Curve Fittig에 의한 Terzaghi의 압밀계수 산정방법 연구

It has been known that Terzaghi's consolidation theory is not well consistent with the consolidation phenomenon on the soft clay ground, but this theory has still been adopted normally in practice because there is no method for estimating the consolidation settlement and rate easier than Terzaghi's theory. It is impossible to map whole part of consolidation settlement vs time curve to the curve of Terzaghi'z average degree of consolidation. If the primary consolidation and the secondary compression are happened same time, it would be useless of trying to find the end of primary consolidation, but it is needed for using Terzaghi's theory that the end of consolidation is determined to the time of beginning consistency between the final settlement analyzed with curve fitting and the experimented consolidation settlement.
홍삼가수분해추출물의 db/db 마우스에서 신장 손상 예방효과

Objectives : Diabetic nephropathy is one of the most significant chronic complications of diabetes. Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) have been implicated in the development of diabetic nephropathy. GS-E3D is an enzymatic modified red ginseng extract by pectin lyase and has an increased concentration of the ginsenoside Rd compared to an unmodified red ginseng extract. In this study, we evaluated the preventive effects of GS-E3D on renal dysfunction in the type 2 diabetic db/db mice. Methods : GS-E3D (100 or 250 ㎎/㎏ body weight per day) was given to db/db mice through oral gavage for 6 weeks. Body weight and blood glucose levels were examined. At the end of the experiment, albuminuria was measured. The renal tissues were collected for histological examination, and immunohistochemical staining was used to detect renal accumulation of AGEs and podocyte loss Results : In the db/db mice, severe hyperglycemia developed, and albuminuria was significantly increased. Diabetes induced markedly morphological alterations to the renal glomerular cells. AGE accumulations and podocyte loss were detected in renal glomeruli. No difference in blood glucose levels was noted between GS-E3D-treated and vehicletreated diabetic db/db mice. However, GS-E3D treatment significantly reduced albuminuria and AGE accumulations in diabetic mice. Moreover, the loss of podocytes was restored by GS-E3D treatment. Conclusions : GS-E3D might be beneficial for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. The ability of GS-E3D on to attenuate albuminuria and podocyte dysfunction in the db/db mice may be mediated by the inhibition of AGE accumulation.

The advent of information-oriented society brings enterprise"s competition to more severe, and makes it necessary for the efficient use of enterprise"s resources. Enterprises propelled informatization through with the advanced information technology to improve business efficiency and productivity. In this informatization environment, the bottom line is not how good information systems are, but rather how well they are used. Therefore, personal informatization level is very important to improve business performance and enterprise"s competitiveness in enterprise of informatization environment.<BR> In this study, we developed a PIES (Personal Informatization Evaluation System) that could evaluate personal informatization and maturity level and applied it to human resources in enterprise of informatization environment to verify its application validity. We had a pilot test before applying the public evaluation to human resources in enterprise and the evaluation materials for the PIES ware composed of questionnaire, written test and utilization test.

Korea is one of the countries with a large market of veterinary antibiotics, although antimicrobial resistance in bacteria is becoming a serious issue in many countries. Korean government started to be interested in estimation of effects of livestock manure on rivers and agricultural soils and in monitoring heavy metals, organic pollutants and antibiotics in the water and soil samples. In this paper, pre-treatment methods to separate the selected antibiotics from the solid samples were reviewed. It is essential to select an efficient and proper procedure for the pre-treatment due to the high portion of proteins and organics in biosolid samples. The pre-treatment consists of extraction followed by clean-up. Initially, homogenized samples were extracted by sonication, mechanical agitation or pressurized liquid extraction with methanol/acetonitrile/water mixture under acidic/base depending on compounds. However, aminoglycosides and colistin were extracted with 5% trichloroacetic acid and HCl, respectively. Since the β-lactams are easily decomposed in acidic and basic condition, these were extracted in neutral pH. Filtration with membrane (pore size, 0.2 μm) or solid phase extraction with HLB and methanol, as eluent, were normally applied for the clean-up. More than three pre-treatment procedures should be adopted to screen all the selected antibiotics in solid samples.

기상변화에 따른 강우강도의 증가와 도시적 토지이용면적의 증가로 강우 시 비점 오염원의 관리에 어려움을 가중시키고 열섬현상과 도시홍수가 중요한 사회 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 도시 및 개발지역에 개발 이전의 수문 순환 생태에 최대한 근접하여 개발로 인한 영향을 최소화 하는 저영향개발(LID ;Low Impactment Development)기법이 대두되고 있다. 그러나 현재 개발 사업에 적용할 수 있는 LID 기법 및 적용방안이 미비한 실정이다. 특히 철도차량기지 건설시 비점오염원에 대한 저감방안수립은 장치형 비점오염저감시설 설치외에 별다른 대책이 없는 실정이며 LID기법 적용은 전무한 상태로 보다 적극적인 도입이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 LID 기법 중 하나인 투수블럭을 철도 차량기지에 적용하였을 때 우수유출량 및 비점오염 저감효과를 모델을 이용하여 정량화하고자 실무적으로 널리 이용되고 있는 EPA SWMM 5를 이용하여 LID 기법을 적용 및 평가하였다. In recent years, heat island effect and urban floods have become more frequent in urban areas. It is widely known that such phenomena are mostly attributed to an increase in impermeable surface such as buildings and road pavements by urbanization. LID (Low Impact Development) has been a hot issue in watershed management due to increase in impervious areas with rapid urbanization and land use changes. This study illustrates how to design and evaluate the effect of non-point pollutant management using EPASWMM LID module and suggests design parameters for modeling LID facilities. Also, this study illustrates how to design and evaluate a non-point pollutant management detention pond using SWMM. In particular, special attention is given to the orifice design. In addition, a methodology which can be used to design a virtual junction in SWMM has been proposed to quantify water quality improvement triggered by the detention pond installation.
