In this study, the fracture toughness and the properties of microscopic structure of CFRP produced by injection molding was investigated by universal testing instrument and SEM in the rate of carbon fiber quantity and the weld line. we can obtain each fracture characteristic by performing the strength evaluation of polymer composite material according as carbon fiber ratio of carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate and weld line.

In this paper, CAE analysis and manufacturing of plastic injection molding using fiber reinforced plastics(FRP) were performed for tensile test specimen. ASTM for plastic tensile specimen was applied to design and prevent an injection mold from external impact damage. Injection molding experiments with variations of injection speed, temperature, pressure and weld line were performed and then carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate specimens was also performed. as a result, how to optimize mold design and connect systematically all of processes from mold design to manufacturing through the efficient use of CAE analysis in development process.

In ancient Goryeo celadon, the effect of the chemical composition and ionic state of Fe on the color was evaluated by Mossbauer spectroscopy and Design of Experiment (DOE) analysis. The ancient celadon pieces excavated from the kiln sites in GangJin and Buan areas were analyzed by Mssbauer spectroscopy, chromaticity, and DOE analysis. The color of celadon was found to be mainly determined by that of glaze since variations of $L^*$, $a^*$, and $b^*$ values for the body were much smaller than those for the glaze. As $Fe^{2+}$/$Fe^{3+}$ in glaze increases, $L^*$ value increases, whereas $a^*$/$b^*$ value decreases, which is well consistent with the result on the synthetic glaze. As the amount of titanium increases in the glaze, the $a^*$ and $b^*$ values decrease; on the other hand, the $L^*$ value increases, which is well consistent with the result on the synthetic glaze.

Mg and its alloys have attracted a lot of attention in many different sectors of engineering application such as automotive, aircraft, electronics, handled or household industry field. These are due to lightweight and superior specific strength of magnesium alloy. However, the low corrosion resistance of Mg alloys make it difficult to apply in many engineering application. The present investigation evaluates nanocomposite layers which were prepared by adding a multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to an epoxy resin aiming to study the resulting corrosion mechanism and corrosion performance of Mg alloy AM50. The pure polymer layer was investigated and compared between the nanocomposites containing CNTs. Distribution behavior of carbon nanotubes in the epoxy matrix was examined through forced scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The results demonstrated that, the CNTs demonstrated a good dispersion inside the polymer matrix. Both nanocomposite and pure coated samples showed subsequently good adhesive properties to resist aggressive corrosion under seawater environment for a long period.
La⅔Sr⅓MnO₃ / SiO₂ / Si(100) 박막의 저-자장 터널형 자기저항변화의 두께 의존성

Polycrystalline thin films of La⅔Sr⅓MnO₃(LSMO) were prepared by water-based sol-gel processing on thermally oxidized Si(100) substrate. The thickness dependence of the low-field tunnel-type magnetoresistance properties at room temperature was studied. Tunnel-type magnetoresistance at low-field is found to be strongly dependent on film thickness. Maximum value of tunnel-type magnetoresistance of LSMO thin films was appeared at the film thickness of ~1500 Å. This behavior can be explained in terms of dead layer between LSMO thin film and Si(100) substrate and thermal lattice strain effect in the LSMO thin films.
