        코로나19로 인한 청소년의 경제적 상태 변화에 따른 한국 청소년의 식생활 및 건강에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to understand the influence of COVID-19 on youth daily life by analyzing the correlation between youth health and diet according to whether economic status has changed due to COVID-19 and to provide basic data on program construction for the welfare of socially marginalized adolescents. As a result of the study, the proportion of respondents who answered that there was a change in economic status at a high rate for decreased academic performance (p<0.001), stress perception, and suicidal thoughts (p<0.001), and the proportion of decreased number of breakfasts and increased fast food consumption (p<0.001) was also high. These results of the study are thought to be the reason for the increase in adolescents who are alienated due to changes in home conditions due to COVID-19, which is expected to affect the physical and mental health of adolescents who lack communication and guidance, and the increase in delinquents rate due to reduced academic concentration and increased junk food intake. Therefore, through this study, it can be helpful to use basic data for the development of welfare programs such as non-face-to-face as basic data for teenagers alienated from COVID-19.

        Rehmanniae Radix Preparata attributes good blood circulation and it has been used for the treatment of dizziness, men's sterility, excessive loss of blood and weakness. On the quality control of commercial Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, quantitative determination of 5-hydroxymethyl (5-HMF) using HPLC method has been conducted. Quantitative analysis of S-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde (5-HMF) in commercial Rehmanniae Radix Preparata showed average of $0.136{\pm}0.057%$ in 14 samples collected throughout the regions of Korea.

        This study was investigated to determine the quality control of Oriental medicine from stores dealing in Oriental medicine around Seoul and Daegu. We tested total 120 samples that widely used 15 species in herbal medicine (Lycii Fructus, Platycodi Radix, Angelicae Gigantis Radix and 12 others) being collected from Oriental medicine clinic, pharmacy, Oriental pharmacy, Oriental medical hospital and Oriental drug store. We have estimated Oriental medicine by K.P. (Korean Pharmacopoeia), K.H.P(Korean Herbal Pharmacopoeia) and announcement of KFDA. The items of examination were identification, purity, loss on drying, ash, acid insoluble ash, extract content, essential oil content, assay, heavy metal limit, and pesticides residue(BHC, DDT, Aldrin, Endrin, Dieldrin). As a result, 20 samples in total 120 samples were not satisfied with the standard and 7 species in total 15 species were not satisfied with the standard. Identification test, extract content test and pesticides residue(BHC, DDT, Aldrin, Endrin, Dieldrin) were satisfied with the standard. The result will be the basic data for the quality control of Oriental medicine.

        유자의 항 Influenza 바이러스 A형 활성에 관한 연구

        To evaluate anti-influenza virus activity of 113 specimens of Korean traditional medicine both water and methanol extracts were examined using haemagglutination inhibition test. The water extract from Citrus junos was found to inhibit influenza virus A/Taiwan/l/86(H1N1). The survival rates of virus were determined by in situ cellular enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The water extract of Citrus junos was fractionated by chromatographic separating using Amberlite XAD-4, 40% MeOH and 60% MeOH layer had antiviral activity. The half inhibition concentration $(IC_{50})$ of 40% MeOH layer on survival of influenza virus was $MIC>361.5{\mu}g/ml$ and $IC_{50}$ value of fr. 40-4 fractionated from 40% MeOH layer was $677.19{\mu}g/ml$. These results suggested that the fractions of Citus junos have potent anti-influenza A virus activity.

