The purpose of this study is to search effect that GCM joint treatment gets to right and left range of motion of neck, lumbar, trunk and anke joint. Estimated body deformity using GCM body type assesment chart then measured range of motion of each region. After control group did as act freely after do experiment premeasurement control group did postmeasurement. Each region was measured by measurer who each subject person differs. Experimental group did GCM joint treatment and all measurements each region by measurer who each subject person differs three times measured. When measure with each measurement, measured after leave and walk time interval for 10 minutes. For the analysis of the resulr of experiment the results is change amount comparison increased to keep in mind except ankle joint's dorsiflexion before experiment of experimental group and control group(P<.05). Before an experiment and after an experiment of experimental group, differed to keep in mind in right and left comparison of neck rotation, dorsiflexion, plantaflexin of ankle joint in change amount comparison(P<.05). Neck lateral flexion appears and displayed significantly level right and left difference than rotation after experiment of experimental group(P<.05). Because dorsiflexion, plantefleaion of ankle joint became similar right and left significantly difference did not appear(P<.05).

In experimental group, cervical, lumber and ankle joint of range of motion was significantly increased(p<.05).

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compared the muscle activities of vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, rectus femoris in open kinetic chain and closed kinetic chain. Methods: Subjects of the study were 30 adults students. They were divided into 2 group, one for open kinetic chain and other for closed kinetic chain of extension, flexion, the maximum extension for vastus medialis, vastus latarealis, rectus femoris muscle activation. Results: Rectus femoris increased open kinetic chain group about all posture and vastus medialis increased open kinetic chain group about the maximum extension and flexion. and vastus lateralis increased open kinetic chain group about the maximum extension and flexion. Conclusion: Muscle activation are at the highest with the open kinetic chain in vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, rectus femoris. probably steady exercise thinked for open kinetic chain and closed kinetic chain.

Purpose:This study aims to figure out problems in Korea`s physical therapy, how to improve it, and the need for it by examining the nation`s physical therapy charges. Methods:This study was performed based on materials from the National Health Insurance Corporation, Korean academic theses, and domestic medical charge system. Results:The number of patients with physical therapy stood at around 17,764,428 in 2008, and then has gradually rose to 3 out of 100,000 citizens. The National Health Insurance Charge System based on relative values, which has been applied since 2001, is not desirable in that it is increasing patients` financial burden. Also, in deciding the amount of work carried out by physical therapists, their amount of input time, efforts, labor, and stress from their patients were not considered and the false relative value system has made patients pay more. Conclusion:Korean medical insurance charges and the overall system should be improved, so that physical therapists can perform specialized services of global physical therapy and service receiving patients do not incur losses.

Background/Aims: The tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) staging is an useful system to assess the prognosis of any solid cancer. As new TNM staging classification of 7th stomach cancer was revised in 2009, we evaluated the prognostic predictability of the 7th International Union Against Cancer/American Joint Committee on Cancer (UICC/AJCC) TNM classification compared to 6th UICC/AJCC TNM classification in gastric cancer. Methods: From January 2000 to December 2009, 5-year survival rates of 266 patients with gastric cancer were calculated by the 6th and 7th UICC/AJCC TNM classification. Results: Using the 7th UICC/AJCC TNM classification, there was no significant difference in the 5-year cumulative survival rates (5 YSR) between stage IIA and IIB, IIB and IIIA, and IIIA and IIIB (70% vs. 71%, p=0.530; 71% vs. 80%, p=0.703; 80% vs. 75%, p=0.576, respectively) though significant differences of the survival rates were observed among stages of 6th edition. Using T stage of 7th edition, 5 YSR was not different between T2 and T3 (86% vs. 82%, p=0.655). Using N stage of 7th edition, 5 YSR were not different between N1 and N2, N3a and N3b (79% vs. 81%, p=0.506; 41% vs. 17%, p=0.895, respectively). Conclusions: The 7th UICC/AJCC TNM classification had poor prognostic predictability in gastric cancer compared to the 6th edition. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2011;58:258-263)
강변여과수 개발을 위한 낙동강 충적층 지하수의 지구화학적 특성연구

지하수의 인공함양특성을 해석하기 위한 기초조사로서 낙동강변의 충적층내에 부존하는 자연수의 지구화학적 특성을 연구하였다. 전체적으로 시추공 및 지표수에 대한 현장측정자료는 시기별로 큰 차이를 보이지 않는다. 연구지역의 자연수는 Ca-HCO3형에서부터 Ca-SO4형에 속하며 특히 미량원소로서 Mn의 함량이 매우 높게 나타나고 있다. 다중패커시스템 (Multi-packer system)에 의해 채취된 시료에 대해 심도에 따른 변화를 살펴보면 Na, Ca, Mg, HCO3의 함량이 심도가 깊어질수록 증가하고 있고, Cl과 SO4의 경우는 맨 하부구간인 18m에서 채취된 시료들이 시료채취시기와 관계없이 매우 낮은 값을 보인다. 미량원소의 경우 문제가 되는 Mn은 시료채취 시기와 관계없이 중간 구간인 13.5m 구간에서 특히 많은 함량을 보이고 있다. 연구지역내 물시료들에 대한 산소와 수소 동위원소 및 삼중수소 함량 분석결과는 다중패커설치공 및 일반 관측공과 지표수들간에 서로 중첩되어 구분이 어렵다. 황동위원소 분석결과는 지하수내 황의 기원이 퇴적암을 구성하는 황산염광물의 용해에 의한 것으로 판단된다. 스트론튬 동위원소비는 양수정 및 그 인접공의 시료들과 강변에서 인접한 공의 시료들간에 차이는 있으나 명확하지는 않다. 질소동위원소 분석결과를 살펴보면 전반적으로 화학비료로나 토양내의 유기물로부터 유래한 것으로 해석할 수 있다. Geochemical studies on the alluvial aquifer system near the Nakdong River were carried out for the basic investigation of the estimation of artificial recharge for the river bank filtration. In-situ data do not show any distinct difference between the pumping well and river. Most of waters belong to Ca-HCO3 and Ca-SO4 types and show high Mn concentration. In the borehole installed with Multi-packer (MP) system, Na, Ca, Mg, HCO3 contents of the groundwater are increased with depth increasing. Cl and SO4 contents of the groundwater show the lowest values at the bottom level (18m depth) and Mn content is very high at the middle level (13.5 m depth) of MP system. There is no distinct difference in the δ18O and D values and tritium content between MP, borehole and surface water samples. The sulfur isotope data indicate that the possible sulfur source is dissolution of sulfate mineral from sedimentary rock. Strontium isotope ratio shows a little differences between the pumping well and observation borehole samples. Nitrogen isotope data indicate that the nitrogen of water samples is originated from fertilizer or organic materials.
