교육의 역할에 대한 국제사회의 주된 관심은 사회 진보를 위해 교육이 무엇을 가르쳐야 하는가로 발전하고 있다(OECD, 2015; OECD, 2010). 과거 교육의 경제적 효용성에 대한 논 의가 활발하였다면, 이제는 한 사회의 지속적인 발전에 기여하는 교육의 역할이 주목받고 있다(Kautz, Heckman, Diris, ter Weel, & Borghans, 2014; 김태준·홍영란·류성창·이광현·장 근영, 2012). 이러한 점에서는 비인지적 역량인 사회정서적 역량에 대한 관심이 높아지고 그 중요성에 대한 인식이 확대되고 있다(Schultz, Ainley, & Jrailon, 2011; 김태준·오민아·이 은경, 2015).

미국내 바랭이의 지역적 분포와 잡초로서의 중요성

미국내에서 바랭이의 지역적 분포와 각 재배작물에서 잡초로서의 중요성을 자료화하기 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 117개의 배포된 설문지중 72개의 설문지가 회수되어 62%의 응답률을 보였다. 미극내의 농, 원예작물 재배지역에는 5종의 바랭이가 분포하는 것으로 보고되었고, 이들은 large, smooth, southern, india 그리고 blanket crabgrass 등이었다. 이들 중 약 50% 이상의 응답자가 large crabgrass를 가장 문제잡초로 인식하고 있었다. 지역적으로 smoth와 large crabgrass는 모든 위도에서 그 우점도가 인정된 반면, southern crabgrass는 우점도가 남부지역에 제한되는 것으로 보고되었다. 바랭이는 다른 작물의 재배지역보다 잔디밭에서 그 문제가 보다 심각한 것으로 보고되었다. 남부지역의 잔디밭에서는 large, southern 그리고 smooth crabgrass의 순서로, 북부지역에서는 smooth crabgrass가 large crabgrass보다 잡초로서의 문제성이 큰 것으로 보고되었다. 대부분의 응답자들은 종내변이성이 smooth와 large crabgrass에는 존재하지 않는 것으로 응답하였으나, southern crabgrass내에는 존재하는 것으로 보고되었다.

다문화 사회에서의 시민교육과 사회적 자본

In this study, the youth of our country's citizenship (citizenship) and social capital (social capital) level, and educational factors related to the summary of existing research results are analyzed by region. Korean youth has showed lowest scores of trust for others, trust and confidence of foreigners among the other OECD countries. And the international community and belonging, national identity was weak in also. In addition, regional, gender, education discrimination was greater than that of religion, political opinions, hierarchy and rank. Patriarchal and sexist attitudes rather appeared to increase. Except for vote, overall political and social participation has reduced. Commitment to local community and civic organizations, labor unions and other public organizations that were low. Unlike the OECD countries, the higher the educational level, civic and social participation increased, educational level had little effect in Korea. In this result, educational features of Korea, focussed on the knowledge, technology, not on behavior and attitude, were discussed. And for the ability to resolve the direction of public education were explored. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 청소년과 성인들의 시민성(citizenship) 및 사회적 자본(social capital) 수준과 이와 관련된 교육적 요인에 대한 기존 조사결과를 영역별로 요약하고 비교분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 우리나라 청소년들은 타인과 외국인에 대한 신뢰 수준이 OECD 가입국 중에서 가장 낮았으며 국제사회의 소속감, 국가 정체성에서 모두 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 청소년과 성인들에 대한 조사결과 지역, 성별, 학력에 대한 차별의식이 세대나 정치성향, 계층이나 직급, 종교의 차이보다 더 컸고, 가부장적이고 성차별적인 태도가 감소하는 것이 아니라 오히려 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 사회참여에 있어서는 투표 참여를 제외하고는 정치ㆍ사회참여 경향이 전반적으로 감소했으며 특히, 지역사회 및 시민단체, 노동조합 등 공공조직 참여에서 낮았다. 특히 교육수준이 높을수록 사회적 참여나 시민성이 증가하는 OECD가입국들과는 달리 우리나라는 교육수준에 따른 향상효과가 거의 없었다. 이에 대해 한국교육이 개인의 지식, 기술을 배양하는 것에 초점을 두어온 문제점을 지적하고, 급속한 이민자(외국인 노동자, 국제결혼 등)의 유입으로 다원화, 다문화 사회에서 타인과 상호작용하면서 관계를 원만히 맺고 협력할 수 있으며 갈등을 관리, 해결하는 능력을 위한 시민교육의 방향을 탐색하였다.

새포아풀(Poa annua sp.)의 종자휴면과 발아특성

Two types of annual bluegrass have been reported, and those consist of annual type (Poa annua ssp. annua) and perennial type (Poa annua ssp. reptans). As a weed, annual bluegrasses are commonly found in putting greens and fairways in many golf courses. Due to its strong competitiveness such as tremendous seed reproduction rate a year, prostrate growth habit, and no herbicide availability, annual bluegrasses have been considered as one of the most hard-to-control weeds in turf management systems. A growth chamber study was conducted to determine seed dormancy and to understand seed germination characteristics of annual bluegrass (Poa annua ssp. annua). Freshly harvested seeds showed 80 and 55% germination at 30 and $35^{\circ}C$, respectively, indicating that the optimum temperature of annual bluegrass is $30^{\circ}C$. However, the seed germination occurred only under light condition at any given temperature. This result demonstrated that light is prerequisite for the seed germination, and no primary dormancy of annual bluegrass seed exists. Secondary seed dormancy induced by unfavorable temperatures and dark condition was broken through 4 to 6 wk-storage at $4^{\circ}C$ with moisture, and the stored seeds germinated at $20^{\circ}C$ even under the dark. In red and far-red light trial, fresh seeds resulted in 40% germination under red while no seed germination occurred under far-red light condition, indicating that phytochrome Pr and Pfr could be related to annual bluegrass seed germination. When the far-red light replaced the red the germination was recovered, but this reversibility did not reach to the germination level under the red light only. This result implied that other lights than red and far-red would play an important role on seed germination of annual bluegrass.

Terminal 2 of Incheon in'tl airport had made a grand opening since January 2018. Terminal 2 is currently operated by mainly Korean airline in cooperation with such skyteam members as Delta airline, Air France and Royal Dutch KLM. It is expected another three skyteam member airlines join the separate operation at terminal 2 since this coming winter. It is believed very meaningful research to analyze how separate operation of Global alliance of airlines affects the global brand image of an organization. To find out such effect, researchers have made an empirical analysis of perception of airline staffs working at terminal 2. This paper has focused on how the staffs perceive airline service quality in the changed working environment and on how significantly their perception on service has an effect on airline's global brand image with such moderating variables as organizational efficacy and organizational trust. According to empirical analysis using structural equation modeling, it was proven the variable of responsiveness among perceived airline service qualities had a direct significant effect on formulating airline's global brand image associated with joint venture between Korean airline and Delta airline. However, the other variables had a indirect significant effect on global brand image with moderating effects.

이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 TCP 프로토콜 성능 향상 방안의 조사

Several schemes have been proposed for TCP to perform well under mobile computing environment. TCP, which is widely used as reliable transport protocol, works well solving the problem of packet loss by congestion control, whereas it is unaware of packet loss caused by handoff or lossy wireless link. In this paper we classified the proposed schemes by two categories. One is to maintain an end-to-end TCP connection while providing additional functionality to the transport layer or the link layer. The other is to split TCP connection into two part, connection over wired link and wireless link. We explain and compare the characteristics of theses two kinds of schemes.