      • 엄나무 추출물이 3T3-L1 지방세포에서 인슐린 민감성과 인슐린 유사성 작용에 미치는 영향

        국내의 한약재 시장 등에서 당뇨병의 민간요법 약재로 많이 판매되고 있는 엄나무(Kalopanax pictus NAKAI)수피의 열수 추출물에서 인슐린성 물질과 인슐린 민감성 약제로서의 가능성을 탐색하기 위해 3T3-L1 섬유아세포(fibroblast)가 3T3-L1 지방세포(adipocytes)로 분화할 때 미치는 영향과 지방 세포내로의 포도당 섭취(glucose uptake)에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 엄나무의 수피를 열수 추출하고 동결건조하여 만든 분말 엑스시료를 증류수에 녹여 각각 $10{\mu}g/ml$ 및 $l{\mu}g/ml로$ 3T3-L1 섬유아세포를 처리한 후, 분화유도 물질만을 첨가한 대조군의 분화 정도를 100%로 정하였을 때 이에 대한 백분율로 환산하여 결정하였다. 분화유도물질이 첨가되지 않은 경우 $1{\mu}g/ml$와 $10{\mu}g/ml$의 농도에서 각각 $115.4{\pm}5.1%(p<0.05)$와 $122.3{\pm}2.1%(p<0.05)$로 유의성있게 분화를 촉진시켰다. 분화유도물질을 첨가하였을 때, $1{\mu}g/ml$에서는 $127.0{\pm}5.3%(p<0.001)$ 분화를 촉진시켰고, $10{\mu}g/ml$에서는 분화에 거의 변화가 없었다. 3T3-L1 지방 세포내로의 포도당 섭취량은 소량의 인슐린(3ng/ml)과 함께 $0{\sim}10%$ 메탄올 분획층(Fr. 1)과 30% 메탄올 분획층(Fr. 3)을 0.3와 $3{\mu}g/ml$ 첨가하였을 때 분획층을 첨가하지 않은 대조군에 비해 모두 $3.3{\pm}0.5$배 증가시켜 인슐린 50ng/ml에서 반응하였을 때와 유사한 섭취 정도를 나타내었다. 엄나무의 수피는 인슐린성 물질을 함유하고 있으며, 추출물을 분획한 Fr. 1과 Fr. 3은 인슐린 저항성을 감소시키는 물질이 함유되어 있어 인슐린 민감성 제재로 개발할 수 있는 가능성을 암시하고 있다. Effects of the water extract from Kalopanax pictus NAKAI on insulin-like action and glucose uptake in 3T3-L1 cells were investigated. The bark of K. pictus NAKAI was treated with hot water and the extract was freeze-dried. Total extract of K. pictus NAKAI was fractionated into 6 fractions with increasing gradients from 0 to 100% MeOH on Amberlite XDA-4. Treatment of 3T3-L1 fibroblasts with 1 ${\mu}g/ml$ and 10 ${\mu}g/ml$ of K. pictus NAKAI total extracts significantly increased the differentiation of the cells. When co-treated with inducers such a dexamethasone, 1-methyl-3-isobutylxanthine and insulin, the differentiation was increased at 1 ${\mu}g/ml$ of total extract, but not at 10 ${\mu}g/ml$. In 3T3-L1 adipocytes, glucose uptake was increased by 3.3 times with addition of 0.3 and 3 ${\mu}g/ml$ of Fr. 1 (0-10% MeOH) and Fr. 3 (30% MeOH) at 3 ng/ml insulin. In conclusion, K. pictus NAKAI contains such compounds that play a role of insulin-like action and insulin sensitizer.

