Electrospinning is a technique that produces sub-micron sized continuous fibers by electric force from polymer solutions or melts. Due to its versatile manufacturability and the cost effectiveness, this method has been recently adopted for the fabrication of one-dimensional materials. Here, we fabricated polyacrylonitrile (PAN) polymer fibers, from which uniform carbon fibers with diameters of 100-200 nm were obtained after carbonization at 800 $^{\circ}C$ in N$_2$. Special emphasis was directed to the influence of the phase separated polymer solution on the morphology and the microstructure of the resulting carbon fiber. The addition of poly(stylene-co-acrylonitile) (SAN) makes the polymer solution phase separated, which allows for the formation of internal pores by its selective elimination after electrospinning. XPS and Raman Spectroscopy were used to confirm the surface composition and the degree of carbonization. At the PAN:SAN = 50:50 in vol%, the uniform carbon fibers with diameters of 300$\sim$500 nm and surface area of 131.6 m$^2$g$^{-1}$ were obtained.

본 논문은 한국 전자통신연구원에서 개발하고 있는 IP 기반의 대규모 광역 스토리지 시스템에 관한 논문이다. OASIS는 IP 네트워크 상의 수백~수천 명의 동시 사용자를 효과적으로 지원하고 또한 네트워크 스토리지 서비스를 WAN 범위까지로 확대 시키는 것을 목적으로 하는 스토리지 시스템이다. 이를 위해 IP 기반 스토리지 연결망 기술과 객체 기반 스토리지 기술 그리고 클러스터 기반 서버 구조 기술을 활용한다. 본 시스템은 특히 FTTH, WiBro 등 차세대 통신망의 도입에 따라 점차 현실성을 얻어가는 IP 기반 스토리지 서비스에서 대규모 스토리지 서비스를 위한 목적으로 활용될 수 있다. In this paper, a large-scale, wide-area storage system based on IP is proposed which is under development. OASIS is a storage system enforced with very high-scalability up to hundreds and thousands of clients over IP network, and it is able to extend the service to the wide area network. For this purpose, we adopt an storage interconnection technology based on IP, the object based storage technology and a clustered server architecture which provides high-scalability and availability to our system. This system can be utilized to provide network storage service which gains more reality with the incoming FTTH and WiBro services.
토러스 연결망 기반의 대용량 멀티미디어용 분산 스토리지 시스템

Explosively growing service of digital multimedia data increases the need for highly scalable low-cost storage. This paper proposes the new storage architecture based on torus network which does not need network switch and erasure coding for efficient storage usage for high scalability and efficient disk utilization. The proposed model has to compensate for the disadvantage of long network latency and network processing overhead of torus network. The proposed storage model was compared to two most popular distributed file system, GlusterFS and Ceph distributed file systems through a prototype implementation. The performance of prototype system shows outstanding results than erasure coding policy of two file systems and mostly even better results than replication policy of them.

다양한 응용 분야에서 대량의 데이타 저장이 빈번해 짐에 따라 분산 파일 시스템에 대한 효용성이 커지고 있으며,이로 인해 수많은 분산 파일 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 이러한,분산 파일 시스템의 효율성을 검증할 수 있는 방법에 대한 필요성이 커지고 있다. 또한,SSD와 같은 우수한 성능을 가지는 장치를 사용하는 분산 파일 시스템에서는 SSD와 같은 장치의 효율성을 보기 위한 복잡한 워크로드를 생성 하여 시험할 수 있어야 한다. 하지만 기존의 입출력 시험 도구에서는 복잡한 상황을 시험하는 것이 매우 어렵다. 따라서,본 논문에서는 필요에 따라 파일의 분포에 따라 다른 입출력 패턴을 가지는 여러 부하 상황을 생성이 가능하며,웹을 통해 손쉽게 시험할 수 있는 분산 파일 시스템을 위한 웹기반 워크로드 생성기를 개발하였다.

최근 녹색 성장을 위한 에너지 효율 증대, 스마트워크 실현, 기업 보안 강화 등의 요구들과 맞물려, 기업, 공공, 의료, 교육 등 많은 분야에서 인터넷상에 가상화된 개인 PC 환경을 구축하여 다양한 단말을 통해 언제 어디서나 업무 환경을 실현하는 가상 데스크톱 인프라(Virtual Desktop Infrastructure: VDI) 시스템의 도입이 증가하고 있고, 관련 시장 또한 확대되고 있다. 가상 데스크톱 서비스 구축은 많은 장점을 갖는 동시에 높은 투자 비용, 성능 등 해결해야 할 다양한 이슈들도 존재한다. 본고에서는 VDI 시스템에 대해 기술하고, 핵심 기술들의 연구 현황에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

Although confirmation in the Korea's protestant churches is regarded as one of the important church ceremonies, the meaning or value of its existence is vague. The religious reformists only recognized baptism and eucharist among the 7 holy ceremonies that have been held by Roman Catholic Church. However, they did not deny educational significance and value of confirmation. They actually viewed confirmation as very important and valuable in terms of education to be constantly carried out by church, unless the confirmation is not misunderstood as a holy ceremony. The Korean protestant churches in Korea, however, have managed to maintain the formality of confirmation as a ceremony, overlooking the educational significance of confirmation. Such a confirmation issue is one of the major tasks to be tackled by the Korean protestant churches. As a first step to resolve the task, a historical investigation on the origin and development of confirmation has been attempted in this study. If a debate on the confirmation issue is to be properly carried out, how the current confirmation ceremony has been shaped, namely the historical root of the confirmation issue should be explicitly revealed. The basically confirmed matter here was as follows as W Maurer expressed: “Konfirmation(Confirmation) has been constantly in the symbol of Taufe(baptisrn) from the start and during its long history, and it has gradually grown from the teaching of baptism and baptism ceremony.” Subsequently, the educational structure of Korean churches that do not see any alternative other than the German churches, which make a great effort to resolve an important task of churches to hand ever faith to the next generation, and the educational system of church school is comparatively described. Through such comparative study, we can draw a lesson that the confirmation, which has never been noticed by the Korean churches, not only in the ceremonial aspect but also from the educational perspective, can be the field of huge opportunity in education for youth. That is, through the study, educational possibility of confirmation education can be noticed. The situations of life have been expanded along with history, in line with which, the educational scope and methods have been expanded and deepened as well. The church education should expand and deepen the understanding on the educational field in the future. The reason is because the awareness of educational field change becomes the outlook of education towards the future. The Korean churches stand in front of a pivotal task to hand over faith to the next generation, and they need to pursue new educational field and methods to most effectively conduct such a task. The Korean churches may find the educational field and methods that can be most suitable to such a purpose from the educational system, which has been traditionally regarded important by the Western churches, namely from the confirmation education.
