The optical film for light luminance improvement of BLU that is used in LCD/LED and retro-reflective film is used as luminous sign consist of square and triangular pyramid structure pattern based on V-shape micro prism pattern. In this study, we analyzed machining characteristics of Cu-plated flat mold by shaping with diamond tool. First, cutting conditions were optimizing as V-groove machining for the experiment of micro prism structure mold machining with prism pattern shape, cutting force and roughness. Second, the micro prism structure such as square and triangular pyramid pattern were machined by cross machining method with optimizing cutting conditions. Burr and chip shape were discussed with material properties and machining method.

21세기 창의 인성교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있는 가운데, 정부는 IT융합형 인재 양성을 위해 노력하고 있다. Computational Thinking은 단순한 컴퓨터 활용 사고를 넘어서서 실제 문제 상황에서 컴퓨터 과학 기술을 사용하여 문제를 해결하는 정보과학적 사고를 의미하는데, 이 Computational Thinking에 기반한 IT융합형 인재는 다양한 교과 지식, 실제 문제 인식, 문제 해결 능력, 통합적 사고, 창의성, 의사 소통 능력, 도덕성을 역량으로 갖춘 인재가 되어야 할 것이다. 다시 말하면, Computational Thinking을 기반으로, 다양한 교과지식을 바탕으로 실제 문제를 인식하고, 통합적 사고와 창의성을 이용해 문제를 해결하는 능력을 지니며, 도덕성과 의사소통능력을 지닌 인재라고 할 수 있다.
평삭공정에서 경면가공을 위한 단결정 및 다결정 다이아몬드 다중공구의 가공성 평가

Mirror surface machining for large area flattening in the display field has a problem such as a tool wear and a increase in machining time due to large area machining. It should be studied to decrease machining time and tool wear. In this paper, multi-tool machining method using a PCD tool and a SCD tool was applied in order to decrease machining time and tool wear. Machining characteristics (cutting force, machined surface and surface roughness) of PCD tool and SCD tool were evaluated in order to apply PCD tool to flattening machining. Based on basic experiments, the PCD/SCD multi-tool method and the SCD single-tool method were compared through surface roughness and machining time for appllying large area mold machining.

Angiokeratomas represent vascular lesions and are histologically characterized by superficial dermal vascular ectasia with overlying epidermal hyperkeratosis. Angiokeratoma circumscriptum is one of five types in the group of the angiokeratomas. The lesion is present from birth but may appear in childhood or adulthood. Angiokeratoma circumscriptum is typically hyperkeratotic papules or nodules situated unilaterally on the foot or distal aspect of the leg, but can occur elsewhere on the body. Isolated tongue involvement is very rare. We report a 12-year-old boy with angiokeratoma circumscriptum of the posterior dorsal tongue with a review of the literatures.
초정밀 평삭가공과 마이크로 펀칭가공을 위한 하이브리드 가공장비 및 공정기술 개발

Ultra-fine planing and micro punching are separately used for improving surface roughness and machining dot patterns, respectively, of metal molds. If these separate machining processes are applied for machining of identical molds, there could be an aligning mismatch between the machine tool and the mold. A hybrid machining system combining ultra-fine planing and micro punching was newly developed in this study in order to solve this mismatch; hybrid process technology was also developed for machining dot patterns on a mirror surface of a metal mold. The hybrid machining system has X, Y, and Z axes, and a cam axis for ultra-fine planing. The cam axis and attachable and removable solenoid actuators for micro punching can make large and small sizes of dot patterns, respectively. Ultra-fine planing was applied in the first place to improve the surface roughness of a metal mold; the measured surface roughness was about 20nm. Then, micro punching was applied to machine dot patterns on the same mold. It was possible to control the diameter of the dot patterns by changing the input voltage of the solenoid actuator. Before machining, severe inhomogeneous plastic deformation around the machined dot patterns was also removed by annealing heat treatment. Therefore, it was verified that metal molds with dots patterns for optical products can be machined using a hybrid machining system and the hybrid process technology developed in this study.

The specular hologram is one type of hologram, and it consists of many arcs. They are very easy to fabricate and can even be machined by hand had a compass. In this study, we designed two squares having different depths and consisting of many arcs, after which we machined the arcs using end-mill technology. The width of the machined arcs showed high repeatability. Moving tracks were observed on the bottom surface, and top burrs were noted. In spite of them, the phenomenon of the specular hologram was observed when an observer and a light source stood on the same side. The two squares seemed to have different depths when they were observed from the left and right directions. In this study, it was verified that a specular hologram can be manufactured by end-mill technology.
