Esophageal diverticulum is a rare entity, the true incidence of which is unknown, mainly because there are usually no clinical symptoms. Most esophageal diverticulum are found incidentally during an endoscopic or radiologic examination. Their classification is based on anatomical location; namely, upper third(Zenker or pharyngoesophageal), middle third(thoracic), or lower third(epiphrenic). Here we report a 52-years-old female presenting with dysphagia and regurgitation. Esophagogram showed esophageal diveticulum at lower cervical esophagus. Its positional aspect, it is different from Zenker's diveticulum. Treatment is surgical via an endoscopic or external approach. In view of the patient's age and anatomical location, various surgical approaches were considered as a therapeutic option for the management. This paper presents our experience in the management of esophageal diverticulum which was unusual location and stapled open resection without sternotomy.

원조와 해외직접투자가 수원국의 수출다각화에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 1995~2014 기간의 AfT 수원국의 불균형 패널데이터를 활용하여 고정효과 모형을 통해 AfT와 FDI 유입이 수원국의 수출고도화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그리고 두 가지 종류의 자본이 상호작용 하는지를 (서로를 보완하는지 대체하는지) 중심으로 실증적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서의 ‘수출고도화’는 수출다각화를 중심으로 이루어졌으며 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 수원국에 AfT 재원이 투입되면 구조적으로 수원국의 수출다각화(집중영역의 수출다각화 포함)가 커지며, 이는 FDI가 그 영향을 더 증폭시켜 주었다. 반면 AfT가 확장영역의 수출다각화에 미치는 영향은 FDI의 영향을 받아 새로운 수출품목 · 지역으로의 확장 가능성이 오히려 줄어들었으며 이는 확장영역의 수출다각화에 있어 AfT와 FDI가 대체관계에 있음을 의미한다. AfT를 구성하는 세부요소들은 집중영역과 확장영역의 수출다각화를 포함한 불균등도에 대체로 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 해당국가의 수출구조를 세계시장의 수출구조와 비교적 유사하게 개선시키는 효과가 있었으며 나아가 기존 수출품목 및 수출지역으로 수출이 집중되는 것을 방지하는 효과가 나타나는 경향이 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해서도 알 수 있듯이 개도국은 해외원조 그 중에서도 AfT 성격의 원조를 적극 활용하여 자국의 수출을 다각화해야 할 것이다. This study aims to empirically estimate the effects of Aid for Trade and Foreign Direct Investigation on export diversification in recipient countries. The paper examines export diversification, AfT and FDI data from IMF, OECDCRS and UNCTAD database to analyze the determinants of export diversification in recipient countries from1995 to 2014 by using an fixed effect model. Export diversification had been attributed to a new export product and expanded exporting areas(extensive margin) rather than existing one and intra-structural diversification of exporting areas(intensive margin). The findings based on our empirical analysis suggest that total AfT flows have a positive impact on export diversification and FDI inflows also exert a positive effect on export diversification. Lastly AfT and FDI inflows are complement in achieving export diversification in recipient countries. Our results provide that the AfT flows would help recipient countries promote the diversification of their export product baskets, which would help them integrate into the multilateral trading system.

축산물 가격변동이 물가에 미치는 파급 영향 분석

The price of fresh meats have been severely fluctuated with the increased incidents caused by livestock diseases in these days. Many consumers suffered from unfavorable economic condition recognize the price fluctuation of fresh meats as a main source of the increase in general price. However, the general price are affected by the interaction of all products within an economic system. This study aims to examine the effect of a price change in fresh meats on the general price level and consumer price index (CPI) using Input-Output (IO) model that shows the interaction among industries in a country. The results show that the price change in fresh meats has a limited effect on the general price level and CPI. In addition, its effects are trivial compared to that of public sector.

