갑상선 수술 시 Fibrin Tissue Glue의 사용에 대한 후향적 연구

Purpose: This study was designed to determine the effectiveness of fibrin tissue glue for reducing the amount of drainage and shortening the hospital stay. Methods: 255 patients who underwent thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid carcinoma (179 cases of total thyroidectomy and 76 cases of total thyroidectomy with unilateral modified radical neck dissection) were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical factors were compared between the case group (fibrin glue) and the control group (conventional hemostasis). This comparison was separately done for the cases of total tyroidectomy alone and for the cases of total thyroidectomy with MRND. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups for the amount of drainage and the length of the hospital stay for patients who underwent total thyroidectomy alone. On the other hand, for patients who underwent total thyroidectomy with unilateral MRND, a significant reduction of the average amount of drainage (case group: 37.52±9.41 ml, control group: 42.89±10.82 ml, P*=0.025) and a significantly shortened hospital stay (case group: 3.43±0.50 days, control group: 3.75±0.69 days, P*=0.021) were observed in the case group. Conclusion: From the results of this study, we recommend the use of fibrin glue after extensive radical neck surgery such as modified radical neck dissection. Prospective randomized studies should be carried out to confirm and expand our results. (Korean J Endocrine Surg 2006;6:22-26)
變態二酸化망간의 分析化學的 硏究 (第一報). ${\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma}$ 및 ${\delta}-MnO_2$ 의 示差熱曲線에 對한 考察

Various modifications of manganese dioxide have been discussed in terms of the chemical analysis by differential heating curve. The transformation temperatures of the modifications were observed as follows; ${\alpha}-\;and\;{\beta}-MnO_2$ are both $580^{\circ}C∼650^{\circ}C$, ${\gamma}-MnO_2$is is $405^{\circ}C~605^{\circ}C$ and ${\delta}-MnO_2$is $860^{\circ}C~875^{\circ}C$, respectively. Endothermic peaks appeared at the transformation temperatures mentioned above. The restoration temperatures of transformation is completed depending on the amounts of the given samples, but the temperatures of the top of endothermic peaks are nearly constant. The curves of ${\alpha}-,{\beta}-MnO_2$and ${\delta}-MnO_2$ show small peaks while that of ${\gamma}-MnO_2$ shows a sharp and broad peak. 示差熱曲線으로 二酸化망간의 各變態를 分析化學的인 面에서 檢討하였다. 各變態의 轉移溫度는 ${\alpha},{\beta}-MnO_2$인 경우 $580^{\circ}C∼650^{\circ}C$였고, ${\gamma}-MnO_2$인 경우 $405^{\circ}C~605^{\circ}C$, ${\delta}-MnO_2$인 경우 $860^{\circ}C~875^{\circ}C$였으며 吸熱 peak를 나타냈다. 轉移가 完結되는 회복點의 溫度는 試料의 量에 따라서 달랐으나 $T_{max}$點의 溫度는 거의 一定하였다. peak의 모양은 ${\alpha},{\beta}-MnO_2$ 및 ${\gamma}-MnO_2$는 작고 완만하였으며 ${\delta}-MnO_2$는 크고 예민하였다.
Cu-Soy Proteinate(Cu-SP)와 Herbal Mixture(HBM)의 급여가 육계의 생산성, 소장 내 미생물 균총 및 면역체계에 미치는 영향

