The purpose of this study is to prevent safety accidents and to help development of first aid education programs in case of safety accidents of modern people where exposure frequency of various safety accidents as well as the level of danger increases. To achieve the purpose of this study, 472 university and graduate students in the metropolitan area were selected by convenience sampling method. 472 questionnaires were circulated and collected and analyzed 408 questionnaires except for 64 questionnaires which were deemed unreliable. The conclusion of the study is as follows. When it comes to the level of first aid knowledge depending on completion of the first aid training, trained people showed higher knowledge level than untrained. When it comes to the perception on first aid education depending on first aid training, both trained and untrained people showed high perception level in first aid education. The average level of first aid knowledge depending on the number of first aid training was higher as the number of education increased. Therefore, based on the high level of perception in first aid education, first aid education should be repeatedly implemented at each regional unit, and efforts should be made at the same time to prevent the theoretical education and to transform the training into the practical training for individual emergency situation.
피로설계 및 평가를 위한 3차원 유한요소 응력해석에 관한 고찰: 모터구동밸브를 이용한 사례연구

In this paper, a new procedure is proposed to accomplish the primary plus secondary stress(P+Q) at the ‘structural element’ instead of ‘transition element’. For the P+Q evaluation, the calculated stresses by FEA are linearized along a stress classification line to extract the stress category, then the stress intensity is calculated to compare with the 3Sm limit. Also, in this paper, the ‘design by analysis’ criteria, adopted fundamental concepts and a new approach to calculate Ke factors are explained. The new procedure combined with 3-D FEA has been applied to motor operated valve in order to the over conservatism and the rack of margin. The evaluation results show a good applicability and can be utilized for fatigue life evaluation by using P+Q.
내압이 작용하는 증기발생기 균열 세관의 탄소성 파괴역학해석

The structural and leakage integrity of steam generator tube should be maintained during operation even though a crack is existed on it. During the past three decades, several limit load solutions have been proposed to resolve the integrity issue. However, for exact load carrying capacity estimation of specific components under different conditions, these solutions have to be modified by using lots of experimental data. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new burst pressure estimation scheme based on fracture mechanics analyses for steam generator tube with an axial or circumferential through-wall crack. To do this, closed-form engineering equations were derived to get relevant parameters from three dimensional elastic-plastic finite element analyses combined with reference stress method. Also, a series of structural integrity analyses were carried out using the calculated J-integral from engineering equations and fracture toughness data. Thereby, in comparison with the experimental data as well as corresponding estimation results from limit load solutions, it was proven that the proposed estimation scheme can be used as an efficient tool for integrity evaluation of cracked steam generator tubes

Meniscectomy is indicated for the internal derangement of disk with perforation and gross morphological changes, nonreactive to conservative treatment procedures. After the meniscectomy, permanent disk replacement can be followed. Variable materials have been introduced for disk replacement. Of them, relatively harder replacing materials should have been fixed with surgical wire only. This poor fixation method provide inadequate retentive force and conclusively can be attributed to postoperative noise, poor prognosis. We tried to use biocompatible fibrin adhesive in order to obtain additional fixation force in the method above mentioned and treated two patients with the late stage of internal derangement of disk In both cases, satisfactory results were obtained.
표면처리에 의한 유기발광소자(OLED)용 Ag 전극의 Nano-size 효과 연구

Top-Emitting OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) 디스플레이에서는 반사율이 가장 높은 Ag (silver) 박막이 쓰이고 있지만, 소자에서 요구되는 일함수(work function)가 상대적으로 낮기 때문에 전극과 유기물간에 에너지 장벽이 발생하여 발광효율을 낮추는 요인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Ag 전극의 일함수를 높이기 위한 연구를 진행하였으며, 박막 형태의 Ag 전극에 대하여 nanotribology 접근법으로 연구를 실행하였다. Ag는 rf magnetron sputter를 이용해 glass 위에 증착한 후 furnace에서 $300^{\circ}C$, 30분간 대기 중에서 열처리하였고, 또 다른 시료는 표면에 산소 상압플라즈마로 처리 시간(30, 60, 90, 120s)을 각기 다르게 하여 시료를 제조하였다. Ag 전극을 nanoindentation을 통해 국부 영역에 대한 물리적 특성의 변화를 측정하였고, Kelvin probe force microscopy을 이용해 시료 표면의 포텐셜을 측정했다. 그 결과 열처리한 시료의 포텐셜값은 가장 크게 증가하였지만 균일도가 낮아졌다. 120s 플라즈마 처리한 시료는 불완전한 산화막의 생성으로 인해 탄성계수 및 경도값과 박막의 Weibull modulus를 극히 낮게 만들었지만, 60s, 90s 플라즈마 처리는 시료의 균일도를 높이고 또한 포텐셜을 증가시켜 T-OLED 성능 개선에 좋은 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. Although silver is used for T-OLED (Top emitting organic Light-Emitting Diode) as reflective anode, it is not an ideal material due to its low work function. Thus, we study the effect of annealing and atmospheric pressure plasma treatment on Ag film that increases its work function by forming the thin silver oxide layer on its surface. In this study, we deposited silver on glass substrate using RF sputtering. Then we treated the Ag samples annealing at $300^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes in atmosphere or treating the atmospheric plasma treatment for 30, 60, 90, 120s, respectively. We measured the change of the mechanical properties and the potential value of surface with each one at a different treatment type and time. We used nano-indenter system and KPFM (Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy). KPFM method can be measured the change of surface potential. The nanoindenter results showed that the plasma treatment samples for 30s, 120s had very low elastic modulus, hardness and Weibull modulus. However, annealed sample and plasma treated samples for 60s and 90s had better mechanical properties. Therefore, plasma treatment increases the uniformity thin film and the surface potential that is very effective for the performace of T-OLED.

