        Acute Acalculous Cholecystitis with Bacteremia Caused by Streptococcus anginosus Following Dental Procedure in a Previously Healthy Adolescent

        Streptococcus anginosus는 Streptococcus milleri group에 속하는 viridians streptococci의 한 종으로, 사람의 구강, 상부 호흡기, 위장관 및 여성 생식기에 정상 세균총으로 존재하며, 숙주의 면역 상태에 따라 질환을 일으킬 수 있다. 저자들은 치과 치료 후 발열, 황달, 우상복부 불편감을 주소로 내원한 건강하였던 15세 남아에서 S. anginosus에 의한 균혈증이 동반된 급성 무결석 쓸개염을 진단하였고, 환아는 항균제 치료 후 호전되었다. 소아 청소년 시기에 흔하지 않은 급성 무결석 쓸개염이 기저 질환 없는 청소년에서 viridians streptococci에 의해 발생한 드문 경우이다. Streptococcus anginosus is a member of Streptococcus milleri group, and is found in the oral mucosa, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract as normal flora. It can develop into a disease in patients with deteriorating clinical condition or with clinical risk factors. A previously healthy 15-year-old boy was admitted due to fever, abdominal discomfort and vomiting which lasted for 7 days. He had a history of dental procedure 1 day before the development of fever. He was diagnosed with acute acalculous cholecystitis based on the clinical, laboratory, and imaging finding, and S. anginosus was isolated from the blood culture. The patient was successfully treated with antibiotic therapy.

        레진 시멘트와 상아질접착제를 사용한 콤포지트 레진 코아의 전단결합강도에 관한 연구

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was aimed to compare the shear bond strength on dentin of three dentin bonding agents and two resin cements used in conjunction with self-cured composite resin core material. Material and method : Control group and six experimental groups were divided for this study. Control group was designated as specimens bonded with Tenure$ A&B^{(R)}$. Experimental groups were as follows : PB-BL group : specimens bonded with Prime&Bond $NT^{(R)}$, $BondLink^{(R)}$ SB-BL group : specimens bonded with $^{(R)}$, BondLink$SingleBond^{(R)}$ PB group : specimens bonded with Prime&Bond $NT^{(R)}$ SB group : specimens bonded with $SingleBond^{(R)}$ PF group : specimens bonded with $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ BI group specimens bonded with Bistite $II^{(R)}$ All specimens were stored in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water for 24 hours, followed by the shear bond strength was tested by universal testing machine. The data was analysed statistically by Mann-Whitney test. Results : 1. For Prime&Bond $NT^{(R)}$ and $SingleBonde^{(R)}$, the shear bond strength was 0.24 MPa and 7.19 MPa each by each, while Tenure $A&B^{(R)}$ group control was measured at 13.93 MPa (p<0.05). Especially for Prime&Bond $NT^{(R)}$ it did not get conjunction with dentin. 2. For Prime&Bond $NT^{(R)}$ and $SingleBond^{(R)}$ using $BondLink^{(R)}$, there was no significant difference as a result of 11.73 MPa and 14.00 MPa each by each (p<0.05). 3. For $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ and Bistite $II^{(R)}$, they showed the highest shear bond strength as measured by 18.24 MPa and 16.09 MPa each (p<0.05).

        ICA-SIFT를 이용한 물체인식

        A study on the object recognition is a main interest in the field of the image processing and various applied researches. The one method of the object recognitions is feature based object recognition. SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm which is robust in illumination and has the quality which is not relationship to size and rotation of image was proposed. However, there is a disadvantage that feature matching performance is gone down when camera movies or view angle of object changes. This paper presents ICA-SIFT(Independent Component Analysis-Scale Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm to improve recognition performance. it can be obtained more distinctive feature matching performance through this method and improved in accuracy as ave. 7.9% than SIFT. also, it can be possible that object recognition is more correct using reliable matching data through eliminating mismatching data.

        화강암 골재를 이용한 아스팔트 혼합물의 동탄성 계수 예측방정식

        본 연구에서는 화강암 골재를 이용한 아스팔트 표층용 혼합물 및 기층용 혼합물의 동탄성계수를 평가하고, 배합설계에 사용된 데이터를 바탕으로 신뢰성이 높고, 간단한 형태의 동탄성계수 예측방정식을 개발하는 목표를 두고 있다. 기존의 마샬 배합설계가 아닌 슈퍼페이브 배합설계를 이용하여, 재료들의 기본 물성치를 정리하였다. 표층용(13㎜ 및 19㎜)과 기층용 (25㎜) 밀입도 아스팔트 혼합물을 적용하였고, 국내의 대표적인 아스팔트 AP-3, AP-5 아스팔트 바인더를 이용하여 배합설계를 실시하였다. 최적아스팔트함량에 공극률 2%, 4%, 6%의 시편과 공극률 4%에 최적 아스팔트 함량에서 ±1%의 아스팔트 함량을 이용하여 시편을 제작하였다. 5개의 다른 시험온도, -10, 5, 21, 40, 55℃ 및 0.05, 0.1, 1, 10, 25㎐의 5개의 하중주파수를 이용하여 일축압축 시험모드로 동탄성 계수를 평가하였다. 기존의 동탄성계수 예측용 Witczak 방정식을 표층용 및 기층용 아스팔트 혼합물 실험결과를 이용하여 국내 아스팔트 혼합물에 적용할 수 있는 수정된 예측방정식을 제안하였다. 예측방정식에 사용된 각각의 변수들에 의한 영향정도를 상호 비교 평가하였고, 제한된 실험 자료로 인해 예측방정식의 신뢰도는 약 80% 수준으로 평가되었다. The presented work provided a predictive equation for dynamic modulus of hot mix asphalt, which showed higher reliability and more simplicity. Lots of test result by UTM at laboratory has been used to develop the precise predictive equation. Evaluation of dynamic modulus for 13㎜ and 19㎜ surface course and 25㎜ of base course of hot mix asphalt with granite aggregate and two asphalt binders (AP-3 and AP-5) were carried out. Superpave Level 1 Mix Design with gyrator compactor was adopted to determine the optimum asphalt binder content (OAC) and the measured ranges of OAC were between 5.1% and 5.4% for surface HMA, and around 4.2% for base HMA. The dynamic modulus and phase angle were determined by testing on UTM, with 5 different testing temperature (-10, 5, 20, 40, & 55℃) and 5 different loading frequencies (0.05, 0.1, 1, 10, 25 ㎐). Using the measured dynamic modulus and phase angle, the input parameters of Sigmoidal function equation to represent the master curve were determined and these will be adopted in FEM analysis for asphalt pavements. The effect of each parameter for equation has been compared. Due to the limitation of laboratory tests, the reliability of predictive equation for dynamic modulus is around 80%.

For Prime & Bond NT and SingleBond using BondLink, there was no significant difference as a result of 11.73 Mpa and 14.00 Mpa each by each (p,0.05). 3. For Panavia-F and Bistite Ⅱ, they showed the highest shear bond strength as measured by 18.24 MPa and 16.09 MPa each(p<0.05).
