU after surgery. The control group were given routine nursing care. The Rhodes Index of Nausea, Vomiting and Retching(INVR) questionnaire was used to measure the incidence of the PONV. Result: Significant differences in the index scores were showed between control group and experimental group(F=7.367, p=.010) The scores of the acupressure group were much lower than control group. The scores of the two groups were 5.35 and 2.3 respectively when the subjects were leaving the PACU, 6.4 and 1.95 2hours after PACU 3.75 and 1.95 8hours after 2.35 and 0.8 24hours after. Conclusion: The acupressure on the Nei-Guan points, using wrist band is effective in alleviating PONV after thyroidectomy.