얼굴인식을 이용한 자동 도어록 구현

본 구현의 배경은 도어록을 이용한 범죄에 사람들이 노출되어 있다는 점에 주목했다. 기존 도어록들은 숫자 키 패드, 카드 인식, 열쇠로 이루어져 있다. 이러한 시제품들은 지속적인 범죄의 노출로 인해 보안성이 우수하지 못하다. 또한 기존 시제품인 얼굴인식 도어록은 일반 사용자들이 구매하기에는 고가에 판매되고 있기 때문에 접근성이 떨어진다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 구현에서는 사용자들이 라즈베리파이 모듈, 카메라 모듈, 라즈베리파이 터치스크린, 서보모터로만 구성되어 있는 얼굴인식 기반 자동 도어록을 통해 소비자의 접근성을 높이고 개인 고유의 얼굴인식 키(Key)를 통해 보안성의 이점을 동시에 가져갈 수 있는 얼굴 인식을 이용한 자동 도어록을 제작하였다.

충북지역 하나로마트의 효율성 분석과 대형화에 대한 시사점

This study aims to analyze the technical efficiency of Hanaro-Mart in Chungbuk province and provide the implication for the scale expansion. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used for the efficiency analysis and tobit analysis for the implication of scale expansion. Data from 93 Hanaro-Mart were collected and divided into two regional categories, City and Myun for the analysis. Results show that technical efficiency of City is higher than that of Myun region and most Hanaro-Mart is being operated in an increasing return to scale (IRS) or a decreasing return to scale (DRS), which shows a room for the improvement of efficiency through the scale adjustment. Tobit analysis, however, performed for the IRS Hanaro-Mart shows that scale expansion made for the improvement of scale efficiency results in a decrease in the pure technical efficiency, thus providing a trade off. This implies that each Hanaro-Mart needs to expand its scale or improve efficiency based on the thorough analysis of management performance.

The purpose of this study is to develop an optimal sales decision-making programming for post-harvest apples by using EV model with simulation. To determine sales decision-making, various factors are considered for EV model, including harvesttime price, future expected price, habitual sales, cash requirement, storage cost, loss rate, price fluctuation, and risk aversion. The result shows that if farmers are risk neutral, all types sell apples in the period with the highest expected profit except the minimum sales volume set in each period. As risk aversion parameter increases, more sales are made in the periods close to harvesting period with smaller variance. When risk aversion parameter is extremely high, all types provide apples in sales periods with minimum variance except the minimum sales volumes set in each period. Additionally, it shows that most farmers get the highest income when they have no constraints in both minimum sales volume and sales periods.

Sinonasal malignant tumors comprise less than 1% of all cancers and 3% of all malignant tumors of the head and neck, which explains a lack of large series addressing the clinical characteristics and management of these tumors. Neck node metastasis occurs in only about 7% to 15% of malignant tumors compared with other head and neck cancers. A 90-yr-old woman presented with left palpable neck mass and right nasal mass occupying nasal cav-ity. Fine needle aspiration biopsy of left neck mass results in metastatic squamous cell carcinoma(SCC). PET/CT shows intense FDG uptake in right nasal cavity with bone invasion. Histopathologic examination of excised lesion in the right nasal cavity revealed SCC. We report here on a primary sinonasal SCC with contralateral lymph node metastasis.

기업의 사회적 책임이 ODA무역에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study, focused onOfficial Development Assistance(ODA) as a solution to the global polarization and demonstrated howcorporate social responsibility (CSR) plays a role in raising the performance of ODA. First, socio - economic value and profit -created by CSV activities have a significant effect on constructing an economic reciprocal relationship between donor countries and recipient countries. In addition, it has shown that it promotes the simultaneous development of companies and society through the strategic CSRmodel and consequently contributes to the achievement ofODA. Second, it suggests that the elements of the BOPmodel have a significant effect on improving the unreasonable wage system and unethical working conditions of developing countries. Furthermore, this suggests that improving the income of the poor can improve the performance of ODA. Third, this study reconstructed CSR Pyramid of Carrol and newly devised CSRD theory. In the case of ODA to developing countries, economic, legal, ethical, and charitable responsibilities are set priorities. In this study, it is suggested that the priority should be flexibly set as economic→charitable→ ethical →legal responsibility. This study reexamines the strategic CSR model in the international management field and conducted empirical analysis onCSV, BOP, CSRDmodel as the constituent elements. In addition, the strategic CSR model that has moved away fromthe traditional and old-fashioned perspectives still has room for development, and exploratory research to develop themodel will continue to contribute to clarifying the concept and scope of CSR.