        nrDNA-ITS 분자마커를 이용한 오미자(五味子) 종 감별 및 기원분석 -ITS 염기서열을 이용한 오미자(五味子) 감별-

        Objectives: The original plant species of Schisandrae Fructus (O-mi-ja) is prescribed as Schisandra chinensis BAILL., in Korea, but S. chinensis BAILL. and S. sphenanthera REHD. et WILS. in China. Moreover, fruit of several other species in genus Schisandra also have been used as the same herbal medicines. To develop a reliable method for correct identification of Schisandrae Fructus and to evaluate the phylogenetic relationship of S. chinensis and its related species, we analyzed internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences of nuclear ribosomal DNA (nrDNA). Methods: Twenty-four plant samples of three Schisandra species and one Kadsura species, S. chinensis BAILL., S. spenanthera REHD. et WILS., S. nigra Max. and Kadsura japonica DUNAL were collected from each different native habitate and farm in Korea and China. The nrDNA-ITS region of each samples were amplified using ITS1 and ITS4 primer and nucleotide sequences were determined after sub-cloning into the pGEM-Teasy vector. Authentic marker nucleotides were estimated by the analysis of ClastalW based on the entire nrDNA-ITS sequence. Results: In comparative analysis of the nrDNA-ITS sequences, we found specific nucleotide sequences including indels (insertions and deletions) and substitutions to distinguish C. chinensis, S. spenanthera, S. nigra, and K. japonica. These sequence differences at corresponding positions are avaliable nucleotide markers to determine the botanical origin of O-mi-ja. Moreover, we evaluated the phylogenetic relationship of four plant species by the analysis of nrDNA-ITS sequences. Conclusions: These marker nucleotides would be useful to identify the official herbal medicines by the providing of definitive information that can identify each plant species and distinguish it from unauthentic adulterants for O-mi-ja.

        In this work, pellet type sorbents were prepared to control the low level indoor carbon dioxide with various physical compositions. In order to enhance the adsorption capacity, a few additives including alkali hydroxides were added to a commercial zeolitic sorbent by impregnation of alkali cation - Ca2+ through physical mixing and ion exchange. It was found that the binding materials such as dextrin or bentonite facilitating to form the granular sorbents would assist the adsorption capacity of sorbents. The ion exchange was more efficient for impregnation of alkalies, which showed better adsorption of gaseous CO2.

        산수유 분말을 첨가한 설기떡의 품질 특성

        본 연구에서는 약리작용과 기능성이 함유된 국내산 산수유를 설기떡에 활용하여 건강식품으로 보급 발전시키기 위하여 산수유를 설기떡 재료의 최적 배합 비율을 얻고자 하였다. 멥쌀가루에 0, 5, 10, 15, 20%의 동결건조한 산수유 분말을 첨가하여 설기떡을 제조하고 20℃에서 저장하여 시료로 사용하였으며, 수분함량, 색도, 당도, pH, 기계적 품질특성, 관능적 품질특성을 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 산수유 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록, 수분 함량이 증가하는 경향을 보였고 색도에서 L값은 감소하였으며, a값과 b값은 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 당도는 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하는 경향을 보였지만 pH 측정값은 낮아졌다. 경도(hardness), 부착성(adhesiveness)은 대조군이 가장 높았고, 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 응집성(cohesiveness)과 탄력성(springiness)은 산수유 분말 15% 첨가군이 가장 높은 값을 나타냈다. 씹힘성(chewiness)은 대조군과 산수유 첨가량의 유의적 차이는 나타나지 않았지만 산수유 15%일 때 가장 높은 값으로 측정되었다. 관능평가의 전체적인 기호도(overall-acceptability)는 산수유 첨가군 15% > 10% > 20% > 5% > 0% 순으로 나타났다. 따라서, 동결건조한 산수유 분말 첨가량이 15% 수준에서 설기떡에 첨가하여 제조하는 것이 적정한 수준으로 여겨진다. This study was conducted to evaluate the quality characteristics of Sulgidduk prepared with different amounts of Corni fructus powder. In order to discern the optimal addition level of Corni fructus powder, samples of Sulgidduk with 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20% (w/w) added Corni fructus powder were prepared, and after which the physicochemical, textural, and sensory quality characteristics were measured. With increasing Corni fructus powder level, the moisture content of the samples increased (34.45∼38.30%), and their L-values decreased. According to the texture analysis, hardness and adhesiveness decreased with increasing amounts of Corni fructus powder. From the sensory tests, the 15% (w/w) Corni fructus powder sample received the highest overall-acceptability score with proper levels of color, flavor, sweetness, and chewiness. As a result, in order to increase the usage of Corni fructus, the optimal Sulgidduk formulation consisted of 15% (w/w) Corni fructus powder added to rice flour.