District heating(DH) plant is one of major facility can be used to reduce environmental pollution. The DH pipes transmit the heat and prevent heat loss during transportation, which consists of supply and return pipes, and each pipe is operated under different temperature fluctuation condition. The objectives of this paper are to systematize data processing of transition temperature and investigate its effects on fatigue life of DH pipes. As a result, reliable fatigue life evaluation procedures as well as a relational database management system were established and successfully applied to Korean DH pipes.
원목(原木), 병재배(甁栽培) 및 야생(野生) 영지(靈芝)의 추출물이 Saccharomyces cerevisiae의 생리에 미치는 영향

영지(靈芝(Ganoderma lucidum(Fr.) Karst)) 추출물이 효모(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)의 증식과 생리에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위하여 재배별 영지추출물을 각각 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0% 첨가한 Hayduck 액 배지에 효모를 접종하여 5일간 $30^{\circ}C$에서 발효시키면서 $CO_2$ 발생량, 균체생산, alcohol 발효 등을 조사하였다. 발효과정중 효모의 $CO_2$ 발생량은 발효 120시간 경과후 영지추출물 첨가구에서 모두 대조구보다 증가하였으며 이들 중 병재배 영지추출물 1.0% 첨가구에서 $CO_2$발생량이 가장 많았다. 발효과정중 효모의 세포수는 영지추출물 첨가구의 경우 모두 대조구보다 증가하였으며 병재배 영지추출물 첨가구가 원목영지추출물 및 야생영지추출물보다 세포수가 많았다. 효모의 건조균체량은 pot 0.5%구(區)>Pot 1.0%구(區) wild 1.0%구(區)>wood 1.0%구(區)>wood 0.5%구(區)>wild 0.5% 구(區)>wild 0.1% 구(區)>Pot 0.1% 구(區)> wood 0. 1% 구(區)>대조구의 순서로 증가하였으며 병재배영지추출물 첨가구는 원목재배나 야생영지추출물 첨가구보다 많았다. 각 처리구의 alcohol 함량은 발효 72시간의 경우 영지추출물 첨가구는 모두 대조구보다 3배 이상으로 많았으나 120시간 발효 후에는 큰 차이가 없었다. 발효과정중 효모의 당소비율과 발효율은 발효초기에 영지추출물 첨가구가 대조구보다 현저히 높았으나, 그 후 시간이 경과함에 따라 비슷하게 나타났다. This study has been investigated the effect of Ganordema lucidum extract on Saccharomyces cerevisiae growth and physiology. Sacch. cerevisiae was inoculated in Hayduck solution medium which were added 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0% extracts of G. lucidum and fermented at $30^{\circ}C$ for 5 days respectively. Some results about cell number, alcohol content and carbon dioxide products during fermentation are as follows: $CO_2$ evolution of yeasts by addition of extract of G. lucidum was more increased than control after the fermentation for 120 hours. It was the most abundant by addition of 1.0% extract of pot-culture G. lucidum. The cell number of yeasts during the fermentation w as more increased than control by addition of extract of G. lucidum. It was by addition of extract of pot-culture G. lucidum that the cell number of yeasts was more increased than by each addition of extract of wood-culture G. lucidum and G. lucidum. Dry weight of yeasts was systematically increased in addition of extract of pot 0.5%>pot 1.0%>wild 1.0%>wood 1.0%=wood 0.5%>wild 0.5%>wild 0.1%>pot 0.1%>wood 0.1%>control in order. It was by addition of extract of pot-culture G. lucidum that. the dry weight of yeasts was more increased than by addition of woodculture G. lucidum and wild G. lucidum. Alcohol quantity by addition of extract of G. lucidum was increased more than 3 times after the fermentation for 72 hours compared with control but there was no any difference among them after the fermentation for 120 hours. The rate of sugar-consumption and fermentation of yeast by addition of extract of G. lucidum was highly increased during the early fermentation. As times went, there was no difference among them during the subsequent fermentation.