본 실험에서는 Cu-soy proteinate(Cu-SP)와 Herb-Mix(HBM)을 단독 또는 혼합 급여가 육계의 생산성, 혈액 성상, 면역 및 분내 미생물에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 실시하였다. 육계(Ross308) 1,000수를 공시하여 5처리 4반복으로 반복 당 50수씩 완전 임의 배치하여, 자유 섭식하게 하였으며, 35일간 전기(0~21일), 후기(22~35일)로 나누어 실시하였다. 처리구들은 대조구(Control : negative control), 항생제구(Antibiotics : avilamycin 6 ppm 첨가구), Cu-SP(Cu-soy proteinate로 Cu 100 ppm 첨가구), HBM(지황 10%, 산약 10%, 당귀 20%, 오미자 5%, 감초 5%, 천궁 10%) 0.15% 첨가구, Cu-SP + HBM(Cu-soy proteinate로 Cu 100 ppm 첨가구 + HBM 0.15%) 첨가구 총 5 처리구였다. 35일의 사양 시험 결과, 전기 기간(0~21일)은 증체량, 사료 섭취량, 사료 요구량, 폐사율은 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 반면, 후기 기간(22~35일)에 사료 섭취량과 사료 요구량은 대조구가 유의적으로(P<0.05) 높았다. 전 기간(0~35일)에 증체량은 첨가구들이 유의적으로(P<0.05) 높았다. 반면, 사료 섭취량, 사료 요구량은 첨가구들이 유의적으로(P<0.05) 낮았다. 림프구(LY)는 Cu-SP + HBM구가 유의적으로(P<0.05) 높았으며, HE : LY 비율은 대조구가 유의적으로(P<0.05) 가장 높았다. 혈장 IgG 함량은 HBM 첨가구들이 유의적으로(P<0.05) 높았다. 혈장 IgA 함량은 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 유해균인 Cl. Perfringens는 대조구가 유의적으로(P<0.05) 높았으며, E. coli와 Lactobacillus는 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 Cu-SP와 HBM의 단독 급여나 혼합 급여는 둘 다 생산성을 증가시키며, 면역성상을 개선시키는 역할을 한다. 또한 소장 내 유해 미생물을 억제하는 긍정적인 효과를 보여주었다. The objective of this experiment was to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of copper-soy proteinate (Cu-SP) and herbal mixture (HBM) on growth performance, intestinal microflora, and immune response in broiler. A total 1,000 1-d old ROSS 308 (initial $BW=41{\pm}0.38g$) were randomly allotted to 1 of 5 dietary treatments with 4 replicates during d 35 of the feeding trial. Dietary included: (1) Control : control diet, (2) Antibiotics : control diet + Avilamycin 6 ppm, (3) Cu-SP : control diet + 100 ppm Cu-soy proteinate, (4) HBM : control diet + 0.15% herbal mixture, (5) Cu-SP+HBM : control diet + 100 ppm Cu-soy proteinate + 0.2% herbal mixture. Two-phase feeding program with a starter diet from d 0 to 21, and a finisher diet from d 22 to 35 was used in the experiment. Within each phase, a diet was formulated to meet or exceed NRC requirements of broilers for macro- and micronutrients. The diet and water were available ad libitum. Result indicated that during d 22 to 35 and over all periods of the experiment, feed intake and feed conversion ratio were greater (P<0.05) for other treatment than control. Significant differences were found in lymphocyte (LY), and stress indicator (HE:LY ratio). Lymphocyte was greater (P<0.05) for Cu-SP + HBM treatment than control. However, stress indicator (HE:LY ratio) were greater (P<0.05) for control than Cu-SP + HBM treatment. The plasma IgG was higher (P<0.05) in the antibiotics, HBM, and Cu-SP+HBM treatments groups compared with control. The population of Clostridium perfringens in the antibiotics, Cu-SP, HBM, Cu-SP + HBM treatment groups were lower (P<0.05) than those control. These result suggested that dietary copper-soy proteinate or herbal mixture may be used as an alternative to antibiotics to improve growth performance, and intestinal health of birds.
변태 이산화망간의 분석 화학적 연구 (제3보) 시차 열곡선에 의한 Pyrolusite의 정량

시차열곡선에서 Pyrolusite $({\beta}-MnO_2)$의 결정 전이의 흡열 Peak를 이용하여 분석 화학적인 재현성을 검토한 결과 Pyrolusite의 량이 50mg∼450mg까지는 정량적이었다. ${\alpha}-MnO_2$는 흡열 Peak가 중첩되어 파의 분리가 불가능하였으며, ${\gamma}-MnO_2$(전해이산화망간)와 ${\delta}-MnO_2$는 오차 범위 ${\pm}5{\%}{\sim}{\pm}10{\%}$이내에서 조제시료중 Pyrolusite만을 정량할 수 있다. A study on the endothermic peak of transformation of the pyrolusite was made by using differential thermal curves for analytical reproducibility, and it was done in quantity on range from 50 mg to 450 mg of pyrolusite species. The separation of ${\alpha}-MnO_2$ peak was impossible due to the overlapping between $\alpha$ and pyrolusite peaks, and the pyrolusite was determined among the species, ${\gamma}-MnO_2$ and ${\delta}-MnO_2$, with an error ranging from $5{\%}$ to $10{\%}$.
